As You See It // #AYSI289b ...A inspiration challenge!!  My inspiration from this photo...the colors, the music theme, and the flowers. This card was not intended to be grungy but when I torn this old song book page while adding the adhesive...I just ran with it!!  So grunge it is!!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #505

 Today's challenge was inspired by 1 challenge...

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge // #AHSC505 ...A sketch challenge!!  This was a great sketch for using up pieces and parts that were in my snippet box.  The butterfly had be cut out and never used and this set of designer papers were leftover from a packet from years ago.  It is amazing what you can make from scraps!!

While in my box of snippets I decided to make this card...

Try Stampin On Tuesday // #TSOT587 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch helped me make a small dent in box of snippets.  I used scraps from the same pack of designer papers as my first card.  Thanks to the TSOT team of helping me make progress in my designer papers hoarding issues.

 Today's challenge was inspired by 1 challenge...

Saturday Sketch Challenge // #716 ...A sketch challenge!!  They also gave an optional twist of using something new.  I used these metal flowers as my accent piece.  The countdown to a new year is on and I am excited to see what 2023 brings!!

CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #500

 Wowsers!!!  500!!  Congrats to the CAS Colours & Sketches challenge blog and hitting such a milestone!!  For this week's challenge they are asking us to pick one of their past challenges as our inspiration.  I picked sketch #489 as my inspiration.  Now, I did make mine a circular card instead of using a large circle on a card.   I think they will be okay with that!  #CC&S500

I also used a new stamp!!  That means I am entering this card in the NBUS challenge as well!!  I got so excited when my order from Simon Says arrived...like Christmas all over again!!

New Challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz

 Today begins a new challenge at...

Cardz 4 Guyz // #C4G312 ...A masculine challenge with a WINTER theme.  My card, for this challenge, was made for my nephew's birthday in January.  A winter birthday deserves a winter themed card...right?!?

TGIF Challenge // #tgifc400 ...A product challenge!!  PUNCH...the product being showcased in this challenge.  I took Stampin Up's owl builder punch and cut off it ears and used them for arms so that I could create a penguin.  He is adorable!!  Would you agree!??!

Try Stampin On Tuesday // #TSOT587 ...A sketch challenge!!  An optional theme for this sketch is "snowy days".  I think this jumbo snowflake fills that portion of the challenge perfectly.

Update: This card was chosen as a winner by the Try Stampin On Tuesday design team!!  Yippie!!  Love when one of my cards gets picked as a winner!!

 3 challenges inspired today's card...

Just Add Ink // #JAI635 ...A photo challenge!!  My inspiration from the photo...the Christmas tree and the color combo.  It seems fitting to make my first Christmas card for 2023 on the day after Christmas!!  One down and many, many, many more to go!!

Sketch~N~Scrap // #232 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch had a Christmas tree on it and while I am sure another shape would have been fine I decided to keep the tree and start my Christmas stash for next Christmas!

Papercraft Challenges // #89 ...A theme challenge!! DECK THE HALLS!!  Perfect!!  I even have a sentiment stamp from Stampin Up's retired Happy Scenes stamp set that says "deck the halls"!!  I love it!!

New Challenge at Sunday Stamps

 Merry Christmas!!

May today be a reminder of the greatest gift of all...our savior's birth!!

Today begins a new challenge at...

Sunday Stamps // #SSC299 ...A color challenge!!  Our shades of winter color challenge has golds, pinks, purple, and a hint of navy!!  I not only used the colors but also the photo as my inspiration.  I embossed on image in gold and used water color pencils on my stamp to complete my scene, then I finished it off with a frame and sentiment.  A winter wonderland without any snow...just shades of winter!

I know it is the week of Christmas and everyone is busy with family and festivities, but we would love to see your take on our new color challenge.  Hop on over to our blog and check out what the other design team members have created.  Now, take a little time for some stampin therapy and play along.

Global Design Project // #GDP374 ...A sketch challenge!!  I created a frame using the stitches left behind for my stitched square die for the square element of this sketch.  I love how this wintery scene turned out.

Inspired By Challenges // #IB217 ...A photo challenge!  I love all the cozy wintery grays in this photo.  And even though you can not see it, I am sure she has her hands wrapped around a warm cup of joe!! I loosely used the sketch as well...with one rectangle being the snowflake and the other being the cup of joe!!

Paper Craft Crew Challenge #498

 Today's project was inspired by 1 challenge...

Paper Craft Crew // #PPC498 ...A color challenge!!  The color combo for this challenge: Pacific Point, Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay, Real Red, and Crumb Cake.  I used this combo to create gifts for group of girlfriends...a "welcome" magnet that has 12 images (one for each month of the year) to be used as the "O". 

I packaged them in a Altoids tin...gotta love re-purposing!!  We had a fun little Christmas party and they loved their gifts.

Never Been Used Schtuff // #NBUS45 ...A "never been used" challenge!!  The set from Newton's Nook just arrives and this stamp is being inked for the first time!!  It is part of a Christmas set but when you color it just right it works perfect all year long for a birthday card!!

Hand Stamped Sentiments // #HSS404 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch was perfect for showcasing my new set of stamps from Newton's Nook.  I added the sentiment circle and the cut out presents but the sketch was truly an inspiration!!
