The Library Challenge #73...Quiet Please Crafters! You’re in The Library now.  You can be inspired by...The Cover or The Title or The Story!!  This time the book that has been pulled off the shelf is The Night Before Christmas by Clement C Moore. In this version, the famous poem  (originally called A Visit from St Nicholas) has been made into a picture book, illustrated by Antonio Caparo.

Inspired By Challenge 151

Here is my take on the Inspired By Challenge...Brushed On Color!!  I kinda like these non traditional colors!!  I used Stampin Up's Winter Woods bundle for my large tree and their Waterfront set for my background of little trees.  I inked my stamp with several shades to pink to give it that "brushed on color" look. Thank to the Inspired By team for the inspiration!!

#bethegift challenge:  When you hit the stores this weekend...thank as many clerks and store workers as possible!!

TGIF Challenge #291 // Time Out Challenge #175 // Tic Tac Toe Challenge #091

Two challenges inspired this trio of cards...

TGIF Challenge #291...THANKFUL!!  Every November there is a focus on being THANKFUL and like I said yesterday during this time I challenge myself to be more intentional throughout the coming year!!  I challenge y'all to make a set of 12 thank you cards (one for each month), set them aside and mail one out the beginning of each month to someone you are thankful for but they may not realize it!!  It is a small step in being more intentional through out the coming year!!

Time Out Challenge #175...QUICK was the challenge from the Time Out team.  I made this trio of cards very quickly...use three different pieces of designer papers, cut them exactly the same, mix them up so you have one of each of the three papers for each card, layer a large sentiment on top of each, then finish them off with your choice of embellishments of just use as is.  Fun way of making a set of three cards very quickly!!

A another card...this one created for the Tic Tac Toe Challenge.  My three in a row run down the right hand side...Brown//Coffee//Enamel Dots.

TGIF Challenge #291 & Just Add Ink Challenge #532

Two challenges inspired this card...

TGIF Challenge #291...Their current challenge is a theme challenge...Thankful!!  This is the time of year that we all focus more intently on the things that we are thankful for and I enjoy seeing everyone's lists and daily posts!  Each year during this time I challenge myself moving forward to be intentional with my thanks all year not just in November!!  So make several thank you cards for this challenge and send them through out 2021 to someone letting them know you are thankful for them!!

Just Add Ink Challenge #532...A sketch challenge!!  I added a few elements to the sketch...a stamped background and used two offset circles!!  I hope that wasn't too much liberty....cause I love the finished product!!

#bethegift challenge:  Write a note of thanks to your Thanksgiving hosts this year.  Remind them that their time and energy is seen and appreciated.

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #462 & Color Throwdown Challenge #620

I love the combination of a color challenge and a sketch challenge...

Freshly Made Sketches has a fun sketch that calls for a trio of squares...I substituted with snowflakes!!  For the Color Throwdown Challenge I am using Stampin Up's Merry Merlot, Coastal Cabana, and Sahara Sand.  This color combo is sure to bring joy!!  And we could all use a little right now!!

#bethegift challenge:  Share food in a meaningful way today...let your lunch break have meaning!!

Twofer Challenge #33 // CAS Colors & Sketches #397 // As You See It #239 // Mojo Monday #550 //Just Us Girls #563

 Twofer Challenge...Stars

The Twofer Challenge asks us to create two different designs for two occasions using the same stamps, stencils and/or dies...and follow the given theme.  The theme for the current challenge is STARS.
I used the same star stamp on each card and I also used the same die.  The die cuts out 5 stars...I used two on the one card as stars and on the second card I used the other two stars and cut off the tips for trees.  Now a have a forest of gingham Christmas trees!!

This first card was create not only by the Twofer challenge but also for three other challenges.  First, the Just Us Girls color challenge called for Green, Blue, and Purple.  Which was perfect for the second challenge...the As You See It challenge which asked the question..."The color I avoid using most is_____."  Well for me that is purple!!  The third challenge that inspired this card was the Mojo Monday Sketch challenge #mojomonday550.

The second card for the Twofer challenge was also inspired by the color challenge from CAS Colours and Sketches.  Their color combo for the current challenge is Purple Posey, Basic Gray and Blackberry Bliss.  I sponged Blackberry Bliss ink onto each of my Purple Posey gingham tree/star tips, stamped a Blackberry Bliss night sky, and finished it off with some Basic Gray card stock and stamped stars.

#bethegift challenge:
Let someone else take that coveted parking space!!

Here is my take on the Fusion challenge.  Each challenge we are given a sketch along with a photo.  Our challenge is to use one or the other or fuse them together...Fusion!!  For this current challenge I am using both the sketch and the photo.  For today's card I mixed alot of old in with the new...retired stamps and punches from Stampin Up along with their new stamp & punch set, Beautiful Autumn.

Another card...this one for the Color Throwdown Challenge.  Current challenge colors using Stampin Up colors...Rich Razzleberry//Tempting Turquoise//Crumb Cake.  Simple stampin and layering with a little bit of bing!!

Global Design Project #267 // Paper Craft Crew Challenge #402 // INKspirational Challenge #226

 3 challenges inspired today's card...

Global Design Project #267...The current challenge from this team is a theme challenge--Hot Drink!  #GDP267  I have several stamp sets that would have worked for this challenge but in the end these cute little "to go" cups won out.

Paper Craft Crew Challenge #402...A sketch challenge!  #PCC402  I think I say this just about every week when I post my card for their sketch but I just love their sketch challenges...so many pieces and parts!! Like a puzzle!!  They truly inspire me!!

INKspirational Challenge #226...Frame it!! The challenge is frame it!!  I decided this framed tag was a fun way to showcase this challenge.  I have another frame die that has been misplaced...if I find it before the challenge is over I will give it a whirl!!

#bethegift challenge:  Give someone 5 minutes when you don't think you have it but you know they need it!!
