On the Pond

4 challenges inspired today's card...

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge // #AHSC584 ...A sketch challenge!!  I did a mini of this sketch since I didn't have that background shape in anything but this punch.  I think it turned out cute and today's card was definitely inspired by this sketch.

FarmQuest Challenges // #FQCB55 ...A farm and country challenge with a theme.  The theme for this current challenge is "things found in a pond or creek".  Frogs, cat-tails, and flowers are all found by the pond!

Cupcake Inspirations // #CI597 ...An "anything goes challenge"!  I was sweet childhood memories of playing in the creek and by the pond!!  Makes me sad that kids today don't make these memories!!

Allsorts Challenge // #AC787 ...A theme challenge!!  The theme for this challenge is "Way to Grow".  The frog, the flowers and the cat tails are all growing and changing!!  I used two retired stamp set bundles from Stampin Up for today's card...A Friend Like You & By the Dock.

Update:
This card was chosen as "top 5" over at the Allsorts Challenge!!  Thanks to the design team for the shout out on my card.

  6. DJ: Thanks for showing this pond scene (also works for creeks) with the frog, cattails and flowers!! Great use of the die-cuts! My maternal grandparents moved to their retirement home in their early 50s when I was about 4.5 years old and "Snag Creek" was the south boundary for their property! I loved exploring along there as a little girl! I'm glad you have similar memories! From FarmQuest, Becca
