Color Throwdown Challenge #611

Gray, Kraft, Green and White....that is the color combo for this week's Color Throwdown challenge.  I used Stampin Up's Winter Woods stamp set for my trees...that is my gray, along with my ribbon.  Kraft sentiment die. Wild Wasabi sponged circle and scalloped is my green.  All done on a white base which completes the current color combo!!  Thanks for the inspiration!

CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #388 & Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #453

 Two cards for two challenges....

Freshly Made Sketches has a fun sketch for us this week.  I used my Kaleidoscope ink pad and brayer for creating the background for this silhouette stamp. Layering it on an embossed piece of cardstock seemed like the perfect finishing touch!!

CAS Colours & Sketches has a color challenge for us this week.  The color combo is Mango Melody, Cinnamon Cider and Cherry Cobbler.  I inked up my arcylic block with the three colors called for...spritzed it with water to create this watercolored rectangle panel for my sentiment and die cut flower.  Enamel dots seemed like the perfect way to finish off this card.

#bethegift challenge:  Make a point to give at least 10 hugs to someone you love!

The Library Challenge #67

The title, the cover, or the story...you pick...based on the book that is pulled off the shelf!!  My inspiration came from both the title and the cover.  The book that has been pulled off the shelf for the Library Challenge is 40 Whacks by Lizzie Borden.

#bethegift challenge:  Practice the gift of community...invite a neighbor over for dinner tonight.

One Card for Three Challenges

 One card for three challenges...

Cardz 4 Guyz...Monochromatic! I usually am not a fan of monochromatic card but I am so loving the way this one turned out!!  Thanks to the Cardz 4 Guys team for pushing me outside my comfort zone with this challenge!!

CAS(E) this Sketch...a sketch challenge...this sketch paired up perfectly with a monochromatic challenge.

Time Out...Adventurous was our challenge word.  One our my biggest adventures was a hot air balloon ride in Albuquerque, New Mexico!!  So it seemed fitting to use Stampin Up's Above the Clouds bundle for this challenge.
