Paper Craft Crew Challenge #384 & Inspired By #133

Vertical sketch with horizontal scallop rectangle placed in bottom left corner with banner behind.

Yesterday when I was posting my card, I realized that the Paper Craft Crew challenge actually was calling for a VERTICAL sketch.  Since mine was not I decided to post it anyway and to also come back with a card that was correct!!  So here it is...my take two on their vertical sketch challenge.  I am also playing along with the Inspired By challenge.  These peach paper flowers that I have been hoarding seems perfect for this challenge.

INKspirational Challenge #217 & Paper Craft Crew Challenge #384

Vertical sketch with horizontal scallop rectangle placed in bottom left corner with banner behind.Painting or coloring is the challenge from the INKspirationalChallenge team.  This stamp from Stampin Up is one of my favorite flowers to color.  I also thought I was  playing along with the sketch challenge from the Paper Craft Crew team, but I as I was typing up my post I realized the sketch was suppose to be VERTICAL!!  Oh well...I'll make another card and follow the called for instructions a little better!!  Stay tuned!!

Global Design Project #249 & As You See It Challenge #230

So....I had so much fun with this turtle I just had to make another card this morning!!  This little guy from Stampin Up's Whale Done is just the cutest!!  This card was created for the Global Design Project color challenge and the As You See It "speed" challenge.  For the color combo challenge I used the Pool Party ink for the back ground, the Misty Moonlight ink for the turtles, and the Petal Pink ink sponged over the turtles.   The "speed" challenge calls for us to complete our card in under 10 minute...I finished my in 7:49!!  This week we were also suppose to have a trio of something.  My something...a trio of these cute turtles.

Freshly Made Sketches #444 & Color Throwdown Challenge #602...Cardz 4 Guys too!

Nothing pairs better than a color challenge and a sketch challenge!!  That is what I am doing today...using the color challenge from the Color Throwdown team and the sketch challenge from the Freshly Made Sketches team.   The color combo this week is peach, green, blue and gold.  I am using Stampin Up's Peekaboo Peach, Wild Wasabi, Misty Moonlight, and Marina Mist inks along with some gold card stock.  My turtle from Stampin Up's Whale Done set was stamped in Misty Moonlight...colored in with Wild Wasabi...and then stamped with the Peekaboo Peach ink all over it using the "sun" stamp from Stampin Up's Waterfront set.  It almost looks like one of the turtles from the designer paper that I was wishing I had purchased!!
Cardz 4 Guyz LogoJust realized as I was typing up this post that this card would also work for the Cardz 4 Guyz challenge to use "no designer paper".

Global Design Project #249

Here is my take on the color challenge from the Global Design Project. (#GDP249) Stampin Up's Sailing Home bundle was perfect for this color combo.

Fusion Challenge...Bonus Birds and Branches #8

So....I actually made 8 cards with this Birds and Branches set from Stampin Up!  That means you get a bonus card today!!  Here is the 8th card in a row created with this set from the new catalog.  My inspiration for this card comes from the Fusion Challenge.  The Fusion Challenge give us a sketch as well as a photo...we can us the sketch or the photo only...or "fuse" them together!!

Tic Tac Toe Challene #072

Here is day 7 of showcasing the new Stampin Up set Birds and Branches.  For each of the last seven days I have made a card using this set from their new catalog.  Today's card was created for the Tic Tac Toe challenge.  My three in a row from this week's game board runs across the top...use the word summer//patterned paper//stitching.  Thanks to the Tic Tac Toe team for their inspiration.
