Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge // #AHSC618 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch had me thinking about a fence row and right away thought about the new pack of paper that I just got from Stampin Up...I love all the fantastic woodgrains in this pack.

INKspirational Challenges // #IC335 ...A "moodboard" challenge!!  My inspiration from this mood board...the wood grain, the purple & aqua color combo, the hello sentiment, and the little bitty flowers.

Alphabet Challenge // 21FEB25 ...An ABC challenge!!  W is for Wings!!  Dragonflies are my favorite winged creatures...there is just nothing quite like watching them in the wild.  I especially love it when one follows me while kayaking.  The sunshine off their wings is just beautiful.

Never Before Used Schtuff // #NBUS71 ...The NBUS blog doesn't give challenges but offers a great place to show off those items that have never been used...whether they are brand new (like today's item) or items that you have had for a while but haven't gotten around to using them yet.  Today I am using designer paper from Stampin Up...this pack of woodgrain papers is just fantastic!

CAS Colours & Sketches // #554 ...A sketch challenge!!  This duo of circles was perfect for showcasing this new stencil I just got off Amazon from Hosomono.

Allsorts Challenge // #AC817 ...An "anything goes" challenge with an optional twist!!  SHADES OF BLUE is the optional theme for this current challenge and I did use it.  This plaid paper from Stamping Up was perfect for displaying shades of blue.

Never Before Used Schtuff // #NBUS71 ...The NBUS blog doesn't give challenges but offers a great place to show off those items that have never been used...whether they are brand new (like today's items) or items that you have had for a while but haven't gotten around to using them yet.  Today I am using a new stencil from a pack that was just delivered.

As You See It Challenge // #AYSI342 ...A theme challenge!!  BIRDS is the theme for this current challenge!!  As soon as I saw the challenge I knew I wanted to play with this new Friendly Seagulls set from Stampin Up's Sale-A-Bration event.

Alphabet Challenge // 21FEB25 ...An ABC challenge!!  W is for Wings.  This sassy little seagulls are all about spreading their wings!!

Shoppping Our Stash // #SOS542 ...A "shop your stash" challenge with a theme!!  ONE IS THE LONELIST NUMBER is the theme for our new challenge that begins today...this means we want to see single layer cards.

#SOS542 // Single Layer Card

I was gifted this Stampin Up set by a design team bestie when I placed an order with her and it worked perfect for creating a single layer card and it is the newest member of my stash.  I colored in the blooms only using an aqua painter pen with Stampin Up's Night of Navy and Marina Mist inks.  There you have it...one layer, clean & simply, with basic stamping and coloring!!

Love Those Pretty Papers // FEB25 ...A designer paper challenge!!  I used from my stash of Valentines papers that is just about used up...a much of little left over pieces that was perfect for completing the above sketch.

Simply Clean & Simple // FEB25 ...A monthly clean and simple challenge with a theme!!  LOVE//HEARTS is the theme for the month of February!!

Card #1 was inspired by 2 challenges...

Just Us Girls // #JUG763 ...A "mood board" challenge!!  This mood board is a hodge podge of color and fun!!  My inspiration from the board was the colors and the tab in the upper right-hand corner.

Can You Handle The Pressure // 22FEB25 ...An embossing challenge with an optional twist!!  The twist for this current challenge is MASCULINE!!  I did use the twist as I was making this card for my nephew who is turning 3, and I included 2 different embossing folders.

Card #2 was inspired by 2 challenges...

The Paper Funday Challenge // #TPFC73 ...An "anything goes" challenge with a twist!!  The twist for this challenge is a color challenge, and the colors for the challenge are Burgundy, Pink, and Sage!!

Freshly Made Sketch // #FMS674 ...A sketch challenge!!  I wasn't sure how to make that curve, but then decided that torn piece of card stock would do the job!!

Color Hues // #TCH104 ...A color challenge!!  The duo of colors called for in this challenge are coral and yellow.  I used Stampin Up's Calypso Coral and Daffodil Delight...and kraft as my neutral. This color combo made for some yummy looking apples wouldn't you agree??

Inspired By // #IB324 ...A photo inspired challenge!!  My inspiration from the photo...the apples and their coloring!!  This challenge also offers an optional sketch and I used that as well.

Festive Friday Challenges // #FF178 ...An "inspo list" challenge!!  From the 10 elements on the inspo list honoring National Pink Shirt Day, pick 3 to use on your card.  I picked: ink blending (of my apples), ribbon (Calypso Coral satin ribbon), and glossy dots (a trio of dots from Stampin Up).

Can You Handle The Pressure // 22FEB25 ...An embossing challenge!!  I used two different embossing folders to make my basket.  This challenge also offers an optional theme...MASCULINE!!  While this card is very neutral it was made for my pastor to add to his basket of cards. (I keep him supplied with a stash of cards...he is really good about sending out thank you cards!!)

A 2 Card Saturday

 Card #1...2 challenges inspired today's 1st card...

Jingle Bells // #JB2504 ...A year-round Christmas challenge with a theme!!  The theme for this current challenge is "a see-through element"!!  I used snowflake printed vellum for my see through element and created a shaker card using Stampin Up's Christmas Tree die from their Winter Woods bundle.

ABC Christmas // FEB25 ...A monthly Christmas challenge that follows the alphabet!!  C is for CUTE & D is for DIE CUTS.  I used this cute little mouse (from Colorado Craft Company) that is super excited for Christmas to roll back around, and a Christmas tree die cute to create my shaker card.

So sorry that my Merry Christmas sentiment in gold doesn't show up that great in my photo...to much reflecting off that glossy golden sentiment...in real life it looks great!!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge // #AHSC617

...A sketch challenge!!  I was having fun playing with my new stamps (Terrific Toadstools) from Stamping Up and ended up making this card using just one challenge.  I I kept seeing cards made with these stamps and just had to have them but I have been struggling using them...I'll keep working at it!!

Update:  Thanks to the Atlantic Hearts design team for the shout out on my mushroom card!!  What an honor to be chosen as on of the "top 3" for this sketch challenge!!

Allsorts Challenge // #AC817 ...An "anything goes" challenge with an optional theme!!  The optional theme for their current challenge is "shades of blue".  I used Stampin Up's designer paper in two different plaids of blue to add shades of blue to my mostly white card.  I also used Stampin Up's Sale-A-Bration Friendly Seagulls stamp set for my cute little seagull thief!!

Just Add Ink // #JAI739 ...A "choose two" challenge!!  Of the three elements given, chose two to use on your card.  I picked embossing and coloring.  I embossed my tag, used an aqua marker and gray ink to color the wings, and a ultra fine marker to color the beak, feet, and french fries.

Never Before Used Schtuff // #NBUS71 ...The NBUS blog doesn't give challenges but offers a great place to show off those items that have never been used...whether they are brand new (like today's items) or items that you have had for a while but haven't gotten around to using them yet.  Today I am using a brand new embossing folder from Stampin Up along with one of the seagulls from one of their Sale-A-Bration sets.  While I have used the other gulls in this set this is the first time I have inked up this little french fry thief!!
