Two cards for 3 challenges...
Twofer // #37 // Leaves ...A two for one challenge! Use the same stamp, die, or stencil to create two different designs for two different occasions. I used the "leaves" stamp from Stampin Up's Sheltering Tree set....one the one card as actual leave and on the second card as a background for my gold embossed Queen Anne's Lace.
As You See It // #aysi248 ...A sketch challenge! The sketch this time is super simple and one to save for later!!
Just Us Girls // #JUG580 ...A color challenge! The color combo for this challenge is berry, yellow, and coral. I used Stampin Up's Rich Razzleberry, So Saffron, and Calypso Coral. A perfect combination for a fall tree!!
Two AWESOME and different cards DJ, using the leaves from The Sheltering Tree stamp set (still one of my favorite SU! sets!!). Your thinking of you card is just lovely in all it's glorious fall colors, and your wedding card is SO pretty using the leaves as a background for your Queen Anne's Lace...great way to use that leaf stamp in a non traditional way! Thanks so much for sharing both these beauties with us at The Twofer Challenge!! :0)
ReplyDeleteLove how you used that stamp set to create these two beautiful cards! The colors on both look fabulous. Thanks for playing with Just Us Girls!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Twofer with leaves DJ. First card is wonderful in autumn colors. On the second card you've used the leaves perfectly as a background for lovely flowers. Thank you for joining us at TCC #37. Sonja
ReplyDeleteTwo great takes on the sketch. I love the autumn colours = that tree matches pretty much perfectly with what I'm seeing outside my kitchen window right now. Thanks for playing along with us at As You See It Challenge.
ReplyDeleteTwo great cards, Deb! I love the beautiful tree and how you used the leaves on your second card as a background for your pretty flowers! Thank you for playing in TCC #37! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteI'm in awe of just how many different ideas there are out there. Those leaves make a great backdrop and that's an inventive way to use them. Your conventional tree is beautiful. Alison, Twofer GD
ReplyDeleteTwo great cards for this challenge, dj! I'd almost forgotten about the Sheltering Tree stamp set, but my favourite has to be the Queen Anne's lace and the contrasting colours you've used there! Thanks for using our sketch for your layout for As You See It Challenges.
ReplyDeleteLove that autumnal tree DJ - so rich! Thanks for playing with us over at As You See It this week!
ReplyDeleteLove how you used this stamp for two different cards, very clever! I love anything autumnal, and your tree is beautiful! And the verse "matches" it nicely! Thanks for playing with our sketch this week at As You See It!
