CAS Colours & Sketches // #566 ...A clean and simple sketch challenge!!  This sketch was the starting point for today's card and it worked perfectly for including these other challenges.

Alphabet Challenge // 08AUG25 ...An ABC challenge!!  I is for INK BLENDING!!  I used my aqua painter for blending my Cherry Cobbler & Blackberry Bliss on my flower.

The Paper Players // #PP750 ...A color challenge!!  Blackberry Bliss, Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, and Pumpkin Pie are the colors called for in this current challenge.

Addicted to Stamps & More // #ATS&M499 ...An "any occasion" challenge!!  So many occasions call for us to send "happy thought"!!  The occasion for today's card is yet to be decided!!

4 challenges inspired today's card...

Inky Paws Challenge // #243 ...A monthly Newton's Nook challenge!!  For this current challenge they have a sketch for our inspiration.  I used three sheets of designer papers from Stampin Up and cut them exactly they same...be on the look out there will be two more cards to use up the remaining pieces.  I used Seashell Roundabout from Newton's Nook (I cut out the shells) and my seahorses are a mini set from Lawn Fawn.  

Inspire.Create.Challenge // #ICC198 ...A theme challenge!!  The theme for this current challenge...CIRCLES!!  I love this bubble die and all the interlocked circles that it makes...perfect for an underwater card.

Allsorts Challenge // #AC829 ...An "anything goes" challenge with an optional twist.  The optional twist for this current challenge is ANIMALS...I used a pair of seahorses from Lawn Fawn!!

Little Red Wagon // #LRW820 ...A theme challenge!!  BE KRAFTY is the theme...they want to see Kraft card stock on our card.  I stamped Seashell Roundabout from Newton's Nook onto Kraft card stock and cut out the shells that I wanted.

Inspired By Challenges // #IB348 ...An inspiration challenge with an optional sketch!!  Today I used both the "blackberry" inspiration photo and the sketch to inspire this "Berry" thankful card.

Addicted to CAS // #289 ...A clean and simple "CODE WORD" challenge!!  The code word for this current challenge...SQUARES!!  I used Stampin Up's Watercolor Shapes stamp set and stamped the smallest square layered across the middle of my card.

TicTacToe Challenges // #tttc276 ...A game board challenge!!  My winning three in a row on this tic-tac-toe board: die, free, and CAS...corner to corner for the win!!

New Challenge @ Shopping Our Stash #SOS554

 

Today begins a new challenge at...

Shopping Our Stash // #SOS554 ...A "shopping your stash" challenge with a theme!!  HOT! HOT! HOT!  What do you have in your stash that showcases the HOT theme??  Think weather, drinks, food, or fire...so many possibilities!!  I went with a HOT drink...tea time...because "you're my cup of tea"!!  While this stamp set Heidi Swapp is new to my stash all the other elements (papers, ribbon, punches and floral dies) have been in my stash for ages!!

TGIF Challenges // #tgif537 ...A sketch challenge!!  A sketch challenge always pairs up perfectly with a color challenge and a theme challenge...like I did today.

Color Throwdown Challenge // #ctd838 ...A color challenge!!  Hot Pink, peach, and green are the colors called for in this color challenge.  I used Stampin Up's Strawberry Slush, Peek-a-boo Peach, and Always Artichoke.

Just Us Girls // #JUG787 ...A technique challenge!!  Use dies that have a floral theme.  I used the tiny flowers die from Stampin Up's Sweet As A Peach bundle.

Never Before Used Schtuff // #NBUS77 ...The NBUS blog doesn't give challenges but offers a great place to show off those items that have never been used...whether they are brand new or items that you have had for a while but haven't gotten around to using.  Today I am inking up a new stamp from Heidi Swapp that I got as a birthday present from my hubby!!

Love Those Pretty Papers // AUG2025 ...A designer paper challenge with a theme!!  SUMMERTIME!!  That is the theme for this current challenge.  Summertime...butterflies are pollinating and flowers are blooming!!  Not your traditional summertime images but they are truly summer time happenings at my house!!

Just Us Girls // #JUG787 ...A die cut challenge with a theme!!  FLORAL is the theme for this current challenge.  I love these silhouette floral dies...perfect for this week's challenge.

Just Add Ink // JAI763 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch was perfect for pulling these three challenges together.  Thanks for the inspiration.

Freshly Made Sketches // #FMS698 ...A sketch challenge!!  I love the boxy feel of this sketch and it worked perfectly for using up some of my very old designer papers.

Alphabet Challenge // 08AUG25 ...An ABC challenge!!  I is for INK BLENDING!!  I love blending ink to the edges on my designer papers...you will often find this technique on my cards.

Festive Friday Challenges // #FF0190 ...An "inspo list" challenge!!  From the inspo list honoring National Honey Bee Day, use 3 of the 10 elements when creating your card.  CHECK!!  I used yellow, bee, and ink blending.

Never Before Used Schtuff // #NBUS77 ...The NBUS blog doesn't give challenges but offers a great place to show off those items that have never been used...whether they are brand new or items that you have had for a while but haven't gotten around to using.  These designer papers fit the "never been used" element not because they are brand new but because they were still in they 12 x 12 size (never cut) from back in my scrapbooking day.  I discovered a box of papers that had never been unpacked from our move 11 years ago, so they worked perfectly for this NBUS blog.

Cupcake Inspiration // #CI623 ...A cupcake inspired challenge!!  Green & White!!  A springy combination.

We Love Stamping // AUG2025 ...A stamping challenge!!  Ink pads and stamps are needed for this challenge.  I inked up a retired stamp set from Stampin Up.

TicTacToe Challenges // #tttc276 ...A game board challenge!!  My winning three in a row on this tic-tac-toe game board: CAS, sentiment, and embossing.

CAS on Friday // #315 ...A clean and simple challenge with a theme!!  BABY...a sweet theme for a our new challenge.  The birth of a new baby is one of the sweetest wonders.

INKspirational Challenges // #IC347 ...A "mood board" challenge!!  My inspiration from this mood board...the rows of circles and the mix-match of colors!!

Double Trouble // #197 ...A Thing 1, Thing 2, and Thing 3 challenge!!  Thing 1 wants us to follow a "You're in the Spotlight" recipe...3 colors (a mix-match of pinks, reds, and oranges), 2 layers (my circles and my vellum), and 1 spotlight technique (I used printed vellum for creating my spotlight)...CHECK!!  Thing 2 wants us to use the sketch from Try A Sketch On Tuesday #676...CHECK!!  Thing 3 wants us to add butterflies, birdies, and/or blooms  to our card (two wooden butterflies)...CHECK!!

Try A Sketch On Tuesday // #TSOT676 ...A sketch challenge!!  This was a perfect sketch for using the spotlighting technique.  The TSOT team is pairing up with the Double Trouble challenge.

Inspire.Create.Challenge // #ICC198 ...A theme challenge!! CIRCLE is the theme for this current challenge.  How about 9 circles and some circular enamel dots!?!
