4 challenges inspired today's card...

Stick It Down // OCT2026 ...A monthly sketch challenge found on Face Book!!  It is almost the end of October and I had yet to play along with their sketch...today is the day!!

Retro Rubber Challenge // #rrcb283 ...A color challenge!!  Use the 4 color found in the "Be-Leaf Me" photo along with a retro stamp!!  I am using a leaf stamp from Stampin Up's Autumn Splendor set that came out in 2009.  I picked it up at a thirft store last year...it had never been inked up or even put together!!

Little Red Wagon // #LRW882 ...A theme challenge!!  The theme for this current challenge is...S is for STENCIL!!  I used a burlap stencil amongst the falling leaves.

Cupcake Inspiration Challenge // #CI642 ...A cupcake inspired challenge!!  My inspiration from this cupcake photo...the fall vibe, the leaves, and the layering!!

    

Never Before Used // #NBUS91...

The NBUS blog doesn't give challenges but offers a great place to show off those items that have "never been used" ...whether they are brand new or items that you have had for a while but haven't gotten around to using.  Today I am using a Stampin Up stamp (AUTUMN SPLENDOR // 2009) that I picked up at a thrift store last November (there are still stamps in this set that I have not inked up yet)...it is a wooden red rubber set that had never been put together...so brand new, never been used!!  Oh...and I got it for $3...yippie!!

New Challenge @ Sunday Stamps

 

Today begins a new challenge at...

Sunday Stamps // #SSC393 ...A color challenge!!  From the five colors in this JUST BEACHY color palette, pick at least 3 to use on your card.  I used Stampin Up's Soft Sky, Pumpkin Pie, and Tangerine Tango card stock & Crumb Cake, Soft Sky, and Island Indigo inks.

{PIN}spirational Challenges // #340 ...A monthly Pinterest challenge!!  August's photo from Pinterest gives us a glittery color combo of peach and jade.  I used those colors on today's card and I also added 4 glittery embellishments.

Stick It Down // JUL2026 ...A sketch challenge found on FaceBook!!  July's sketch was perfect for combining these additional challenges.

Hand Stamped Sentiments // #HSS492 ...An inspiration challenge!! My inspiration from the visual prompt...the lower photo of palm trees with a pink and orange sky.

A Cut Above // JUL2026 ...A monthly die cut challenge!!  I used two die cuts from Stampin Up...the stitched rectangle die and the Timeless Tropical palm die.

Cut It Up // #360 ...A die cut challenge with a theme!!  The theme for this current challenge is MAKE YOUR OWN BACKGROUND.  I made my own sky background using an acrylic block, inks, and a spritzer.

Stick It Down Challenges // JUN2026 ...A sketch challenge!!  This monthly FaceBook challenge offers sketch for both cards and scrapbook pages.  This is my second take on their card challenge.  I also used this sketch on Saturday's card.

Addicted to CAS // #311 ...A "code word" challenge that is clean and simple!!  The code word for this current challenge is PATTERN!!  I used patterned paper and kept it clean & simple!!

Addicted to Stamps & More // #520 ...A theme challenge!!  The theme for this current challenge is DIECUTS and/or STENCILS.  I used a Stampin Up die cut to finish off my CAS card.

Festive Friday // #FF0212 ...An "inspo list" challenge!!  For this challenge we are asked to use 3 elements from the list of 10 elements honoring NATIONAL BIKINI DAY!!  My three from the list are blue, polk-a-dots, and ribbon.  Of course a nautical theme finishes it off perfectly since you would be wearing a bikini.

Stick It Down Challenge // JUN2026 ...A monthly FaceBook challenge with sketches for cards and scrapbook pages.  This sketch was perfect for using up some designer paper from Stampin Up that I have been hoarding.

Simple Clean & Simple // JUN2026 ...A monthly clean and simple challenge with an optional theme.  The optional theme for the month of June is NAUTICAL!!  I love this nautical paper and thought a die cute anchor would finish it off.

A Cut Above // JUN2026 ...A monthly die cut challenge!!  I used one of Stampin Up's retired stamp and matching die for my die cut element on today's card.

New Challenge @ Cardz 4 Guyz #C4G384

 

Today begins a new challenge at...

Cardz 4 Guyz // #C4G384 ...A masculine challenge with a theme!!  The theme for this current challenge is Light Blue & Brown!!  I used Stampin Up's designer paper for my light blue and their washi tape, Early Espresso ink, & Soft Suede ink for my brown.

TicTacToe Challenges // #tttc288 ...A "game board" challenge!!  My winning three in a row on this current tic-tac-toe game board: splatter (stamped inside the frame), washi tape (Early Espresso tape from Stampin Up) and frame (the leftover outer stitches of a rectangle die cut out).

Inspire.Create.Challenge // #ICC211 ...A theme challenge!! The theme for this current challenge: It is all about the man!!  They want to see our masculine creations.  So this challenge paired up perfectly with our Card 4 Guyz challenge that began today.

Stick It Down Challenge // MAR2026 ...A monthly sketch challenge found on FaceBook!!  This challenge offers both card and scrapbook page sketches.  I am playing along with their card sketch today.  This sketch was perfect for combining these 4 challenges.

Card #2 was inspired by 3 challenges...

Retro Rubber Challenges // #rrcb267 ...A retro challenge with a theme!!  For this current challenge they have offered up a Sweet Spring Showers color theme...use light and dark pink & light and dark green.  All four colors must be included on your card and you must use a retro stamp (one that is over a year old).  My choice of stamp for this challenge comes from a retired Stampin Up set called Beautiful You that came out in 2017.

Can You Handle The Pressure // 14MAR26 ...An embossing challenge with an optional twist!!  SEWING is the optional twist for this current challenge.  I embossed a lace boarder on my card...lace is used in sewing...right?!!?  I also used a "stitched" die for my sentiment...sewing takes stitched...right?!!?

Make My Monday // #MMM273 ...A theme challenge!!  All Tied Up is the theme for this current challenge!!  The want to see ribbon, twine, bows, or string.  I used some baker's twine from Stampin Up and tied a little knot onto my sentiment.

Color Hues // #TCH124 ...A color challenge!!  RED & GRAY are the colors called for in this current challenge.  I picked Poppy Parade & Basic Gray from Stampin Up as my color duo.

Allsorts Challenge // #AC840 ...An "anything goes" challenge with an optional twist!!  WINTER ANIMAL is the optional twist for this current challenge.  I picked a chipmunk from a INKADINKADO set that I was gifted...I love seeing them scurrying around so playful even when it is cold outside. 

Stick It Down Challenge // JAN2026 ...A monthly FaceBook sketch challenge!!  This challenge offer both a card sketch and a scrapbook layout sketch each month.  Their card sketch was the starting point for today's card.

Inspiration Station // #IS81 ...A monthly "photo inspired" challenge!!  This monthly we have a squirrel carrying a nut...does a chipmuck work?!?  They are in the same family...right??
