4 challenges inspired today's card...
The Paper Players // #PP809 ...A sketch challenge!! Their sketch was the starting point for today's card. It worked perfectly for combining these 4 challenges.
Little Red Wagon // #LRW881 ...A theme challenge!! The current theme was inspired by Billy Joel's song TELL HER ABOUT IT!! They want to see projects with envelopes, post-cards, handwritten letters, emails, phones, typewriters, etc. Basically, any form of communication works! I used a stamp of a typewriter from Unity Stamps.
Color Hues // #TCH143 ...A color challenge with just two colors!! For this current challenge the duo of colors...ORANGE (designer paper) & BLACK (rhinestones, ink & ribbon)!
Make My Monday // #MMM289 ...A theme challenge!! USE THE COLOUR ORANGE is the theme for this current challenge!! I pulled off an orange card without it being another Halloween card.
Never Before Used // #NBUS91 .
..The NBUS blog doesn't give challenges but offers a great place to show off those items that have "never been used" ...whether they are brand new or items that you have had for a while but haven't gotten around to using. Today I am using a 12x12 piece of designer paper that I have been hoarding in my stash. This piece from Recollections // I wanna ride // Orangade has been untouched for over 15 years!! Today I made the first cuts into it!! I also inked up the Unity sentiment from this typewriter set for the very first time today. Two NEVER BEEN USED items on today's card.

Cute card, DJ! I like how you used the colors to make a card that isn't Halloween and that typewriter image is so cute. Congrats on finally cutting into the paper too--I also have a slight paper hoarding problem so I have been working this year to just use the paper, ha!
