What a Beautiful Blessing You Are...

 Today is my one and only sister's birthday!!  What a beautiful blessing she is to me!!  This card was made for her and it was inspired by 4 challenges...

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge // #AHSC544 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch was the starting point for today's card and it worked perfectly with 3 other challenges that I used.

Addicted to Stamps & More // #ATSM455 ...A technique challenge!!  Use either die cuts or stencils.  I decided to use die cuts for today's card.

Hand Stamped Sentiments // #HSS423 ...An inspiration challenge!!  Let the collage of photos they have grouped together be your inspiration.  My inspiration was the textured pumpkins and the color combination.

INKspirtional Challenges // #IC299 ...A CAS challenge with an optional movie twist.  I picked a Hallmark movie...October Kiss.  Pumpkin spice and everything nice...the perfect time of year for romance to be in the air!!  You know...those bonfires, crisp cool weather perfect for cuddling, leaves are falling, and hearts are warming!!  Pure romance!!

Try Stampin On Tuesday // #TSOT625 ...A sketch challenge!!  A sketch challenge is always a good starting place for a card.  From there you can add in other challenges to finish it off.  This sketch was perfect for showcasing my pumpkin that I made using my oval punch.

Global Design Project // #GDP413 ...A color challenge!!  The colors called for in this current challenge are Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze, and Basic Black.  A perfectly fall color combo.

Paper Craft Crew Challenge // #PCC537 ...A tic-tac-toe challenge!!  My winning three in a row on this game board are pumpkin, rhinestones, and embossing...down the left side of the board for the win!!

Colorful Options // SEPT2023 ...A color challenge!!  ORANGE!!  This is the color called for during the month of September.  Since the first day of Fall is in September it is the perfect month to be creating all things pumpkin spice...I mean to use the color orange!!

ABC Christmas Challenge // 13SEPT2023 ...An alphabet Chrsitmas challenge!!  T is for three of a kind.  How about 3 mugs??  Three mugs of merry minty mocha cheer!!  And there you have 3 adjectives that begin with M!!

Just Us Girls // #JUG698 ...A CAS challenge with a sports theme!!  So...a clean and simple soccer card is what you get!!

Addicted to CAS // #247 ...A code word challege!!  The code word for this challenge is MASK!!  I decided to use the MASK technique on today's card. Maybe I will come back with a MASK in the noun form instead of the verb form...we will see?!?

Alphabet Challenges // 22SEPT2023 ...An alphabet challenge!!  M is for monochorme!!  Night of Navy is my monochromatic color of choice for this card.

Cupcake Inspirations // #CI578 ...A cupcake inspired challenge!!  These plaid cupcake cups reminded me that I had washi tape that would match...and I had both the black & white and the red & black!!

Inspired By // #IB265 ...A photo inspired challenge!!  They also give us an optional sketch with each challenge.  I decided to use both elements for today's card.  Stay out of the way, we have acorns falling!!

New Challenge @ Shopping Our Stash // #SOS506

 

Today begins a new challenge at...

Shopping Our Stash // #SOS506 ...A "use from your stash" challenge!!  For this challenge we want you to "COLOR ME BEAUTIFUL"!!  Use some type of coloring medium on your card.  For me I used watercolor pencils...three shades of yellow pencils to be exact.  My watercolor pencils have been part of my stash for many years...I think they are my favorite coloring medium.  From my stash I also used retired designer papers and retired twine.

Caffeinated Christmas Challenge // #CCCC21 ...A Chirstmas + Coffee + Candy challenge!!  I love peppermint with my coffee and not only at Christmas...any time works for me!!  These cute little mice have me in mind as they brew up a minty cup of joe!!  The peppermint sticks are me candy element called for in this current challenge.

Never Before Used Schtuff // #NBUS54 ...A "never been used" challenge!!  This card included several never been used items.  1st is the stamped mice image from Colorado Craft Company.  This stamp is getting inked for the first time on today's card.  2nd, I bought these peppermint stick embellishments this weekend at Hobby Lobby with this card in mind.

Update:  This cute coffee card was given special mention over at the Caffeinated Christmas challenge!!  Thanks to the team for a shout out on my mischievous mice card.

Color Throwdown Challenge // #ctd761 ...A color challenge!!  The color combination for this challenge is orange, navy, mustard and aqua.  A perfect color combination for playing with my new stencil from A Colorful Life Designs.  I used this same stencil yesterday...just had to play with it a little bit more!!

Simply Clean & Simple // SEPT2023 ...A CAS challenge!!  Clean and simple while using a stencil!!  I am having so much fun playing with this new stencil I just got in the mail.

Paper Craft Crew Challenge // #PCC536 ...A sketch challenge!!  I used some liberties with this sketch and allowed my stencil waves to be the horizontal lines and my sentiment ended up being bigger than I planned so it got placed across it at an angle instead of at the bottom of the circle.

Color Throwdown Challenge // #ctd761 ...A color challenge!!  The colors called for in this current challenge: orange, navy, mustard, aqua!! I used Stampin Up's Tangerine Tango, Night of Navy, More Mustard, and Tempting Turquoise.

Never Before Used Schtuff // #NBUS54 ...A "never been used" challenge!!  What do you have that has never been used?  It could be something that  you have that is collecting dust or it could be that brand new item that is getting used for the first time.  Today it is a brand new item...a new stencil from A Colorful Life Designs!!

This sentiment is usually used with wintery seasonal card but when you live in Florida you can use it with sun, sand, and surf!!

Jingle Belles // #JB2320 ...A year round Christmas challenge!!  For this challenge we are to be inspired by a favorite Christmas movie.  Mine...any Hallmark Christmas movie fits the bill on this one.  But I picked Let It Snow as the inspiration for my card.

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge // #AHSC543 ...A sketch challenge!!  Another fun sketch from the Atlantic Hearts design team...a perfect starting point for this snowflake card.  I used snowflakes in place of the flowers and heat embossed my "let it snow" sentiment.

TicTacToe Challenge // #tttc227 ...A game board challenge!!  My winning three in a row on this tic-tac-toe game board: twine (naturals hemp), embossing (heat embossed my "let it snow" sentiment), and patterned paper (striped Bashful Blue designer paper).
