A Leafy Thank You

3 challenges inspired today's card...

As You See It Challenge // #AYSI355 ...A "speed" challenge with a theme!!  The theme for this current challenge is LEAVES!!  What does it mean to be a "speed" challenge...make a card in under 10 minutes!!  I am not totally sure the exact time because at about 5 minutes I got interrupted with a knock on the door and when I came back the timer was at 2 hours and 45 minutes!!  But it was under 10 minutes because I was almost done when I left.

The Paper Players // #PP752 ...A sketch challenge!!  This clean and simple sketch was perfect for creating the "speed" card mentioned above.

Addicted to Stamps & More // #ATS&M500 ...A technique challenge!!  Use dies and/or stencils...I used a Tim Holtz die on today's card.

  1. Haha, sometimes we all get interrupted in our stamping! Glad you were able to get this fun leafy card finished in under 10 minutes AND using the PP sketch! Thanks for playing with both challenges!

  2. I'm so impressed that you got finished within 30 minutes. It usually takes me that long to decide which image I'm going to use :-). I love these colors together. Lime green is one of my favorite colors and I swear your card reminds me of a pair of trousers I had in these same colors in the early 70s!!! I love that the hatching on the background is echoed with the etching on the leaves! Fabulous take on the sketch this week. So glad you shared this with us at the Paper Players

  3. I hope the knock on your door was for a good reason! The DSP you've chosen is lovely as it give the illusion of texture while being bright and cheerful. The leaf is so nice with the little details. Great combination of challenges. Thank you for sharing at The Paper Players and joining in with my speed challenge at As You See It. :-)

  4. Deb, that background is fabulous! I love the colour and texture and it's perfect for that caramel leaf! That must have been some knock on the door, not getting you back in the craft room for 2 hours!! I hope it was a good interruption, not a bad one! Thanks for getting your adrenaline pumping for our speed challenge at As You See It!
