New Challenge @ Cardz 4 Guyz #C4G374

Today begins a new challenge at...

Cardz 4 Guyz // #C4G374 ...A masculine challenge with a theme!!  SEASHELLS is the theme for this new challenge that begins today.  I love this seashell embossing folder from Stampin Up and it works perfectly for creating a masculine card.  This card was made for a friend whose mom just got moved into hospice care.  Having just been through this journey with my dad, I know it is a rough road!!

#C4G374 // Seashells

What do you have in your craft room that would follow our seashell theme and make a great masculine card??  We can't wait to see it!!  Hop on over to our blog for additional inspiration from the rest of the design team and for all the details about today's new challenge.

3 other challenges inspired today's card...

Little Red Wagon // #LRW810 ...A theme challenge!!  The theme for this current challenge is "See Through It".  I used a piece of printed vellum for my "see throught it" element.

Never Before Used Schtuff // #NBUS75 ...A showcasing blog for those "never been used" items.  Whether it is brand new and just being used for the first time or an oldie that has been over looked.  I am inking up this sentiment stamp from My Favorite Things for the very first time.

Word Art Wednesday // #702-703 ...An "anything goes" challenge with a scripture verse to inspire us!!  2Timothy 2:1 is the verse given for this challenge.  It reminds us to be strong in the grace of Christ.  I'll include this verse to the inside of my card...encouragement to him to be strong as he walks this hospice journey with his mom.

  2. The dies you have use are so wonderful. What a great idea to put your sentiment on the vellum. Thanks so much for joining us at Little Red Wagon Challenge this week!

  3. Deb, this card is so very cool! I love how you've torn the paper to resemble to sea (at least that's what I think of when I see it). And you've done a great job on making a masculine card using shells. I will have to put on my creative thinking cap and hopefully participate in that one. I'm sorry for your friend, but a card will certainly cheer her up. As guest designer over at Word Art Wednesday I just wanted to stop over and say thanks for playing along with us this round! We appreciate your talents!

  4. This is so heartfelt and lovely, Deb, even more so because you've walked this journey yourself. Thank you for inspiring everyone to use their NBUS! Hugs, Darnell
