Third Wedding Invitation to Become a Wedding Card

Another wedding card made from an invitation...

3 challenges inspired today's card...

TGIF Challenges // #tgifc359 ...A sketch challenge!!  I missed the linky cutoff but wanted to give credit where credit is due!! This sketch was perfect for the elements I wanted to use from my cousins wedding invitation to make their wedding card.

As You See It // #AYSI270 ...A theme challenge!! Spring is in the air!!  Flowers are blooming!!  So true!!  And that means lots of weddings!!  In 8 days we have had 4 wedding events...3 weddings and a rehearsal dinner!!

Tic Tac Toe Challenge // #tttc153 ...A game board challenge!! My winning three in a row run across the bottom of the game board...button (from the invite), faux stitching (stitched rectangle die), flowers (floral die).

I have had so much fun making wedding card from the bride & groom out of their wedding invitation.  This will be a new trend for me.  If you would like to see the two others that I have done recently you can check them out here and here.

  2. What a clever idea, dj, making a wedding card from the invitation! I'm sure the bride and groom will treasure it all the more! That ribbon and sealing wax (I think) is really elegant. Thanks for joining us at As You See It Challenges!
