CAS Colours & Sketches // #421 ...A sketch challenge!  I love that this sketch called for a non-geometric shape...creative!! I stamped my image and then laid a mask over it and sponged a trio of blues.

Retro Rubber Challenge // #rrcb159 ...An anything goes challenge!! Of course this challenge also requires that the stamps be over a year old...my stamp is from back in 2015.  It is a retired set called From Land and Sea from Stampin Up.

Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge #560 // Retro Rubber Challenge #159

Today's card was inspired by the sketch challenge from Mojo Monday.  The current sketch ( #mojomonday560 ) is a slimline card. I love that Julee gives us the measurements...makes cutting and creating a breeze!!  My mom asked for a graduation card made is the school colors of the graduate...this sketch was perfect for pulling that together for her.  Since the stamp I used for this card came out in 2012, this card is also being entered in the Retro Rubber Challenge ( #rrcb159 ).  Their current challenge is an "anything goes" challenge.  This card also works for the Freshly Made Sketches challenge to create a slim line card. ( #FMS487 )

Global Design Project // #GDP293...A color challenge!  Their color combo of Pale Papaya, Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen is perfect for spotlighting Stampin Up's new Sweet As a Peach bundle.  I love this new set and these new In Colors.

Card #2...

Try Stampin On Tuesday // #TSOT507 ...A sketch challenge with a twist!!  The twist for this challenge, make a card with a see through section!!  I created an underwater card with a see through section using my new seahorse die from Stampin Up's Sea of Life die set!! 

Update:  Yahoo!! This card was a "top 3 pick" from the TSOT design team!! Of course this seahorse does all the work for you...it is a beauty and my new favorite!!

The Spot Challenge // #163 ...A sketch challenge!  I love the addition of a tag on a card so this sketch was fun for me.  I also decided to use gingham paper to match in with the sketch.

Sunday Stamps // #SSC257 ...A color challenge!!  We were given 5 colors and asked to use at least three of them.  I used Stampin Up's Calypso Coral, Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight, Pool Party, and Basic Gray.

Inspired By // #IB175 ...A photo challenge with an optional sketch challenge!!  I used both the photo and the sketch as inspiration for my card.  These mini paper flowers that I had stashed away were perfect for this challenge.

Just Add Ink // #JAI555 ...A color challenge!!  The trio of colors for this challenge...Magenta Madness, Just Jade, and Pool Party.  For my cactus, I inked the stamp in Pool Party and then used my Just Jade Maker to add an additional layer of color.

TGIF // #tgifc317 ...An inspiration challenge!!  Using the new Stampin Up catalog as your inspiration...WOW...that gives us endless possiblities!! I picked the Flowering Cactus Product Medley and used the stamps and dies.

Color Throwdown // #ctd643 ...A color challenge!!  The colors for this current challenge are aqua, iced blue, and pale green.  My pale green almost looks yellow against my blues but by itself it is definately green.  I used Stampin Up's Tempting Tourquoise, Pool Party, and Soft Sea Foam.

Tic Tac Toe // #tttc114 ...A game board challenge!!  My winning three in a row run across the bottom of the board.  Nature, Sea, and Masculine are my winning trio!!

Time Out Challenge // #118 ...An inspiration challenge with a twist.  We are to be inspired by "something in our home" and the twist was to use embossing.  I have seashells all over my house...kitchen, livingroom, bathroom, and bedroom!! For the twist I dry embossed each of the shells on my card.

CAS Colours & Sketches // #420 ...A color challenge!! The trio of colors for this challenge are Blushing Bride, Soft Sea Foam, and Highland Heather.  Sounds like a beautiful bouquet, right??
