Global Design Project // #GDP348 ...A CASE challenge!! For this challenge we are CASEing a card created by Krista Frattin.  I love that this card is packed with detail and yet simplistic!! My CASE of her card...I used the same anchour stamp, a similar scripted background, and included hearts.

Try Stampin On Tuesday // #TSOT560 ...A sketch challenge!! In addition to the sketch we were given an optional twist...stitching!!  I added a couple of cross stitches to fullfill this option.

As You See It // #AYSI277 ...A speed challenge!!  Create a card in under 10 minutes and make it a belated birthday card.  I finished my card in 9.5 minutes!!  I did have my mask cut out ahead of time...this set has several masks pre-cut and stored in the case.

Color Hues // #TCH43 ...A color challenge!! The color duo for this challenge is blue and green.  Sky and grass...that was what popped into my mind when I saw the colors called for.

Just Us Girls // #JUG637 ...A color challenge!!  The color combo for this challenge: red, yellow, and blue.  Seems like the perfect combo for a card full of sprinkles!!

New Challenge Begins @ Shopping Our Stash

Today begins a new challenge...

Shopping Our Stash // #SOS473 ...Our new challenge is "There is GNOME one like you"!!  So shop your stash and create a card that has at least one gnome on it.  We can't wait to see all the different gnomes that come out to play.  Here is a link to our blog so you can be inspired by the rest of the design team.

There is GNOME one like you!

How did I shop my stash...that little "love" charm has been in my stash for over 8 years (since before we moved to FL).  It was a package of 50!  Slowing but surely it has dwindled over the years...I think I have about 10 left.

Today's card was also inspired by 2 additional challenges...

Cupcake Inspirations // #546 ...A color challenge!!  The color combo for this challenge is pink, purple, and lavender.  I used watercolor pencils to color in my gnome...they worked perfectly for creating purple and lavender on his hat.

Papercraft Challenges // #83 ...A "for the girls" challenge!!  My card was created for my cousin's daughter who loves gnomes.  After Hurricane Michael took out all our trees we turned 3 stumps into gnome homes and she just loves them.  And of course what little girl doesn't love pink & purple!!
