The As You See It challenge this week was to create a card showing what brings you holiday joy. The first thing I thought of was family but I was struggling with stamps to create a card that represented that so.....Stampin Up's Beachy Little Christmas came to mind!!! I love seashells instead of snowflakes, I love taking the boat out when our kids comes to visit from Chicago and NewYork, I love sitting in a beach chair watching the sunset instead of sitting inside in front of a fireplace. Yep...a beachy Christmas brings me joy!!
3 Gifts Challenge: (using Ann Voskamp's 1000 gifts daily prompts) 3 gifts frosted...Sugar cookies!! My hair--I get asked all the time "who colors your hair? the frosting is perfection"--Natural perfection from my Maker!! Cupcakes made by my dear friend Donna--no one does them quite like her!! Say a prayer for her today if you get a moment...she is half way through her chemotherapy for breast cancer and this last treatment really took a lot out of her!! She could use a super natural boost about now!!
