Just Add Ink Challenge #529 & Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #459

Today's card was inspired by 2 challenges....

Freshly Made Sketches #459...a geometric sketch challenge.  Designer papers seemed like the best way to accomplish this sketch.

Just Add Ink Challenge #529...a color challenge.  The color combo for this challenge was Misty Moonlight, Silver, and Magenta Madness.  I just realized there was no stamping done on this card...just layers of papers!!  Maybe I will give this challenge another try and use some ink!!

The Paper Players Challenge #514 & Global Design Project #264

This card was inspired by two challenges....

The Paper Players sketch challenge. #514

Global Design Project #264...this challenge was a CASE challenge.  Copy and selectively edit...This week, we are CASEing a card by Steffi Helmschrott.

#bethegift challenge:  Set three alarms today...each time they go off pray for some one who is hurting!!  Include the US Presidential Election in each of those prayers!!

Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge #548 & Less Is More Challenge #431

It is amazing that you can use the same designer paper and create a card full of detail and another card that is completely CAS!!  I created two cards using Stampin Up's designer papers.

This first card was created for the Mojo Monday Sketch challenge.  #mojomonday548
Lots of detail with multiple layers...very different from this next card.

This second card was created for the Less is More challenge.  This challenge is a CAS challenge that calls for the use of two types of foliage.  I stamped in black a different type of sea foliage over the printed foliage on this designer paper.  Very clean and simple--CAS!!

INKspirational Challenge #224 & Fab Friday Challenge #200

Today's card was inspired by two challenges...

INKspirational Challenge #224...A picture challenge.   The "I'm here for you" sentiments seemed appropriate for this foreboding photo...reminds me of 2020!!  The scene framed by the woods inspired the foliage framed scene on my card!!

Fab Friday Challenge #200...A color challenge.  5 colors.  Here is how I used them:  Basic Black-spider web, ribbon, thread, and ink//Highland Heather-moon punched out of designer paper//Garden Green-layer cut out with Stampin Up's Birds & More die//Granny Apple Green-rhinestones//Pumpkin Pie-Card stock for the back drop of my scene.

#bethegift challenge:  Ask "How can I help?" as many times as possible today!!

Just Us Girls Challenge #559

Here is my take on the photo challenge from Just Us Girls.  I love that large clock on the wall and made me think of the Tim Holtz stencil I had hidden away in my stash.  I decided on the rust designer paper because of the color of flowers sitting on the table.  Stampin Up's Rose Wonder sentiment/frame and leaf die seemed to finish it off perfectly!!

#bethegift challenge:  Invite just one person to one thing today...invest in friendship!

TGIF Challenge #287 // CAS(E) this Sketch #395 // Less Is More Challenge #431

 Three challenges inspired this card...

TGIF challenge #TGIFC287...Their challenge was a theme challenge...Happy Halloween.  I have never been one that celebrates Halloween but this cute little stamp set from Stampin Up (Have a Hoot bundle) has me creating several cards this year.

CAS(E) this Sketch #395...Their sketch challenge paired up perfectly.  I used Stampin Up's Birds and Branches bundle for the wreath.

Less Is More #431...Their challenge called for more than one type of foliage.  In addition to the wreath, my first type of foliage,  I added in branches from Stampin Up's Winter Woods bundle.  Thus two types of foliage nestle my little owl and pumpkin!

Inspired By Challenge #147

The inspiration for this card came from the Inspired By challenge.  #IB146 Each week they give us a photo challenge along with a sketch challenge.  Today I used both in my card.  I used Stampin Up's Create a Cupcake stamp set & matching punch along with one of the sentiments from the Sprinkles of Life stamp set...even though these items have been retired they fit the "fall is sweet" challenge to perfectly.

CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #393 // Paper Craft Crew Challenge #398

My card was inspired two challenges...

Paper Craft Crew Challenge #398...The crew had a fun horizontal sketch for us this week.  I thought the triangle worked perfectly to showcase a Christmas tree.

CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #393...Misty Moonlight//Crumb Cake//Night of Navy is the color combo for this weeks challenge.  I used Misty Moonlight designer papers and enamel dots, Crumb Cake card stock and Night of Navy ink.

Fusion Challenge...Purple Night & Tic Tac Toe Challenge #087

Today's card was inspired by 2 challenges...

Tic Tac Toe Challenge #087...My three in a row from this game board runs down the right hand side.  Leaves//Trees//Purple.  The purple part had me stumped until I saw the Fusion Challenge.

Fusion Challenge//Purple Night...The Fusion challenge always gives us a sketch and a photo.  We are suppose to use one or the other or "fuse" them together and use both.  For today's card I chose to use both.

The Paper Players Challenge #513 & Less Is More Challenge #430

Two challenges...sketch challenge from Less Is More and a theme challenge from The Paper Players.  I had a lot of fun with these two challenges...so much so that I created 3 cards.  Both of the challenges called for CAS (clean and simple) cards.  My first card definitely fits that the other two were created  using the same theme/sketch but are less CAS.

Update:
I got a shout out from the Paper Players challenge!!  I smiled really big when I saw my card among the "cut above" selections!! Thanks, Ann!!

#bethegift challenge:  Call a parent or a child and thank them for a good memory!

Twofer Challenge #32 // Less Is More #430 // Just Us Girls #558

Twofer Challenge...Silhouettes

The Twofer challenge asks us to create two cards...two different designs for two different occasions using the same stamps, stencils, and/or dies.  Stampin Up's palm die from the Timeless Tropical bundle makes a great silhouette.  One card is a retirement and one is a birthday card. Also for this challenge I used the same embossing folder on both cards but used them very differently.  On the retirement card I embossed the silhouette and on the birthday card I embossed the whole background.  Each of these cards was also inspired by one additional challenge.

Card #1 was also made for the Just Us Girls color challenge.  Their color combo for this current challenge is orange/black/purple.  I used Calypso Coral and Perfect Plum...of course black for my silhouette and sentiment.

Card #2 was also made for the Less Is More
CASE challenge.  For this challenge we were asked to CASE (copy and share everything) Sharon's card.  I thought the sketch of this card was super fun!!
