New Challenge @ Shopping Our Stash

 


Today begins a new challenge at...

Shopping Our Stash // #SOS484 ...A theme challenge!!  Shine Bright Like a Diamond is the theme for this new challenge!!  Of course we want you to shop your stash and use up some of those items you have hidden away!!  For my card I used a sun ray stencil along with some bling!!  Now it is your turn, so dig out some bling or anything that shines and play along with us.  If you need some additional inspiration hop over to our blog and check out the shining cards from the rest of the design team.

Today's card was inspired by 2 additional challenges...

Once Upon A Time // #OUAT4 ...A book challenge!!  The book that is our inspiration for this challenge is Dreamers by Yuyi Morales.  From the cover, I used the mother and child image as inspiration, and since I love the dreamy collaged cover, I tried to recreate it as well.


As You See It // #AYSI288 ...A theme challenge!!  I know what you did last summer!!  Well...our biggest vacation surrounded the birth of our grandson!!  Yippie!!  This past summer we made 2 trips to Chicago from Florida all surrounding the birth of our second grandchild...Malachi "Latimer" Babb!! 
We are here again for Thanksgiving, enjoying these sweet little ones!!  Celebrating this season of thanksgiving with their sweet family has been such a joy!!

    Visiting family, especially a grandchild, seems to me to be the perfect excuse for a holiday! The soft rays of the stencil are gorgeous and lead the eye to your family group in the corner - just lovely! Thanks for joining in with us at As You See It Challenge.

    That's what our vacations mostly consist of these days, too, Deb! Visiting the 6 grandkids in various places! Such fun! I love your design with the sun's rays in the background and the colourful flowers overlaid on them and then the Grandma (I assume) and grandbaby in black and white amongst them! It has a bit of surrealism but it's very sweet. Thanks for contributing to our theme at As You See It Challenges.
