Time Out Challenges // #TOC288 ...A theme challenge!!  The theme for this current challenge, in honor of Star Wars Day... "May the 4th be with you".  I right away thought of Stampin Up's To The Moon stamp set, it is the closed thing I have to galaxy themed stamps.

Colorful Options // MAY2025 ...A color challenge!!  The colors for the month of May also follow the "May the 4th be with you" Star Wars theme.  I picked the orange and aqua colors from the Stars Wars banner color palette.

Can You Handle The Pressure // 10MAY25 ...An embossing challenge!!  I used my new favorite embossing folder to give a galaxy feel background.  This challenge always has an optional twist and right now that twist is florals, but today I didn't include any flowers...just basic embossing!!

Color Throwdown // #ctd832 ...A color challenge!!  The trio of colors called for in this current challenge is red, navy, and light blue!!  The picture that they have showcasing this color combo made me want to use fabric...denim to be exact...so I used a sizzix die to cut an old pair of jeans.

Inspire.Create.Challenge // #ICC192 ...A theme challenge!!  "A card that incorporates a tag" is the theme for this current challenge.  I used a retired tag punch from Stampin Up to create a sentiment tag.

TicTacToe Challenges // #tttc270 ...A game board challenge!!  My winning three in a row on this game board: die cut (sizzix floral die), brads/metallics (pewter flower brads), and stencil (swirls of stenciled dots).

Cardz 4 Guyz // #C4G372 ...A masculine challenge with a sketch!!  For this current challenge we have a sketch for you.  This sketch has so many possibilities!!  We can't wait to see how you use this sketch.  

I used this sketch to create a scene in the main focal point.  I love this father & son stamp that is retired from Stampin Up...it is perfect for a Father's Day card.

Inspiration Station // #IS73 ...A monthly photo challenge!!  My inspiration from the photo is the sunset and the father & son image.  Father's Day is coming up and this inspiration photo was perfect for creating a card for this special day.

Just Add Ink // #JAI750 ...A color challenge!!  The colors called for in this current challenge are Peach Pie, Pretty In Pink, Summer Splash, and Black!!  I used these colors to create a sympathy card.

TGIF challenges // #tgifc524 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch paired up perfectly with the JAI color challenge.  A sketch challenge and a color challenge go together so perfectly.

Cupcake Inspiration // #CI617 ...A cupcake inspired challenge!!  Lavender & Sage!!  Yummy!!  I love this color combo!!  Perfect for these potted plants!!

Can You Handle The Pressure // 10MAY25 ...An embossing challenge with an optional twist!!  The twist for this current challenge is FLORALS.  I used a floral embossing folder as well as pots of florals.

Inspire By Challenges // #IB335 ...An inspiration challenge!!  Flowers in a basket...well how about flowers in pots...that works right?!?

Allsorts Challenge // #AC823 ....An "anything goes" challenge with an optional twist!!  The optional twist for this current challenge is PAPER PIECING.  I did paper piecing on my pots and the tiny leaf hanging out of the middle pot.  Inks and paper are from Stampin Up and the flower pots and verse stamp are from Unity Stamps.

New Challenge @ Sunday Stamps #SSC360

 

Today begins a new challenge at...

Sunday Stamps // #SSC360 ...A color challenge!!  We have a "Spring Splendor" color palette to inspire you.  From this color palette we want you to use at least three of the five colors.  I used the mustard, yellow, and blue for this color palette and I used the lemons in the photo as inspiration for my card.

Just Us Girls // #JUG774 ...A theme challenge!!  FRUIT is the theme for this current challenge.  I picked lemons as my fruit!!  This theme paired up perfectly with the new challenge beginning at Sunday Stamps today.

Word Power // MAY2025 ...A monthly "word" challenge!!  I used a "thinking of you" sentiment along with it's matching die as my "word power" for today's card.

Color Hues // #TCH109 ...A color challenge!!  Blue and Yellow are the colors called for in this current challenge!!  Perfect for pairing up with our color palette over at SSC.

Little Red Wagon // #LRW806 ...A theme challenge!!  The theme for this current challenge is "Good-bye Yellow Brick Road".  Yellow!!  Lemony yellow!!  YES!!

Addicted to CAS // #282 ...A clean and simple "code word" challenge!!  FIESTA is the code word for this current challenge.  Today is me dad's 79th birthday and just 10 days ago he was moved into hospice care and we are creating a "fiesta" in his room!!  Decorating it all up and cooking up his favorite foods!!

Freshly Made Sketches // #FMS685 ...A sketch challenge!!  This clean and simple sketch was perfect for showcasing my "fiesta" card that I made for my dad...because today it is all about celebrating him...even if he sleeps through it all!!

Allsorts Challenge // #AC823 ...An "anything goes" challenge with an optional twist!!  PAPER PIECING is the optional twist for this current challenge.  I used the optional twist today and paper pieced that tiny party hats on the two little party chicks.  All items used on today's card are from Stampin Up...both the stamps and the designer papers have been retired.

Inspire.Create.Challenge // #ICC192 ...A theme challenge!!  The theme for this current challenge is "Use A Tag"!!  I pulled out a retired Stampin Up mini tag punch and punched out two tags...a white one for my sentiment and an accent one in purple.

Retro Rubber Challenge // #rrcb254 ...A "retro" challenge with a theme!!  Retro means that they want us to use a stamp that is over a year old, and the theme for this current challenge is SWEET SPRING FLOWERS!  This potted flower Unity stamp is right at a year old, the tag sentiment is Stampin Up's Tiny Tags bundle from 2011, and the mini flowers are from Stampin Up's Sweet As A Peach stamp set that came out in 2021.

Double Trouble Challenge // #190 ...A "Thing 1, Thing 2, and Thing 3" challenge!!  Thing 1 wants use to use a recipe on our card...3 layers, 2 colors from the wheel, and 1 patterned paper!! Check!! I may have spiced it up with an additional color and one extra layers!!  Thing 2 wants use to use the sketch from TSOT but, I could pull that off this time, so I will be back!!  Thing 3 wants us to use florals...check!!  I hope Thing 2 doesn't feel too left out!?!

Love Those Pretty Papers // MAY2025 ...A monthly designer paper challenge with a theme!!  The theme for May is FLOWERS!!  This floral filigree paper from Stampin Up has been hiding out in my stash for years!!

Simply Clean & Simple // MAY2025 ...A monthly CAS challenge with an optional theme.  The optional theme for May is FLOWERS!!  I love this whimsical bouquet of flowers that I received as a prize.

Cupcake Inspirations // #CI617 ...A cupcake inspired challenge!!  The cupcakes in this photo give use a lavender and sage color combo.  I used Stampin Up's Highland Heather and Mint Macaron to depict the color combo called for.

Alphabet Challenge // 03MAY25 ...An ABC challenge!!  B is for BUTTERFLY!!  And they want to see more than 2 butterflies.  I used a retired embosslit die from Stampin Up to cut out these  embossed butterflies...I used three on the card and one to make a matching envelope.
