As You See It #254 // INKspirational #243 // TGIF #325 // Just Add Ink #563

 2 cards for 4 challenges...

1st Card...

As You See It // #AYSI254 ...A sketch challenge!! This sketch called for a focal point.  For my focal point I used a retired die from Stampin Up...two of them layered with an offset.  I can't remember which set it was from but it has been a favorite of mind and I just haven't been able to part with it.

INKspirational Challenges // #243 ...A photo challenge!! This photo with all it's busy greenery made me think of this retired designer paper from Stampin Up that I had in my stash.  And the navy and green color combo seemed perfect for a wedding card...here is to the new Mr. & Mrs.!!

2nd card...

TGIF Challenges // #tgifc325 ...A theme challenge!! Vacation Vibes is the theme for this current challenge!!  Nothing says vacation like a chair in the sand with sun rays beating down on you!!

Just Add Ink // #JAI563 ...A sketch challenge!!  I used a torn edge to separate the top and bottom of the sketch...I love torn paper for making beach scenes.

VERSE OF THE DAY

Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?

  2. Love your take on this week's TGIF theme! That scene makes me wish I was sitting there on that beach! I especially love how you added the effect of the suns rays shining down! Thank you so much for joining in with the TGIF Challenges team! We look forward to having you again! 💖

  3. Really lovely DJ. It's got an old-worlde, vintage kind of feel to it that's really appealing. It is a great die cut and offsetting it like that makes it pop even more. Thanks for joining in with us again at As You See It Challenge.

  4. Lovely folk art vibe, dj! I like the way you sponged the dark ink around the edge of the center panel. It created the impression of a framed image! Thanks for playing along with us at As You See It Challenges.
