Inspired By Challenges // #IB329 ...A photo inspired challenge with an optional sketch!!  My inspiration from the photo: the clothes line, the plaids, the pastels, and the optional sketch.

Make My Monday // #MMM248 ...A theme challenge!!  GREEN is the theme for this current challenge!!  I used green ribbon, green plaid paper (with a few other colors added in), and green card stock...I made it mostly green!!

Addicted to Stamps & More // #ATS&M ...An "any occasion" card!!  How about a new birth for my any occasion??  This has got to be one of the biggest life changing occasions ever!!

Can You Handle The Pressure // 22MAR25 ...An embossing challenge with an optional twist!!  I used my dotted cloud embossing folder for my trio of panels that gives a perfect backdrop to my clothes line.  The twist for this current challenge is to use your favorite color...I love love love pastels!!

Guest Designer for Stick It Down FaceBook Challenge

So excited to be a guest designer for...

Stick It Down Challenges // APR25 ...A sketch challenge found on FaceBook that offers sketch both for cards and scrapbook pages.  What an honor to be asked to design along side their great team!!  April's card sketch is a slim line card with a row of stars spelling out Happy or in my case cupcakes.

We hope you will join the fun and play along with the Stick It Down sketch.  It will be fun to see how you interrupt April's challenge.

Card #2 was inspired by 4 challenges...

Just Us Girls // #JUG768 ...A technique challenge!!  STENCIL!!  I found this fun stencil that I kinda forgot about and decided it deserved to be showcased.

Inspire.Create.Challeng // #ICC189 ...A theme challenge!!  EASTER//SPRING is the theme for this current challenge!!  I got some springtime blooms along with a "Happy Easter" sentiment, so I have both angles covered!!

Allsorts Challenge // #AC820 ...An "anything goes" challenge with an optional theme!!  SPRING FLOWERS is the optional theme for this current challenge.  I used Stampin Up's felt stitched flowers that came in a bundle for my spring flowers.  Don't them make a sweet little bloom?!?  I also used a stencil from AALL & Create for my country town background.

Retro Rubber Challenge // #rrcb251 ...A retro challenge with an "anything goes" theme!!  Retro mean that we need to use a stamp that is over a year old.  This "Happy Easter" sentiment from Stampin Up came out in 2011 as a Hostess gift.  My twine, felt flowers, and stencil are over a year old as well.

New Challenge @ Cardz 4 Guyz #C4G369

 

Today begins a new challenge at...

Cardz 4 Guyz // #C4G369 ...A masculine challene with a theme!!  The theme for this new challenge is FUN & GAMES!!  How about a chess set?!?  I got this set for making birthday cards for my sister's four boys...they are avid chess players and I have made some great cards for them over the last several years!!  They thought it was cool for me to buy a stamp set that was "just for" them!

Can You Handle The Pressure // 22MAR25 ...An embossing challenge!!  I have had so much fun with this new embossing folder that I picked up at the Green Valley Book Fair during my trip to Virginia.  I love that is has a masculine feel to it and that it kinda matches our C4G logo.

Addicted to Stamps & More // #ATS&M489 ...An "any occasion" challenge!!  While I have mostly used this stamp for birthday cards for my nephews  I am using today's card for a Happy Retirement card for a friend.

Hand Stamped Sentiments // #HSS459 ...A collage inspired challenge!!  My inspiration from the collage: the peach & teal colors, the florals, and the butterfly.  Perfect for a springtime birthday card.

TicTacToe Challenges // #tttc267 ...A game board challenge!!  My winning three in a row on this game board runs down the cetner: enamel dots, free (I used a fancy fold as my FREE, inspired by Shoe Girl Cards), and die cut.

TGIF Challlenges // #tgifc518 ...A photo inspired challenge!!  Butterflies and flowers...the perfect pair for a springtime birthday card.

New Challenge @ Sunday Stamps #SSC357

 Today begins a new challenge at...

Sunday Stamps // #SSC357 ...A "color palette" challenge!!  From the "Vivid Viola" color palette of 5 colors, use at least 3 on your card.  I picked the golden yellow (my ribbon), green (Stampin Up's Granny Apple Green) and shades purple (Stampin Up's Rich Razzleberry and Highland Heather).

Retro Rubber Challenge // #rrcb251 ...An "anything goes" retro challenge!!  Retro, meaning that we are required to use a stamp that is over a year old.  I used Stampin Up's Watercolor Shapes to create my back ground...this stamp set came out in 2022.  I also used a very retro sentiment...my "thank you" sentiment is from back in 2011!!

Color Throwdown // #ctd829 ...A color challenge!!  The trio of colors called for in this challenge: lime green, blue, and green.  I used Stampin Up's Lemon-Lime Twist, Brilliant Blue, and Garden Green for my trio of colors.

Freshly Made Sketches // #FMS679 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch was perfect for pulling these 4 challenges together.  Thanks to the FMS team for always offering great inspiration.

Retro Rubber Challenge // #rrcb251 ...An "anything goes" retro challenge!!  Retro means using a stamp that is over one year old.  I am using a sentiment stamp from Stampin Up's Banner Banter that came out in 2014 and all the other items used on today's card are over a year old.

Papercraft Challenges // #PC117 ...A theme challenge!!  SPRING BLOOMS is the theme for this current challenge.  I used an embossing folder to give my card a texture of spring blooms...the perfect backdrop for my spring time butterfly!!

TGIF Challenges // #tgif518 ...An inspiration challenge!!  The inspiration photo showcases a beautiful butterfly surrounded with flowers!!  So how about a butterfly die layered on embossed flowers...YES!!

The Paper Players // #PP730 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch was the starting point for today's card and perfect for playing with my new embossing folder. 

Cupcake Inspirations // #CI614 ...A cupcake inspired challenge!!  The cupcake photo for this current challenge has us thinking about "how we relax".  For me, it is with a cup of coffee!!  I love to sit and relax with a good cup of coffee!!

Alphabet Challenge // 21MAR25 ...An ABC challenge!!  Y is for Yummy!!  How about a yummy salted carmel latte??  Yes, Please!!  

Never Before Used Schtuff // #NBUS72 ...The NBUS blog doesn't give challenges but offers a great place to show off those items that have never been used...whether they are brand new (like today's item) or items that you have had for a while but haven't gotten around to using them yet.  Today I am using a new Darice embossing folder that I picked up in VA while there for Spring Break.  I got it at the Green Valley Book Fair...and amazing flea market of books, puzzles, and crafting supplies!!
