CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #408

 This card was created for the CAS Colours & Sketches challenge.  I had my card designed with just the oars but then dropped an ink pad on my card and had to add the boat to cover up my mess!!  I always say there are no mistakes in stamping just reasons for more layers!! :-)

CASology // #384 ...A cue card challenge! The current cue card...FOX!! My one and only fox stamp...be it small and simple...it does fit the challenge!

TGIF Challenge #305 // The Spot Challenge #151 // The Library Challenge #77

The Spot // #151 ...A slim line card challenge!  I love this size card...the first couple that I made I was a bit intimidated!!  Now I love the extra space I get to work with!!

TGIF Challenge // #tgifc305 ...A photo challenge!!  Their current photo has a celebratory feel to it...a cupcake/ice cream shop what better place to celebrate a birthday!!

The Library Challenge // #77 ...A book challenge!!  That is right...we are given a book to inspire us!!  A book is pulled off the shelf and we are suppose to use the cover, the story, or the title as our inspiration.  For this current challenge the book is, Big Red Bath by Julia Jarman and Adrian Reynolds!

Product Showcase: Stampin Up's Hey Chic, Hey Birthday Chic, and Happy Birthday die.  I also used watercolor pencils to give these cute chic some color!!

Try Stampin on Tuesday Challenge #494 & Paper Craft Crew Challenge #415

 2 challenges inspired today's card...

Try Stampin On Tuesday // #TSOT494 ...A sketch and a technique challenge!  The technique called for in this challenge is bleaching!!   For this card I sprayed my embossing folder with bleach and ran a piece of Soft Suede card stock through my Big Shot.  I always find is fun to see what color changes happen during this technique...who knew that Soft Suede would produce such a bright yellow?!?

Paper Craft Crew // #PCC415 ...A color challenge!!  Their current color combo is pink, yellow, blue, and green.  I got my yellow using the bleach technique on Soft Suede (my neutral) card stock.  Pink...Flirty Flamingo ink on my jelly fish. Blue...Marina Mist card stock for my shadow layer and ink for sponging the edges and my fishes. Green...Gumball Green for my seaweed.  I gave this color combo a very different theme.

 

Update:  Yippie...this card made the "top 3" for Try Stampin on Tuesday challenge!!

Color Throwdown #631 // Global Design Project #280

 Two challenges inspired today's card...

Color Throwdown // #ctd631...A color challenge!  Magenta, Pink, Rust and Turquoise.  The photo prompt was gorgeous and all the samples from the design team rocked but I struggled with this color combo!!  In the end I give it about a 6!!

Global Design Project // #GDP280 ...A CASE challenge!  Copy and selectively edit!!  This week we were CASEing a card from Janneke De Jong.

Retro Rubber Challenge #152

Today's card was created for the sketch challenge from Retro Rubber Challenge Blog (  #RRCB152 ).  Not only is this a sketch challenge but we are also suppose to use a stamp set that is over a year old.  I decided that the Perfect Pennants set from Stampin Up was perfect for this sketch.  This stamp set came out in 2014...that qualifies it for this challenge!!  7 years old!

Update:  Yippie!! That card was a "top pick" for the Retro Rubber challenge!!  Thanks for the shout out!!

INKspirational Challenge // #233 ...A word prompt challenge!! The word for this current challenge is TOWER. Who doesn't think of Eiffel Tower then you say...Tower?!?

Fusion // Rainbow Dress ...A photo and a sketch challenge!!  For this challenge we are either suppose to use the sketch or the photo...or create a Fusion and use them both!!

Just Us Girls // #JUG572 ...A color challenge! Rainbow colors!! That is what they asked for this week!

My second card was created for the Inspired By Challenge ( #IB162 ).  Our challenge this time was to use a quote...I actually had a Winnie the Pooh quote stamp!!  No Winnie the Pooh images stamps but thought the quote paired up perfectly with these two barnyard "love birds"!!

The Paper Players // #PPC529 ...A CAS challenge with a feline theme!!  I had to dig deep...this retired set from Stampin Up is my only feline stamp!! Right about now I was wishing for that cute cat punch!!

Addicted to CAS // #191 ...A code word challenge!! The current code word...HEARTS!! This sentiment from Verve seemed perfect for this current challenge! 

Time Out Challenge // #181 ...A photo challenge!!  Those red hearts were my inspiration!!

Fab Friday // #207 ...A sketch challenge!!  I needed to make several sympathy card really quick to fill a last minute order...this sketch was perfect for that!!  Using this sketch I was able to create a classy sympathy card very quickly!

 

Just Add Ink // #542 ...A photo inspired challenge!!  I love the color combo of this photo...the green, the gray, and the pink!  I couldn't resist also using the "lay out".  It seemed like this photo almost gave us a sketch!

Paper Craft Crew // #PCC414 ...A sketch challenge!! Another fun sketch this week.  As always I love all the fun element that this team packs into their sketch challenges!!

TGIF Challenge // #tgifc304 ...A Sale-A-Bration challenge!  This week our challenge was to use a product from Stampin Up's Sale-A-Bration catalog.  I picked the Berry Blessings set...I just love the blueberries!!  Stampin Up showcases this set along with their Sweet Strawberry set from the mini catalog so I used that set as well.

CAS Colours & Sketches // #404 ...A color challenge!  The trio of colors this week...Flirty Flamingo, Gray Granite, and Misty Moonlight.  I used Misty Moonlight ink, designer papers, and enamel embellishments...just ink for the other two colors!!
