Today's card was inspired by 2 challenges...

The Paper Players // #PP606 ...A sketch challenge!!  I know the sketch said any shape, but I liked it with a coffee cup!!  So, out came my Cozy Cup set!!

Inspire.Create.Challenge // #124 ...A color challenge!!  We were given 5 colors: Real Red, Blushing Bride, Pumpkin Pie, Garden Green, and Mint Macaron.

New Challenge @ Shopping Our Stash

Today begins a new challenge...

Shopping Our Stash // #SOS478 ...A theme challenge!!  Animal Antics!!  What does that mean??  We want you to shop your stash & create a card with animals doing things that humans do.  For my card I picked a frog riding a unicycle.  I love this retired stamp set from Stampin Up...So Hoppy Together.  I have just never been able to part with it and it is perfect for our Animal Antics challenge over at SOS!!  We hope you will hop on over to our blog, check out the other design team creations, shop your stash, and play along with us!!

Try Stampin On Tuesday // #TSOT570 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch challenge was the perfect partner for our SOS challenge!!  The fact that they suggested bugs as an optional twist sealed the deal!!

INKspirational Challenges // #272 ...A word prompt challenge!!  ROTATE!!  That is exactly what a unicycle does...that one wheel just rotates and rotates!!

TGIF Challenges // #tgifc383 ...A "what would you do" challenge!!  So, what would you do without white card stock??  Me, I would use kraft as my base and designer papers!!  No white paper on today's second card, and you know what??  I love it!!  Turned out great!!  It can be done without white card stock!!

Card #3 inspired by 1 challenge...

Just Add Ink // #JAI618 ...A color challenge!!  The trio of colors for this challenge...Old Olive, Pacific Point, & Crumb Cake.  By now yall know any color combo that remotely suggests the ocean...I am gonna run that direction with it!!  I am a sucker for the beach, the sea, the sand, the aquatic creatures, and all things nautical!!

Update:  This card got an "honorable mention" from the design team over at Just Add Ink.  Here is what the DT had to say....A fun modern Ocean scene!  A sweet nautical card.  Lovely clean and simple card.

Just Us Girls // #JUG647 ...A photo challenge!!  BACK 2 SCHOOL!! A great challenge for using these school stickers I had in my stash.

Make the Cards // #62 ...A theme challenge!! The theme for this challenge is school/teacher.  Listen, teachers need our prayers!!  I took a job in the school system this year...I was not prepared for what I found!!  Pray for all teachers and send them cards of encouragement.

Festive Friday // #FF0116 ...An inspo list challenge!!  For this challenge we are given a list of 10 words in honor of Grandparent's Day!!  The challenge is to use 3 of the words given in the inspo list on your card.  From the list I picked: plaid, hug, and buttons...I also made it a grandparents card with my sentiment.

Freshly Made Sketches // #FMS550 ...A sketch challenge!!  I like the trio of sections given in this sketch...so many possibilities!!

CAS Colours & Sketches // #484 ...A sketch challenge!!  After glueing these triangles down I was wishing that I had seperated them just a bit some!!

Color Hues // #TCH47 ...A color challenge!!  The color duo for this challenge is mint & chocolate.  At first I was thinking this needed to be an ice cream cone but this geometric cluster won out.

Best Day Ever

Retro Rubber Challenge // #rrcb189 ...A color challenge!!  It is a throw back to the 80's!!  I used Mariana Mist, Flirty Flamingo, and Pear Pizzazz along with Stampin Up's Best Day Ever stamp set.  Retro indeed...cause this set came out in 2015 as a Sale-A-Bration set.  The tiny triangle in this set was perfect for recreating the gnarly 80's pattern that was pictured.

Sketch Saturday // #707 ...A sketch challenge!!  It has been a long time since I played along with Sketch Saturday...fun to play along again!!

Update: Happy Dance!! This card was a top pick over at the Retro Rubber blog!!  It is always a shot in the arm when one of my cards gets a shout out!!

Card #1 inspired by 1 challenge...

Jingle Belles // 8.12.22 ...A Christmas challenge!!  The challenge for this current challenge is to make a slim line card.  I am still looking for a source for slim line card bases and envelopes.  I have asked this question on several occasions when a challenge calls for a slim line card and have yet to have a response.  So I will ask again...where do you get your slim line card bases and envelopes??

Just Us Girls // #JUG646 ...A color challenge!!  The color combo for this challenge is to use teal, yellow, and tan.  This combo calls for another Hippiest Hippo card...cause they are just so stinking cute!!

TicTacToe Challenge // #tttc175 ...A game board challenge!!  My winning 3 in a row on this game board:  polkadots (designer papers), die cuts (stitcher rectangles & Hippiest Hippo bundle) and embossing (wavey folder for background)!!

My card was inspired by 2 challenges...

Make the Cards // #61 ...A color challenge!! The color combo for this challenge is pink, green, orange.  A combo that calls for florals!!   There is not much green but if you look close in the bottom right hand corner you will find it.

As You See It // #AYSI281 ...A recipe challenge!!  Use all 5 ingredients on your card.  The ingredient list is...Bright Colors, Floral Stamp, Water Colors, Patterned Paper, and Die.  I started with some bright colored designer paper, stamped flowers all over it with a floral stamp, added some ink to the center of the large flowers with my aqua painter for my water color element, and finished it off with a die cut sentiment.
