We hope you will join the fun and play along with our new challenge.  For this current challenge we want you to make a masculine card that showcases this theme...ON THE WATER.

For my card I used Stampin Up's dies and stamps from 3 sets...By the Dock, Best Catch and Waterfront.  All of these sets work great for creating a masculine card.  I made this one for my Dad for Father's Day.  I can't wait to see what you create for this challenge. 

My card was also inspired by another challenge...

Tic Tac Toe Challenges // #tttc163 ...A game board challenge!!  My winning three in a row on this game board are...Dad, ribbon, and square card.  I used a piece of burlap ribbon from a floral arrangement I received earlier this year, cut my card base to a 4 x 4 and used a DAD sentiment from Stampin Up's Best Catch set.

Card #2 inspired by 2 challlenges...

Less Is More // LIM465 ...A rainbow challenge!!  ROYGBIV Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and violet.  It is raining as I post this card and the sun is trying to peek through...that means there is a rainbow somewhere out there!!

Addicted to CAS // #221 ...A code word challenge!!  The code word for this challenge is STRIPES.  The colors of the rainbow make beautiful stripes as a backdrop for my umbrella.

Color Throwdown Challenge // #ctd694 ...A color challenge!!  Black (sentiments), Red (starfish), Aqua (water), and Yellow (sun).  A CAS card for this current color challenge!!

Today's card was inspired by 3 challenges...

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge // #AHSC474 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch is perfect for showcasing the multiple gorgeous papers in this Whale Done packet.

As You See It // #AYSI275 ...A recipe challenge!!  The ingredients in this challenge are: Dies (oval and scallop for sentiment), Embossing folder (my seahorse was run through the Big Shot using an embossing folder to give it texture), "B" (birthday), Subtle colors (I used lighter color inks to give my images a subtle look against the designer papers), and shining (rhinestone scattered all over my card for this element).

Just Add Ink // #JAI605 ...A inspiration challenge!!  This photo makes we think of all the awesome creatures and shells that are to be found!!

Card #1 inspired by one challenge...

Global Design Project // #GDP344 ...A CASE challenge!!  For this current challenge we were asked to CASE a card designed by Charlet Mallett.  For my CASE of her care I used the same color scheme and loosely followed her sketch.

Card #2 inspired by two challenges...

Try Stampin On Tuesday // #ttot556 ...A sketch challenge!!  The additional twist for this challenge is to use die cuts.  I used both!! I taped two of my stitched square dies together so that I could great these cute frames.

TGIF Challenges // #tgifc370 ...A technique challenge!!  FRAMES!!  Made my own frames using 2 of Stampin Up's stitched square dies. 

Both of these cards work perfectly for the current Retro Rubber Challenge as well.  Their current challenge is an anything goes challenge...of course we had to use stamps that are over a year old.  The first card uses Stampin Up's Penned and Painted set from 2016.  The second card uses Stampin Up's Blue Ribbon set from 2014.

 Today's card was inspired by 1 challenge...

CAS Colours & Sketches // #471 ...A sketch challenge!!  I know the sketch said any shape but I was kinda sold on the clouds!!  I stamped my sun, cut out my clouds, and then layered my my designer paper on a white base with foam tape so that it was dimensional.

Paper Craft Crew Challenges // #472 ...A tic-tac-toe challenge!! My winning 3 in a row...running down the center of the game board are die cut, bling, and flowers.

Retro Rubber // #rrcb183 ...An anything goes challenge!!  And...you have to use a stamp that is over a year old!!  How about one from 2012!?! That is 20 years old!!! What!?!  Still stamps great!! That is right...Mixed Bunch from Stampin Up came out in 2012 in the occasions mini catalog.

Today's card was inspired by 2 challenges...

TGIF Challenges // #tgifc369 ...An inspiration challenge!!  The inspiration for this challenge is the cover of the new Stampin Up catalog.  I didn't have the exact flowers or leaves used but I think I did pretty good CASEing the cover.

INKspirational Challenge // #265 ...A designer's choice challenge.  The choice for this challenge is to use some free or gifted.  I used a spiral tablet of watercolor paper that my daughter gave to me.

Paper Craft Crew Challene // #PCC472 ...A tic-tac-toe challenge!!  My winning three in a row on this game board...die cuts, bling, flowers.

Just Us Girls // #JUG633 ...A color challenge!! Tan, Coral, and Blue are the colors called for in this challenge.  Coral calls for coral and tan calls for sand...I just couldn't resist another beach themed card with this color combo.

Papercraft Challenges // #82 ...A add bling challenge!!  Coral sequins it is!!  Actually both of today's cards have a little bit of bling.

Sunday Stamps #283

 Today's card was inspired by 1 challenge...

Sunday Stamps Challenge // #SSC283 ...A color challenge!!  I love the mixed berry assortment of colors.  For my take on this challenge I used Stamp Up colors...Night of Navy, Dapper Denim, Cherry Cobble, and Poppy Parade.  Used 2 step stamping for my berries and finished off my card with ribbon and twine as a simple embellishment.

Update: This card was chosen as a "top cup" over at Sunday Stamps!!  Yippie!!  Thanks to Amy for the shout out!!

Shopping Our Stash Begins a New Challenge Today

Today begins a new challenge...

Shopping Our Stash // #SOS471 ...Make mine a tall one!!  Create a slimeline card using up some of your stash.  For my card I used some hemp that was leftover from a macrame project my daughter made while she was visiting.  She left a wad of it on my work table and said..."Mom, I'm sure you can find a great way to use this on a card."  I hope you will join the fun and play along with us.  I look forward to seeing what you find rummaging through your stash.

Just Add Ink // #JAI604 ...A CASE challenge!!  For this challenge they want us to CASE one of our own cards.  I decided to CASE the card I made for the new challenge that begins today at Shopping Our Stash.  I used the same color scheme, added my sentiment on a banner, and used the same die, but created a standard size card instead of a slimline card.  See today's first card...that is the one I am CASEing.
