Cardz 4 Guyz // #c4g285 ...A masculine challenge using "shades of brown"!!  With Valentine's Day just a few months away decided to get started on my stash.  I think these "shades of brown" worked perfectly for the new challenge that starts today over at Cardz 4 Guyz...we hope you will come play along with us!!

Shopping Our Stash // #SOS459 ...A triple threat challenge!! A trio of something needs to be added to your card.  I have a trio of wooden hearts as well as a trio of panels on my card. I doubled the triple threat!!  The hearts have been in my stash for a long time...picked them up at a wood crafting shop in TN while on vacation. 

Retro Rubber // #rrcb172 ...A sketch challenge!!  Along with the sketch we are suppose to use a stamp set that is over a year old.  The Valentine's sentiment has been in my stash for over 7 years.  The wooden hearts have been in my stash for over 10 years.

INKspirational Challenges // #252 ...A designer's choice challenge!! PLAID is the choice for this challenge!!  Plaid washi tape makes this easy!!

Card #1 was inspired by 1 challenge...

Addicted to CAS // #211 ...A code word challenge!!  The code word for this current challenge is colorful!  I colored in the beanies on each of the owls a different color and then matched the colors with boarder stripes.  Almost as colorful as a box of crayons!!

Card #2 was inspired by 2 challenges...

Color Throwdown // #ctd670 ...A color challenge!! The trio of colors for this challenge...blue, yellow & red. I decked out my little gnome in blue yellow and red.  He looks ready to deck the halls...don't you think?!?

Freshly Made Skethes // #FMS513 ...A sketch challenge!!  I realized after I had my gnome all paper pieced (you know one of those time consuming techniques) that he was much taller than I remembered and not the best choice to represent the circle in the sketch but by then I was committed because of all the time I had spent on him.

Color Hues // #TCH30 ...A color challenge!! The duo of colors for this current challenge...silver and gold!!  The circle collage die is cut out in silver and the snowflake dies are cut out in gold.  Photographing these foil papers are tough...much more beautiful in real life!!

Time Out // #201 ...A quote challenge!!  The quote for this challenge..."Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication" by Leonardo De Vinci.  Simple & sophisticated that is what I have going on with this card.

Today's card was inspired by 1 challenge...

INKspiraitonal Challenges // #252 ...A photo challenge!! This empty chair in black and gold reminded me of a friend who just lost her husband.  This was her first Thanksgiving with his chair being empty so I used the inspiration to make a card for her.

I used gold embossing powder on black card stock...layered that oval onto some metallic gold paper...finished it off with a sentiment and ribbon.

Inspired By // #IB196 ...An inspiration challenge with optional sketch!!  I used both the photo and the sketch but flipped the sketch a bit.  

Global Design Project // #GDP319 ...A theme challenge!! The theme for this current challenge is CHRISTMAS!! 

TicTacToe Challenge // #tttc140 ...A game board challenge!! My winning three in a row are down the left hand side...Plaid (designer paper) Die cut (tree & window) Layers (a total of 4 layers at some places on my card).

The Paper Players // #PP568 ...A CAS challenge with a gnome or fairy theme!!  You just gotta love a Christmas gnome.  This cute little guy is ready to celebrate the holidays, but not his friends...they are all hiding out!!

Just Add Ink // #JAI581 ...A just add challenge!!  This current challenge has us just adding LEGS!!  How about a bunch gnome legs...most of them are hiding out except for this one jolly Christmas guy.
