Today begins a new challenge at...
Cardz 4 Guyz // #C4G307 ...Today begins a new challenge over at the Cardz 4 Guyz blog and we want to see your masculine cards in FALL COLORS!! The design team has some great examples to inspire you, so hop on over to our blog for some additional inspiration.
Fall Colors #C4G307 |
For my card I used not only fall colors but some leaves as well. This challenge is perfect for creating a get well card for a guy friend who needs some encouragement. No one wants to be laid up this time of year...to beautiful to have to be inside.
1 other challenge inspired this card...
Fusion // #10.13.22 ...A fusion challenge!! Use the photo or the sketch, or fuse them together to create a FUSION!! I used both but took a little liberty on the sketch.
When you just had a show and need to replenish your stash for another show this weekend, you make one card for each challenge instead of combining challenges!!
Card #2 inspired by...
Just Add Ink // #JAI625 ...An inspiration challenge!! This photo had me pulling out Stampin Up's Beautiful Bouquet for the tulip stamp. The colors had me pulling out Stampin Up's Real Red, Crushed Curry, Highland Heather, and Garden Green. I love how bright and springy it turned out, a welcome change to all the fall colors that have been scattered on my desk.
As You See It Challenges // #AYSI285 ...A color challenge!! Starry Sky, Parakeet Party, Mango Melody, & Basic Black were the color called for in this challenge. I'm sure the intention was a Halloween card but I am over making those so I went with a nautical theme for this color combo. Hope that is okay!?!

No intention at all for the colour challenge, Deb, just the colours and they look lovely, muted a bit and stamped over with this stamp set! I just got this one and I love the way you've used it here! Thanks for getting colourful with us at As You See It Challenges!
ReplyDeleteLove your beautiful bold tulips Deb, such a great take on this weeks inspiration. Thanks for sharing your lovely project at Just Add Ink.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful take on the sketch, and I like how you turned it! Thanks for playing over at Fusion!
ReplyDeleteYour card is lovely! The tulips look amazing, and I love how you've framed the scene with the torn green cardstock. Thanks for sharing with us at Just Add Ink.
ReplyDeleteI love that you showed these colours didn't have to be used for Halloween Deb - I don't often make Halloween cards so am always looking for other options! Your trio of fish look great and I love the embossed background too. Thanks for playing our colour challenge over at As You See It this week!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty lineup of cards! So glad you shared one at Fusion!
