Shopping Our Stash // #SOS495 ...A "use your stash" challenge!! For our new challenge that starts today, we want you to FOLD IT UP!! Use a fancy fold of some sort. I decided to "roof line" fold to create a bird house. My MIL loves birds and I made this card for her for Mother's Day. From my stash, I used these tiny paper flowers that I have had for over 10 years. There are so so so many of them in this little jar. The ultra mini pearls in the center of the flowers finishes of a sheet that has been in my stash for many years...again the sheet had sooo many!! I am kinda sad to have used them all and will have to find them again...those teeny tiny ones are harder to find!! |

Color Hues Challenge // #TCH62 ...A color challenge!! The duo of colors for this challenge: GREEN & PURPLE. I used Stampin Up's Garden Green card stock and some purple paper flowers that I have had in my stash for so long that I can't remember where they are from.
Inspire.Create.Challenge // #ICC ...A technique challenge!! They also have a "fancy fold" challenge!! Great minds think alike!! We get to "kill two birds with one stone" this week!! Yikes...not the best saying with my choice of stamp sets!! Stampin Up's Birds & Branches was the perfect set for this birdhouse card.

Jingle Belles // #JB-23-09 ...A Christmas challenge!! The current challenge is to make a Christmas card with leftovers!! I had this cluster of tiny pieces on my work space...leftovers from my rainbow sentiment card that you can find here. This colorful little pieces seemed like the perfect decoration for a Christmas tree. Wouldn't you agree!?!

That is so cute and I love the idea of a bird house. It's extra special to make it for your MIL. Will you ever use all those flowers? 😄
