Cupcake Inspirations // #CI588 ...A cupcake inspired challenge!!   These dinosaur cupcakes are bright and super fun.  I have NO dinosaur stamps but I did have some dinosaur stickers left over from my grandkids last visit.  And I have lots of bright colored designer papers.

Inspire.Create.Challenge // #ICC162 ...A CASE challenge!!  For this current challenge we are CASEing (copy and selectively edit) a card by Jo Blackman, one of ICC's design team members.  I chose to use her "sketch" as my inspiration.

Papercraft Challenges // #PC103 ...A theme challenge!!  CARNIVAL!!  When at the carnival make sure you ride the merry-go-round!! Oh and eat some cotton candy, too!!  A sweet way to pass the time as you wait in line!!

Time Out Challenges // #TOC257 ...A celebration challenge!! Yippie it is their 10th birthday!!  Line up and let the celebration begin!!  Happy Birthday!!  

CAS Colours & Sketches // #531 ...A sketch challenge!!  I flipped the sketch for today's card.  While it didn't end up as clean as I originally planned, I did keep it very simple by using stickers!!

New Challenge @ Shopping Our Stash

 

Today begins a new challenge at...

Shopping Our Stash // #SOS516 ...A "shop your stash" challenge with a theme!!  The theme: "It is not easy being green"...for this current challenge we are looking for all things GREEN...may be a bit of recycling as well!!  

My take on this challenge included lots of pieces are parts from my stash...green ink, green card stock, and green candy dots.   I used scrap paper from my left over bin, so I did a bit of recycling as well.  Also from my stash, the Top Note die which was covered in dust and hadn't been used in a very long time!!

Jingle Belles // #JB2404 ...A year round Christmas challenge!!  The theme for this challenge is TEXT ME.  We are challenged to use "text" in some way.  I used it as my background for today's card.

Addicted to CAS // #462 ...A theme challenge!!  This challenge blog rotates through 5 themes and it is time for their Christmas theme.  I love Christmas challenges throughout the year...it helps me prepare for the sending of Christmas cards without getting overwhelmed in December!!

Stick It Down Challenges // FEB24 ...A sketch challenge hosted on FaceBook!!  This sketch was the perfect layout for this piece of bordered text that I won in a challenge and was needed for the Jingle Belles challenge.

Addicted to CAS // #252 ...A "code word" challenge!!  GEOMETRIC!!  I love this stencil and it is perfect for a geometric challenge!!  So perfect that I used it on my first card for this challenge!!

CAS on Friday // #277 ...A theme challenge!! MALE/BOY is the theme for this challenge!! I needed a baby boy card so this was a fantastic challenge...it met my need!!

Color Hues // #TCH81 ...A color challenge!!  The duo of colors for this challenge...Lilac & Mint!!  A soft combo that is on point for a new baby boy!!

Just Us Girls // #JUG715 ...An "anything goes stencil" challenge!!  Both of today's cards include using a stencil.  I love stencils and wish my stash of them was much larger.

Global Design Project // #GDP433 ...A color challenge!!  The combo of colors called for in this challenge are Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delightful, and Pumpkin Pie.  This combination had me thinking of the sunshine!!

TicTacToe Challenges // #tttc241 ...A game board challenge!!  My winning three in a row on this tic-tac-toe game board: green (designer papers and ink), lucky symbol (four leave clovers), sparkle (bronze embossing powder).

Festive Friday // #FF153 ...An "inspo list" challenge!!  For this challenge we are asked to use 3 of the 10 items on the inspo list honoring International Women's Day.  The 3 elements that I included on my card are circle, pink, and supportive sentiment.

Hand Stamped Sentiments // #HSS432 ...An inspiration challenge!!  My inspiration from the collage of photos...hearts & color combination.

Colorful Options // FEB24 ...A month long color challenge!!  The color option for February is PINK!!  I used a sweet little Valentine gnome to see a supportive sentiment to a friend who could use some encouragement.  

Why is it so hard for us women to see the good other's see??  Why are negative voices louder than supportive voices??  Let's be more intentional about lifting each other up!!

Freshly Made Sketches // FMS624 ...A sketch challenge!!  A sketch challenge is always a great starting point for a card.  Twirl the sketch around in your head for a while and it starts the creative juices flowing.

Color Throwdown Challenge // #ctd781 ...A color challenge!!  With a sketch in mind a color challenge is often a great next step for building a card and I love the trio of colors called for in this current sketch: peach, yellow & green!!

Alphabet Challenge // 09FEB24 ...An alphabet challenge!!  W is for WEDDINGS!!  Now I have a theme...best wishes to the happy couple!! I am on a roll with wedding card...this is my third one in a week!  We have two weddings in our family coming up and several amongst our friends...well actually that would be our friends kids that are getting married!!  That might say a little bit about our age!! LOL!!

As You See It Challenges // #AYSI317 ...A "recipe" challenge!!  We are given 5 "ingredients" that need to be included in our card.  Those ingredients are rhinestones, embossing folder, twine, die, and plaid.  I used 6 green rhinestones, a rose embossing folder, yellow twine at 2 places, a leaf die, and some plaid designer paper!!

Inspired By Challenges // #IB276 ...An inspiration challenge!!  This challenge also gives us a sketch along with the inspiration photo...the sketch is optional but it usually is a great starting point.  Today I flipped the sketch but did use it as well for my quilt patch card.

TGIF Challenges // #tgifc460 ...A "product" challenge!!  For this current challenge we are asked to use a product from Stampin Up's Sale-A-Bration's catalog.  I used the Bee Mine set.  But wait...as I am typing this post I wonder...This set came with my Sale-A-Bration order but I can't remember if it was from the main catalog or the Sale-A-Bration catalog.  Oops...I might need to make another card?!?

Color Hues // #TCH81 ...A color challenge!!  The duo of colors called for in the current challenge: Mint & Lilac.  A sweet at honey combination for my quilt patch card.
