Guest Designer @ Double Trouble Challenges #193

Today I get to be a guest designer at...

Double Trouble Challenges // #193 ...A Thing 1, Thing 2, and Thing 3 challenge!!  Thing 1 wants us to follow a "my guy" recipe...3 layers, 2 different designer papers, and 1 sheet of Kraft...CHECK!!  Thing 2 wants us to use the sketch from Try A Sketch On Tuesday #672...CHECK!!  The two challenge blogs have partnered up and you can also play along with them...check out their sketch challenge here.  Thing 3 wants us to make a card that represents "my guy" and how he likes to spend his free time...CHECK!!  My guy loves to fish, so here is a "happy retirement" card with a fishing theme.

Thanks to the team at Double Trouble for giving me the opportunity to be a guest designer with them.  I hope you will join the fun and play along with us!!  Hop on over to their blog for all the details on this new challenge that begins today.

3 other challenges inspired today's card...

Just Us Girls // #JUG778 ...A technique challenge!!  DIE CUTS with layers...that is the technique for this current challenge.  I used Stampin Up's Best Catch bundle for today's card and layered it up on some fun designer papers.

Make My Monday // #MMM253 ...A theme challenge!!  SOMETHING FISHY is the theme for this current challenge!!  This guy is going for the BEST CATCH, but there is something fishy about his fisherman's story...as is always the case!! LOL

TicTacToe Challenges // #tttc212 ...A game board challenge!!  My winning three in a row on this tic-tac-toe game board: die, designer papers, and enamel dots (star shaped).

Card #2 was inspired by 3 challenges...

Freshly Make Sketches // #FMS689 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch was the starting point for today 2nd card.  It was the perfect sketch for showcasing these three challenges.

Addicted to CAS // #284 ...A clean and simple challenge with a "code word"!!  FLORALS is the code word for this current challenge.  I used Spellbinders dies for creating my clean and simple floral arrangement.

Just Add Ink // #JAI754 ...A " just choose two" challenge!! From the three elements given (die cut / flower / ribbon) pick two to be used on your card. I picked die cut & flower for today's card.

  3. Nice interpretation of the TSOT sketch with our 3-2-1 recipe at DTC... the complementary patterned papers with the Kraft-like color go so nicely together. Thanks for being our Crazy Cousin for the month of June.
