Twofer Challenge...two card...two different occasions...using same stamps, dies, or stencils. And the theme this go round...BALLOONS!! I used my balloon punch. One the one card used them as balloons and on my other card I used the balloon punch to create petals!! I also used the stamp and die from Stampin Up's Number of Years set...cutting the one and using one as a whole piece. On my balloon card I also used the color combo from the Paper Players team ( #PP528 )...Pink, Silver and Black.
With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love
EPHESIANS 4:2 (KJV)
The shade of pink with the silver, black and white is a lovely combo and I love the texture on the background. So glad you shared this fabulous card with us at the Paper Players this week

You've created two fabulous cards. One with balloons and one with balloons turned into petals. Great idea. Birthday card is perfect CAS using only grey and pink. Big flower on the sympathy card is nicely done. I like the use of the baner with the sentiment on the second card too. Thank you for playing at Twofer Card Challenge. Sonja, DT
ReplyDeleteThese are great designs using your punch, Deb! Your birthday card has everything it needs to make it a party: balloons with shimmer, textured background, and fabulous sediment banner! And turning your balloon into flower petals for your sympathy card is amazing! The Ikat background pattern and coordinated pp for your petals is very nice. Thank you so much for playing in TCC #35! Keep safe and well! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteThat's so clever. I can't believe you used the same punch. I love how different these are. Love Dawn x
ReplyDeleteTwo FABULOUS cards using the balloon punch Deb! Love the more subtle colors on your birthday card...the balloons still make it look festive but yet elegant! And turning your balloons into petals for your sympathy card is awesome...love it!! Thanks so much for sharing with us at The Twofer Challenge! :0)
