Make the Cards // #61 ...A color challenge!! The color combo for this challenge is pink, green, orange. A combo that calls for florals!! There is not much green but if you look close in the bottom right hand corner you will find it.
As You See It // #AYSI281 ...A recipe challenge!! Use all 5 ingredients on your card. The ingredient list is...Bright Colors, Floral Stamp, Water Colors, Patterned Paper, and Die. I started with some bright colored designer paper, stamped flowers all over it with a floral stamp, added some ink to the center of the large flowers with my aqua painter for my water color element, and finished it off with a die cut sentiment.
Fantastic card, that is a really neat image, I'm trying to figure out how you did that! Is the outline a die? Good job working with our colors, thanks for playing along at Make the Cards Challenge!
ReplyDeleteWow, DJ, I love this! So dramatic to stamp on that pretty paper, and add even more color and definition! This looks so sophisticated and fresh! Great job! Thanks so much for playing at As You See It!
ReplyDeleteI love how you added all the elements, without making a big deal out of the watercolouring or the die cutting! They are there, but very subtly. The floral and bright colours and patterned paper though - they steal the show! Thanks for cooking up our recipe at As You See It Challenges!
ReplyDeleteWow, that is an awesome card! You managed to put that paper to perfectly use! Big, bright and bold! Thanks for sharing this with us at As You See It this week!
