New Challenge @ CAS on Friday #346

 

Today begins a new challenge at...

CAS on Friday // #346 ...A "clean and simple" challenge with a theme!!  The theme for this current challenge is EMBOSSED BACKGROUND!!  

I embossed a filigree as a background behind my pumpkin and acorn, but I also embossed each of them in different embossing folders.

Today I am also a guest designer for the new Cut It Up challenge #368 that begins today!!  Their challenge is to use a die cut that  follows a THANKFUL/GRATEFUL/BLESSED theme!!  I used a pumpkin die & acorn die from Tim Holtz, along with a stitched sentiment banner from Stampin Up for my die cut elements.  I am so excited to finish out this year as a guest designer for this die cut challenge.

Addicted to CAS // #319 ...A "code word" challenge!!  PUMPKIN is the code word for this current challenge.  I embossed a die cut pumpkin and added some bakers twine, giving my pumpkin a country vibe.

Can You Handle The Pressure // 24OCT26 ...An embossing challenge with an optional theme!!  I didn't use the optional theme this time...but since I used three different embossing folders on today's card I just had to share over on the CYHTP blog.

Inspire.Create.Challenge // #ICC227 ...A theme challenge!!  AUTUMN/FALL is the theme for this current challenge!!  A cup of coffee, a good book, and a crisp Fall breeze...YES, Please!!

Time Out Challenge // #TOC324 ...A "visual prompt" challenge!!  My inspiration from the photo...the cup of coffee, the leaves, and the pumpkin!!

Just Us Girls // #JUG846 ...An "anything goes" stencil challenge!!  I used a CiaoBella stencil that I won as a prize for one of my card.

Stencil Fun Challenge // OCT2026 ...A monthly stencil challenge with an optional theme!!  "Crazy is our game...Stencil is our fame"...challenge quote!!  For the month of October the optional theme is ORANGE...I didn't stencil with orange ink but I made sure to include orange on my card...the pumpkins, a splash on the leaves, and the stripe on the coffee cup!!

CAS Colours & Sketches // #595 ...A clean and simple sketch challenge!!  This current sketch was perfect for combining today's challenges.  I used a vertical sentiment instead of a horizontal one...hope that is okay!??!

Addicted to CAS // #318 ...A "code word" challenge that is clean and simple!!  The code word for this current challenge is HAPPY!!  Stampin Up's retired "you make me happy" banner stamp was perfect for this challenge.  I could help but adding in a row of HAPPY in the background.

We Love Stamping // OCT2026 ...A monthly stamping challenge with an optional theme!!  The theme for October is SHADES OF AUTUMN.  I used Not Quite Navy ink for stamping my row of scripted HAPPY in the background (from Endless Birthday Wishes) & my sentiment banner (from Perfect Pennants)...all retired from Stampin Up.  My "shades of autumn" option, found in my circles, comes from a pack of paper from Pretty Little Studios.

Never Before Used // #NBUS91 ...The NBUS blog doesn't give challenges but offers a great place to show off those items that have "never been used" ...whether they are brand new or items that you have had for a while but haven't gotten around to using.  Today I am using new pack of designer paper from Pretty Little Studios.

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge // #AHSC702 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch was the starting point for today's card.  I used some designer paper from Stamping Up for my bold stripes.

AAA Birthday Challenge // #90 ...A birthday card challenge with a theme!!  The theme for this current challenge is BIG & BOLD.  I've got big bold stripes, a big "happy" sentiment, and bold colors!!

Addicted to CAS // #318 ...A "code word" challenge that is clean and simple!!  The code word for this current challenge is HAPPY!!  I used a retired "happy" sentiment from Stampin Up.

New Challenge at CAS on Friday #344

 

Today begins a new challenge at...

CAS on Friday // #344 ...A "clean and simple" challenge with a theme!!  The theme for this current challenge is SHADES OF GRAY!!  I used Stampin Up's Smokey Slate and Basic Gray for my take on this challenge.  I decided that shades of gray makes a great masculine card.  I pulled out the retired Guy Greetings stamp set from Stampin Up and got busy using my shades of gray.

We hope you will join the fun and play along with our new challenge.  We can't wait to see all the SHADES OF GRAY that will be turning up in our gallery.

AAA Card Challenge // #324 ...A "clean and simple" challenge with a theme.  The theme for this current challenge is to "FOLLOW MY LEAD"...Helen's lead that is!!  I used her shaded circle, her vintage style image, and sketch!!

AAA Card Challenge // #324 ...A "clean and simple challenge" with a theme!!  The theme for this current challenge is CASE!!  We are asked to CASE a card that Helen made.  My CASEing includes the color of her circle, a vintage image and the layout!!

Addicted to CAS // #317 ...A clean & simple "code word" challenge!!  CIRCLE is the code word for this current challenge!!  I stenciled a circle in my card's corner and left lots of white space...clean & simple indeed!!

Cut It Up // #365 ...A "die cut" challenge with a theme!!  The theme for this current challenge is BLACK & ORANGE.  I used Stampin Up's Tangerine Tango (card stock & ink) and Basic Black (ink, card stock & pearls) on today's card.

Alphabet Challenge // 18SEPT26 ...An ABC challenge!!  K is for KITTEN!!  I used a trio of die cut black kitties on today's card.

Little Red Wagon // #LRW875 ...A theme challenge!!  The theme for this current challenge is USE A STAMP.  I used Stampin Up's Wildflower Designs to stamp my tag and my envelope.

Word Art Wednesday // #768-769 ...An "anything goes" challenge with an optional scripture verse theme.  I didn't used the verse on the out side of my card but I will be including it on the inside...it is a perfect verse to share as a reminder to abide in HIS peace!!
