Fri-Yay!! 3.3.23

Card #1 inspired by 2 challenges...

Hand Stamped Sentiment // #HSS480 ...A color challenge!!  Another starfish card in these colors but I kept this one a little bit more CAS...unlike the other one I made I only used one circle and did not emboss the background.  Even in this simpler state...I love it!!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge // #AHSC514 ...A sketch challenge!!  I put the starfish on the wrong side and used a circle instead of an oval but I do love the simpleness of this card.

Card #2 inspired by 1 challenge...

As You See It Challenge // #AYSI293 ...A recipe challenge!!  Use all 5 of the ingredients given to us by the team.  The 5 ingredients are distressed paper (I tore the edges), blossoms (a trio of blooms), pearls (used at the centers of my flowers), pink (monochromatic papers in pink...from dark to light), embossing folder (slim line folder from years ago).

Oh...since this is a Mother's Day card with flowers it also qualifies for...

3 "spring time" theme challenges from...

Global Design Project // #GDP383

Inspire.Create.Challenge // #ICC137

Paper Craft Crew // #PCC507

All three of these challenges that I regularly play along with have "spring time" themes right now.  So here is my spring time Mother's Day card.

  7. I really like that torn strip of paper! Especially as you've placed it so that the ombre is a reverse of the floral panel. Very pretty use of the ingredients! Thank you for playing along with us again at As You See It.
