Fusion Challenge

One single card...one single challenge.  No combining today. But as always with the Fusion challenge there is the option of using just their sketch, just their photo, or using both.  For today's card I am using both.  From the photo I pulled the hexagons and the light blue & gold color combo.

#bethegift challenge:   Deliver some "welcome April, welcome spring" flowers to a friend or neighbor near by.

Freshly Made Sketches #428 // Sunday Stamps #227 // The Library Challenge #55

Three challenges are displayed on this card...the sketch challenge from Freshly Made Sketches, the color combo from Sunday Stamps (I picked Basic Black//Pumpkin Pie//Pear Pizzaz//Sahara Sand) and for the Library Challenge...I pulled my inspiration from the cover of this weeks book...How to Embroider Almost Anything (a stitched circle die//that leave on the right//the orange color in the title).  With all the endless possibilities these challenges offered I am surprised that my card ended up being such a CAS card!!

Global Design Project #233 & Inspired By Challenge #117

Today's card was created for the color challenge from the Global Design Project (#GDP233).  This week's colors are Pool Party, So Saffron, and Petal Pink.  I am also playing along with the Inspired By challenge and sketch.  With the color combo and the inspirational photo,  Stampin Up's Beautiful Bouquet bundle seemed perfect for these challenges.

3 Challenges // One Card

Three challenges in one card today....a color challenge from the Color Throwdown team, a sketch challenge from Paper Players, and a grid from the TicTacToe team.  The color combo from the Color Throwdown challenge is...Pink//Purple//White.  This color combo worked perfectly with my three in a row on the TicTacToe grid...Pastel Colors//Die Cuts//Color Based Card.  I am using Stampin Up's Wisteria Wonder for my card base...Pink & Purple are pastel colors...my seashell dies were a gift from my hubby (sorry but I can't remember the company they are from).

I love the embossing on these dies but hate that you can't see it very good in the photo.  I took an extra close up picture in hopes that you could see it a little better.  Still not as good as in real life but...

#bethegift challenge:    Learn something new today and share it with a friend...give the gift of education.

Fab Friday #185, As You See It #221 & CASology #364

Today's card was created for three challenges...the sketch challenge from Fab Friday, fill in the blank challenge from As You See It, and the cue card...TEA from CASology!!

When I saw that TEA was our cue card for the current challenge I automatically thought of iced tea...guess that is because I live in Florida!  Iced Tea on the beach is a perfect combination!!

Here is the fill in the blank....My favorite type of card to send is_____.  Beachy themed cards!!! And if I had to pick an occasion for that blank it would be birthday cards!

Materials used: Stampin Up's Waterfront stamp set...Seasonal Layers Thinlits...Early Espresso and Soft Sky card stock...Soft Sky, Calypso Coral, and Soft Suede inks

#bethegift challenge:     Visit a nursing home today and give the gift of "presence".  Today's prompt was obviously written prior to this Corona Virus outbreak...with "social distancing" this might be hard to do but get creative....go visit a resident by knocking on their window and giving them a smile!!

Tic Tac Toe Challenge #056

Today I am playing along with the challenge from the TicTacToe team.  My three in a row runs down the right side...bow//spring sentiment//rhinestones.  I am using Stampin Up's  Flourish dies, one of their retired sentiments, the sentiment banner from their Smooth Sailing die set, Calypso Coral cardstock & ribbon for my bow, and last but not least blue rhinestones to finish it off.  The blue satin ribbon is from one of the weekly floral arrangements that are delivered to the office where I work.

#bethegift challenge:  Write a letter to someone and list all the ways they have touched your life.

Twofer Challenge #25 & CAS(E) this Sketch #364

The Twofer Challenge this month was to create two cards using the Spring Animal theme...two different designs for two different occasions (Baby & Friendship) using the same stamps, stencils, and/or dies.  I pulled a Sale-a-bration stamp set from last year off the shelf (Stampin Up's Hey, Chick) because it was prefect for the Spring Animal theme.

For this first card I used the sketch challenge from CAS(E) this Sketch as my inspiration.  That row of circles just reminded me of a gathering of eggs.
#bethegift challenge:  Pick up trash at a local park...be the gift in your own city.

The challenge this week from the As You See It challenge was to fill in the blank....My favorite type of card to send is_______.  For me, I love making beachy themed cards!! Since moving to Florida I like making cards that reflect our weekends here.

Today's card also included the color challenge from the Color Throwdown team....blue//green//coral.  For this color combo, I used Stampin Up ink...Island Indigo//Wild Wasabi//Calypso Coral.

Just Us Girls Challenge #527

Here is my take on the "Black Background" challenge from Just Us Girls.  I just bought this black card bases with matching black envelopes at Hobby Lobby...perfect for this challenge.  Time to get out my chalk marker for addressing the envelopes!!

Addicted to CAS #180 & Less Is More #415

Here is a very simple card for two CAS challenges...a CIRCLE challenge from Addicted to CAS and a color challenge to use the colors Red//Raspberry//Gray from Less Is More.

My red and my raspberry look the same in the photo but in real life you can tell it is two different colors.  My wreath and cardstock layer are raspberry and the stamped circles are red.
