Freshly Made Sketches // #FMS475 ...A sketch challenge!  Their current sketch was perfect for showcasing these crazy haired chickens from Stampin Up's Hey, Chick & Hey, Birthday Chick sets.

TGIF Challenge // #tgifc306 ...A color challenge!  Their current challenge has use creating with Just Jade, Daffodil Delight, and Gorgeous Grape.  

Just Us Girls // #JUG574 ...A word challenge!  It is word week over at Just Us Girls and the word for challenge 574 is...ANIMALS!  Crazy haired chickens count...right?!!?

Sketch Saturday #604 & The Library Challenge #56

What a fun card this turned out to be!!  Very different from my usual creations.  But between these to challenges it called for something a little out side the box for me!!  The Library Challenge was based on the book Egg Drop by Mini Grey...use the story, the cover, or the title for your inspiration.  And the Sketch Saturday challenge was to "create a scene".....I'd say I have created quite the scene here!!

Materials used:  Stampin Up's Above the Clouds, Waterfront, and Hey, Chick stamp sets...Garden Green, Pool Party, Real Red, Early Espresso, and So Saffron inks...Hot Air Balloon punch that I then altered...black cording.

Twofer Challenge #25 & CAS(E) this Sketch #364

The Twofer Challenge this month was to create two cards using the Spring Animal theme...two different designs for two different occasions (Baby & Friendship) using the same stamps, stencils, and/or dies.  I pulled a Sale-a-bration stamp set from last year off the shelf (Stampin Up's Hey, Chick) because it was prefect for the Spring Animal theme.

For this first card I used the sketch challenge from CAS(E) this Sketch as my inspiration.  That row of circles just reminded me of a gathering of eggs.
