Sketch~N~Scrap // #SNS254 ...A sketch challenge!!  A sketch is a great starting point for planning out your card.  I shrunk it down and framed it in.  Love how it turned out!!

Festive Friday // #FF0148 ...An inspo list challenge!!  From the inspo list of 10 items honoring International Animal Rights Day, choose at least 3 items to include on your card.  My pick from the list: animal print, texture, and animal. 

Retro Rubber Challenge // #rrcb220 ...A tic-tac-toe challenge!!  My winning three in a row on this game board: frame, die, and twine.  This challenge always ask us to us stamps that are at least a year old and my stamp from Stampin Up's Animal Outings came out in 2018.

New Challenge @ Cardz 4 Guyz

 Yesterday began a new challenge at...

Cardz 4 Guyz // #C4G336 ...A masculine challenge with a "Festive Creature" theme.  I picked this cute little penguin and created a scene of him ice fishing.  I wasn't sure it was clear that he was ice fishing so I asked my hubby.  He right away said ice fishing!!  Success!!  He has his sting of fish just about full ready for a holiday fish fry!!

Splitcoast Stampers Sketch Challenge // #SC984 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch was perfect for showcasing my little ice fisherman.  I used printed vellum for my one section of the square.

TicTacToe Challenges // #tttc236 ...A game board challenge!!  My winning three in a row on this game board: layers, die cute, and critters.

Time Out Challenges // #TOC252 ...A theme challenge!! It is a winter/holiday challenge!!  This little peguin all bundled up and fishing for his holiday meal makes for a fun holiday card for my cousin who is always hosting a fish fry...he will love it!!

Just Us Girls // #JUG707 ...A CAS challenge with an "in a circle" theme.  I got this new coffee cup die  and it is a circle...perfect for this challenge!!

Less Is More // #LIM497 ...An alphabet challenge!!  D is for Deck The Halls!!  Nothing like a steaming cup of mocha for decking the halls!!  

Never Before Used Schtuff // #NBUS56 ...A "never been used" challenge!!  This die arrived in the mail while we were away for Thanksgiving.  How fun to have something new to play with this week.

Card #1 was inspired by 3 challenges...

Inspired By Challenges // #IB264 ...An inspiration challenge!!  The inspiration photo for this challenge had a colorful string of lings and some black & white twine, so I included both on my card.  When I saw this photo I right away thought of this box of trimmings being carried in from storage...a fun stamp from Newton's Nook.

Less Is More // #LIM497 ...An alphabet challenge!!  D is for Deck the Halls!!  How fun!!  Can you make a Deck the Halls card that is CAS?  Yes, you can with this fun trimming the tree image.

Never Before Used Schtuff // #NBUS56 ...A "never been used" challenge!!  This image from a Newton's Nook set has never been inked up until today!!  I love this chic carrying the box of holiday trims out of storage...we plan to do that this weekend!!

I must say...I don't think I will ever layer this image again!!  Cutting out those teeny tiny light bulbs was a killer!!

Card #2 was inspired by 3 challenges...

Inspire.Create.Challenge // #ICC156 ...A color challenge!!  Boho Blue, Lemon Lolly, and Moody Mauve.  So many possibilities!!  For me I created a wintery backdrop my my snowflake.

Global Design Project // #GDP422 ...A sketch challenge!!  A fun sketch.  I had created a background layer with the challenge colors for ICC's challenge and decided this sketch was perfect for showcasing it...so instead of using the whole layer, I punched out 4 squares from it.  Thanks for the inspiration!!

Just Add Ink // #JAI680 ...A "just add" challenge!!  For this current challenge we are to "add" alcohol!!  Several of the DT samples had us adding alcohol (as in drinks) images, but I decided to use actually alcohol (as in rubbing alcohol) in my background technique!!

Color Throwdown Challenge // #ctd770 ...A color challenge!!  Dark green, yellow green, and black are the color called for in this challenge.

Freshly Made Sketches // #FMS613 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch was perfect for showcasing this jumbo ribbon that I have been hoarding.  This ribbon has long been retired from Stampin Up but I love it.

TGIF Challenges // #tgif448 ...A theme challenge!!  What is your favorite Christmas song??  O Christmas Tree!!  Actually I love them all...but when it came to making a card, I picked O Christmas Tree.

Retro Rubber Challenges // #rrcb220 ...A tic-tac-toe challenge!!  My winning three in a row are trees (stamped trees & die cut trees), patterned paper (sheet music from an old song book), and ribbon/twine (both ribbon &twine).  This challenge also wants us to use stamps that are over a year old.  My stamped tree came from Stampin Up's Winter Woods set that came out in 2020.

Update: This card was chosen by the Retro Rubber team as a "Top Pick"!!  What an honor!!  I am super excited because in there last challenge my card was also chosen...two challenges in a row!!  What an honor!!

Once Upon A Time Challenges // #OUAT16 ...A monthly challenge inspired by a book!!  The book given to us as our inspiration for November is The Thank You Book by Mo Willems.  The elephant and the pink & teal on the cover were my inspiration.

New Challenge @ Sunday Stamps #SSC323

 Today begins a new challenge at...

Sunday Stamps // #SSC323 ...A color challenge!!  We have given you a color palette of 5 colors and ask that you use at least 3 of the colors given.  For my card I have used the red (stocking in Cherry Cobbler and some rhinestone berries in my greenery), green (greenery in Shaded Spruce), and brown (inked brick and sentiment in Soft Suede).

Time Out Challenges // #TOC252 ...A theme challenge!!  The theme for this current challenge is Winter/Holiday.  Stockings, greenery, holiday trimmings, and happy wishes makes for a perfect wintery holiday card.

INKspirational Challenges // #IC303 ...A theme challenge!!  SEASONAL!!  I picked the winter season with Christmas as my seasonal event.  There is just something seasonal about greenery and stockings that just makes a heart merry!!  Merry Christmas!! 

As You See It Challenges // #AYSI312 ...A theme challenge!!  CHRISTMAS!!  It is the most wonderful time of the year!!  The photo for this theme challenge has all kinds of greenery...seemed fitting to use a swag of greenery on my card.

Try Stampin On Tuesday // #TSOT633 ...A sketch challenge!!  I love how these four panels that make a frame...so many possibilities.  I decided to use up some Christmas paper that I have been hoarding.

Color Hues Challenge // #TCH76 ...A color challenge!!  The color duo for this challenge is Red & Metallic Gold.  I used some red polka-a-dotted paper and some metallic gold cording.  A very Christmasy combination.

Retro Rubber Challenges // #rrcb220 ...A tic-tac-toe game board challenge!!  My winning three in a row on this game board: frame, die, and twine.  Plus for this challenge we are to always use a stamp that is over a year old.  I picked this Tim Holtz sentiment stamp that I have had over 5 years.  JOY to the world!!

INKspirational Challenges // #IC303 ...A theme challenge!!  SEASONAL!!!  I picked winter as my season with Christmas as my event!!  Joyful.Merry.Blessed!!
