Double Trouble Challenges // #DTC186 ...A "Thing 1, Thing 2, and Thing 3" challenge!!  Thing 1 wants us to use a recipe...1 sentiment, 2 stencils, and 3 colors green, white and your pick.  Thing 2 wants us to play along with the sketch from Try A Sketch On Tuesday. Thing 3 wants us to include shamrocks.  That is a lot and it made for a busy card but I included it all!!

Try A Sketch On Tuesday // #TSOT665 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch was paired up with the Double Trouble challenge.  As stated above, Thing 2 wants us to use this sketch and link our creation up to both challenges.

Can You Handle the Pressure // 08MAR25 ...An embossing challenge with an optional twist!!  The optional twist for this current challenge is to include SHAMROCKS on your card.  I included embossing as well as shamrocks on today's card.

TicTacToe Challenges // #tttc265 ...A game board challenge!!  My winning three in a row on this tic-tac-toe game board: ombre (I used some Stampin Up ombre paper), green (green papers, ink, glitter, and twine), and layers (layered on some glitter, several layers of paper, and ink).

New Challenge @ Shopping Our Stash #SOS543

 

Today begins a new challenge at...

Shopping Our Stash // #SOS543 ...A "shop your stash" challenge with a theme!!  The theme for this current challenge is to "Think Ink"...Use lots of ink, but NO COLORING. Think sponging, stamping, smooshing, stenciling, brayering, splattering, gel printing.

For my take on this challenge I used Stamin Up's Watercolor Shapes and stamped a background and then spritzed with water.  My main image is just basic stamping using 4 different ink colors.

Stick It Down // MAR2025 ...A monthly FaceBook sketch challenge!!  The Stick It Down challenge offers both scrapbook sketches and card sketches.  This month's card sketch was perfect for showcasing Stampin Up's Watercolor Blocks.  It looks like it was created with those stamps in mind!!

Just Us Girls // #JUG765 ...A birthday & die challenge!!  They want to see a birthday card that uses a birthday themed die!!  How about a birthday sentiment die?!?  Perfect!!  I also used additional dies to finish out my card!!

{PIN}spiraitonal Challenges // MAR2025 ...A Pinterest photo inspired challenge!!  So many shades of green in the photo...so I used multiple shades of green on my card!!  Oh, and a fews flowers too!!

CAS Colours & Sketch // #555 ...A color challenge!!  Lemon Lime Twist, Granny Apple Green, and Berry Burst are the colors called for in this current challenge.  My main image ended up being larger than I thought it would be...covering up more of my white space than intended.  I will try to be back with these colors in another card that is more CAS than this one.

TGIF Challenges // #tgif515 ...A color challenge!!  Fresh Freesia, Summer Splash, and Granny Apple Green are the colors called for in this current challenge!!  A fun springy color combination!!

As You See It Challenge // #AYSI343 ...A "speed" challenge that has us using punches!!  I used a retired butterfly punch from Stampin Up.  This card took me only 6 minutes to finish.  A clean and simple card that is fun, fast, and easy to put together!!

Allsorts Challenge // #AC818 ...An "anything goes" challenge with an optional theme!!  CLEAN & SIMPLE is the optional theme for thus current challenge.  I used all Stampin Up production on today's card.

The Paper Players // #PP728 ...A color challenge!! PASTELS are the color of choice for this current challenge.  I used a rainbow of pastels from Stampin Up to create today's card.

Just Add Ink // #JAI741 ...A "just add" challenge!!  For this current challenge they want us to just add elegance and simplicity.  My thank you card showcases both elegance and simplicity with it soft colors, lots of white space, and sequins

Never Before Used Schtuff // #NBUS72 ...The NBUS blog doesn't give challenges but offers a great place to show off those items that have never been used...whether they are brand new (like today's item) or items that you have had for a while but haven't gotten around to using them yet.  Today I am using new stamps from Stampin Up's Wildflower Design bundle.  They are being inked up for the very first time!!

Hand Stamped Sentiments // #HSS458 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch is clean and simple and perfect for this yummy & sweet birthday card.

Inspired By // #IB326 ...An inspiration challenge!!  My take away from the inspiration photo was the strawberries and the cupcakes!!  This challenge also gives an optional sketch and if you flip the sketch it almost works as well...the square in the middle and the banner flags on each side.

Freshly Made Sketches // #FMS676 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch was perfect for playing with my new seagull stamps!!  I love this sentiment and it fits me perfectly...I be loving me some French Fries!!  So, if I use this sentiment you know I really love you.  This was my hubby's birthday card!! 💝

Allsorts Challenge // #AC818 ...An "anything goes" challenge with an optional theme!!  The optional theme for this current challenge is "clean & simple"!!  I kept this card CAS, leaving lots of white space and using no embellishments...just simple stamping and layering.

Never Before Used Schtuff // #NBUS72 ...The NBUS blog doesn't give challenges but offers a great place to show off those items that have never been used...whether they are brand new (like today's item) or items that you have had for a while but haven't gotten around to using them yet.  Today I am using a new sentiment stamp from Stampin Up's Friendly Seagulls bundle that I got during their Sale-A-Bration event.  I have used the seagulls before but this is my first time using the sentiment stamp...can't just use it on any card because I really love french fries!!

New Challenge @ CAS on Friday #304

 

Today begins a new challenge at...

CAS on Friday // #304 ...A clean and simple challenge with a theme!!  The theme for this new challenge that begins today is WATERCOLORING!!  I used watercolor paper and inks (Crumb Cake & Night of Navy from Stampin Up) to create a watercolor background that I then cut out using a stitched oval die.

Color Hues // #TCH105 ...A color challenge!!  Green and White are the colors called for in this current challenge!!  A perfect color combo for a fern themed card...fern stamps and fern embossing folder.

Time Out Challenges // #TOC283 ...A "CASE the designer" challenge!!  For this current challenge we are asked to CASE a card made by Donna Mikasa.  My inspiration from her card: the sketch and the slanted separation of stamping & embossing.  Happy 11th birthday to Time Out Challenges!!

Make My Monday // 24FEB25 ...A technique challenge!!  The technique being showcased for this challenge is STITCHING!!  It could be real or faux.  I used Stampin Up's stitched rectangle die and added some faux stitching to my card.

TicTacToe Challenges // #tttc265 ...A game board challenge!!  My winning three in a row on this tic-tac-toe board: stripes (stenciled to half of my card), green (I used Stampin Up's Granny Apple Green & Garden Green ink), and foliage (fern foliage both stamped and embossed).

Addicted to CAS // #217 ...A clean and simple "code word" challenge!!  The code word for this current challenge is PET!!  Yes, we used to be one of those weird families who had a pig as a PET!!  

Allsorts Challenge // #AC818 ...An "anything goes" challenge with an optional twist!!  The twist for this current challenge is CAS...Clean And Simple!!  For today's card, I left lots of white space, used basic stamping with Stampin Up's retired Words of Truth & Button Buddies, and basic cutting & layers using designer papers & card stock from Stampin Up.
