A Beautiful Ride....

Today I am playing along with the Library Challenge....use the title, cover, or story from the chosen book to create your card.  Five Weeks in a Balloon by Jules Verne is their choice for challenge #37.  Of course I right away thought of my new Above the Clouds stamp set and matching punch from Stampin Up.  I just love hot air balloon so this set was a must have for me!!

Bloom With Hope

Today I am using a retired set from Stampin Up...Bloom With Hope.  I really like this set and wish it would not have been retired!!  Two challenges inspired this card...a color challenge from Hand Stamped Sentiments and the sketch challenge from Fab Friday.  

3 Gifts Challenge: (using Ann Voskamp's 1000 gifts daily prompts) 3 gifts hanging down...my Bar Harbor wind chime//sweet memories of our 10th Anniversary trip to Maine...ceiling fan//keeping us cool...Eilat stone dangle earrings from our trip to Israel//priceless memories from the Holy Land.

Here is my take on the CAS(E) this Sketch challenge.  All products are from Stampin Up. 

 We had a busy weekend with my in-laws here for a visit so I didn't get much stamping done but we had a great time together!! Time with family is always time well spent!!  

3 Gifts Challenge: (using Ann Voskamp's 1000 gifts daily prompts) 3 gifts of stone...My sapphire & diamond ring...with love from my hubby//stone pavers that we picked out for our bedroom patio...excited for this project to be complete//dumptruck of stone needed to fix our driveway...much needed!!

Framed....

Today I am playing along with the "framed" sketch from the Freshly Made Sketches challenge.  This sketch has so many possibilities...I decided to give it a whirl with washi tape!!  I like the way it turned out!!


Materials used: Stampin Up's Happy Birthday die and washi tape...Verve's cup cake stamp...Cardstock and ink also from Stampin Up

Relax Your Way!

CITRUS!! That is the cue card from CASology!!  What says citrus more than a glass of limeade, lemonade or orange juice.  Take your pick today!!  I used the Colorful Seasons stamp set and matching dies to create today's card.  I even included a slice of citrus in each glass by stamping the "slice" onto my inked glass before stamping onto the paper.  This technique removes just enough ink to leave a subtle image.  Happy stamping!!

I am back!!!

Wow!! It has almost been a month since I have created and posted!!  I just got in a funk and had no creative juices flowing.  But this morning I decided it was time to start creating again.  So...here is my take on the sketch challenge from CAS(E) this Sketch.  I am using the anchor stamp and matching die from Stampin Up's Sailing Home set.
