Today's card was inspired by 2 challenges...
The Paper Players // #PP562 ...A color challenge!! The team gave us three colors and allowed us to pick the fourth...Pumpkin Pie, Pale Papaya, Early Espresso and my pick...Pear Pizzazz. I cut out 5 Pale Papaya ovals and sponged them with Pumpkin Pie ink...embossed my leaf blue print with Early Espresso embossing powder...masked the areas around the leaf and sponged the inside with all the colors...layered my pumpkin with an Early Espresso stem and Pear Pizzazz foliage...finished it off with some more sponging (blueprints are always a smeary mess) and a Early Espresso baker's twine bow.
Update: This card made the "cut above" list on the Paper Players blog!! What an honor...thanks for the shout out!!
Inspired By // #IB191 ...A photo challenge!! My inspiration from this photo...the leaves and the colors!! I just love this time of year with all the changing of the colors and the cooling down of the evening air.
