Twofer Challenge #33 // CAS Colors & Sketches #397 // As You See It #239 // Mojo Monday #550 //Just Us Girls #563

 Twofer Challenge...Stars

The Twofer Challenge asks us to create two different designs for two occasions using the same stamps, stencils and/or dies...and follow the given theme.  The theme for the current challenge is STARS.
I used the same star stamp on each card and I also used the same die.  The die cuts out 5 stars...I used two on the one card as stars and on the second card I used the other two stars and cut off the tips for trees.  Now a have a forest of gingham Christmas trees!!

This first card was create not only by the Twofer challenge but also for three other challenges.  First, the Just Us Girls color challenge called for Green, Blue, and Purple.  Which was perfect for the second challenge...the As You See It challenge which asked the question..."The color I avoid using most is_____."  Well for me that is purple!!  The third challenge that inspired this card was the Mojo Monday Sketch challenge #mojomonday550.

The second card for the Twofer challenge was also inspired by the color challenge from CAS Colours and Sketches.  Their color combo for the current challenge is Purple Posey, Basic Gray and Blackberry Bliss.  I sponged Blackberry Bliss ink onto each of my Purple Posey gingham tree/star tips, stamped a Blackberry Bliss night sky, and finished it off with some Basic Gray card stock and stamped stars.
