2 challenges inspired today's card...
As You See It // #AYSI277 ...A speed challenge!! Create a card in under 10 minutes and make it a belated birthday card. I finished my card in 9.5 minutes!! I did have my mask cut out ahead of time...this set has several masks pre-cut and stored in the case.
Color Hues // #TCH43 ...A color challenge!! The color duo for this challenge is blue and green. Sky and grass...that was what popped into my mind when I saw the colors called for.

Perfect, DJ! I always do this, too, store any masks I've made in the case with the set, lol. LOVE this design - this is how I think of lighthouses - seeing them over a grassy knoll - and great sentiment! Thanks so much for playing at As You See It!
ReplyDeleteLove this, DJ! What a clever idea to keep your masks with the set. Each time I painstakingly cut out a mask I mean to keep it but it somehow never happens. It will probably get easier when I'm using masking paper rather than post-it notes! Thanks for sharing this with us at As You See It Challenge.

ReplyDeleteDJ, I agree that precut masks are the way to go, save in your stamp case. I often do that, too, not just for speed stamping! What a really like about your design is the black and white lighthouse against the green grass and the blue sky - man-made vs nature! Well done! ReplyDeleteWhat a beauty! I am a sucker for lighthouses in real life and lighthouses on cards! I also learned a new tip - I throw my masks out but now I am rethinking that! The color challenge was perfect with this image and whoever receives this card will be happy you missed their birthday in order to get this! Thanks for playing along with As You See It!
