This cute little card was created for 3 challenges.  Thanks to all three for the inspiration...here is how they inspired me...

*Followed the sketch from Handstamped Sentiments

*Used the polka dots and octopus from INKspirational's photo

*The octopus fits Global Design Project's theme...aquatic (#GDP251)

The sentiment on this card is a retired set from Stampin Up and the octopus is from Stampin Up's Sea of Textures bundle.  I am loving how this card turned out!

Paper Players Challenge #501

Today I am playing along with the Paper Players sketch challenge.  I created my card using Stampin Up's Whale Done bundle and their new Seabed 3D embossing folder.  I love the look of vellum embossed with this folder!!

Less Is More Challenge #424

A single layer card is called for over at the Less Is More challenge.  We are also celebrating (or at least creating) "Christmas in July".  So here is my single layer, Christmas in July creation.  I pulled it off using Stampin Up's Beautiful Blizzard stamp set. 

Tic Tac Toe Challenge #074

Today I am playing along with the Tic Tac Toe challenge.  My three in a row on this game board runs down the left hand side...Mountains//Hot Air Balloon//Pink.  I created my mountains with Stampin Up's Waterfront stamp set...the hot air balloon was created with Stampin Up's Above the Cloud bundle...my pink was Stampin Up's Blushing Bride ink.

Just Us Girls Challenge #546

Just Us Girls has a photo challenge for us this week.  The photo this week has me thinking of fairs and carnivals.  Kinda missing the local fairs this summer.  Covid has stolen so many things from us.  It hasn't stolen my mojo...if anything it has given me more time to stamp!!  The photo has a bit of a retro feel to you so I pulled out this retro ferris wheel stamp from days gone by.  I also tried to recreate the cloudy skies in the photo.  Thanks for the inspiration!!

B is for Baby

Three cards...Three Challenges...One sheet of retired designer papers.  This trio of baby boy cards was created using Stampin Up's new Monogram Messages stamp set.  Card #1 was created for the Sketch Saturday challenges.  Card #2 was created for the Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge.  Card #3 was created for the Freshly Made Sketches challenge.  All three challenges were sketch challenges this week.  I love how all three turned out.

3 challenges in 2 cards!! 

This first card is for the Time Out Challenge.  Our prompt for this challenge was PEACEFUL.  To me, nothing says peaceful more than a adirondack chair in the sunshine...of course there is needs to be a nice breeze blowing too!!

My second card is for the Color Throwdown challenge (yellow/orange/green) and the sketch challenge from CAS(E) this Sketch.

Inspired By Challenge #134 & Paper Craft Crew Challenge #385

Summertime!! Yes it is!! Super hot outside here in Florida...so a perfect day to stay inside where it is cool and do a little creating.  Today's card was created for the "beach life" challenge from the Inspired By team.   I used both their sketch and their inspirational photo.  This card also fits the tic tac toe board from the Paper Craft Crew Challenge.  My three "in a row" runs down the left side...Birthday theme, Tropical feel, Distressed element.  Two elements on this card fill the "distressed element" that is call for...all the torn/distressed card stock that creates my sand & surf, and if you look closely at the paper piecing on the surf board you will see some distressed designer paper was used.

                                                           

My palm trees are from Stampin Up's Friend Like You stamp set and the surf board and sentiments are from Verve (a company that no longer exists but I still enjoy their stamps).

Freshly Made Sketches # 445

What a fun sketch from the Freshly Made Sketches challenge!! I right away thought of these adorable pearls for the row of circles that this sketch called for.  This sketch has so many possibilities...I think I will save it for use again!!

CASology Challenge #371

POOL....that is the cue card for the current CASology challenge.  I had to get creative with this cue card because I didn't really have any "pool-ish" stamps.  So...I just created a pool of water with Stampin Up's stitch circle die and added a little duck.  It might be a stretch but I think it works!!  Thanks CASology for making me think/create outside the box!!

Global Design Team #250 // Just Us Girls #545 // Paper Players #500

CELEBRATE!!  Yes that is right....time to celebrate along with the Paper Players!!  Why??  500 challenges!!  This is their 500th challenge!! Wowsers...that is definitely something to celebrate!!
I am also playing along with the color challenge from Just Us Girls...mustard//teal//gray and the sketch challenge from the Global Design Team.  This is their 250th challenge so they are half way to the 500 mark.

As You See It Challenge #230 & Sunday Stamps Challenge #235

Speed Challenge...gotta love that!!  Make a card in under 10 minutes!!  My card for the As You See It timed challenge with a trio of something (for me it was balloons...a punch made that happen very quickly) was completed in 6 minutes and 23 seconds.  Yahoo!!
   
This designer paper that has long since been retired from Stampin Up (yes...I am a hoarder when it comes to paper) was perfect for the color combo for the Sunday Stamps challenge.

Twofer Challenge #29

Today I am playing along with the Twofer Challenge.  This challenge asks us to use two different designs for two different occasions using the same stamps, stencils, and/or dies.  This month the challenge also asks us to use butterflies.  I used the same butterfly stamp and punch.  For the first card I stamped and embossed the butterfly on vellum and on the second card I stamped the butterfly on Daffodil Delight card stock.  I love seeing everyones "two from one cards"...Twofer!!

CAS(E) this Sketch #381 & Cardz 4 Guyz Challenge #249

Here is my take on the sketch challenge from CAS(E) this Sketch.  I love that I had matching bakers twine and ribbon...perfect for this sketch!!  I am also playing along with the challenge from Cardz 4 Guyz.  Their challenge was to create a masculine card using no patterned papers.  Stampin Up's By the Dock bundle was perfect for creating a scene but leaving the patterned papers untouched.  Thanks to both teams for these fun challenges.

Fab Friday Challenge #194 & TicTacToe Challenge #073

Inspiration for today's card came from the color challenge from Fab Friday and the game board from the TicTacToe team.  I love the bright colors called for from the Fab Friday team...Bermuda Bay,  Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, and Poppy Parade.   My winning three in a row from the game board ran down the middle...chevron, staple, and free draw.  I created this fun scene using the Whale Done stamp set and the retired Work of Art stamp set from them.

#bethegift challenge:   Drive around with bottles of cold water and hand them out to those working in the heat!
