{PIN}spirational Challenges // #303 ...A Pintrest inspired challenge!!  For the month of July this challenge is all about summertime and birthdays!!  Summer Time Vibes!!  Watching the sea turtles is one of my brother-in-laws hobbies and his summer birthday make this card the perfect summertime vibe!!

As You See It Challenge // #AYSI304 ...A "fill in the blank" challenge!!  The thing I love most about summer is___!!  The beach and watching the sea turtles hatch and return to the sea!!

Sketch~N~Scrap // #245 ...A sketch challenge!!  Every card has a sketch of some sort and I always enjoy the sketches offered by the S~N~S team.

Addicted to Stamps & More // #451 ...A "make your mark" challenge!!  I inked up my Sea Turtle set from Stampin Up and "made my mark" !!

CAS Colours & Sketches // #516 ...A sketch challenge!!  Found this embossed designer paper stashed away...it is perfect for this sketch with the boarder of butterflies & vines and matching jumbo florals for cutting out.

The Paper Players // #PP651 ...A game board challenge!!  My winning three in a row on this tic-tac-toe board: blue, feminine, and flowers!!  A winning combination for this birthday card!!

Retro Rubber Challenge // #rrcb211 ...A game board challenge!!  Your choice, die cut, and stencil are my winning three in a row on this game board.  For this challenge we are also suppose to use stamps that are over a year old.  My sentiment stamp is very retro...one of the first sets I bought over 20 years ago when I started as a Stampin Up demonstrator.  My stencil and die are also over a year old, so this card is all kinds of retro!!

Make My Monday // #mmm205 ...A technique challenge!!  Make an aperture card.  I don't know what I was thinking but I did this one the hard way and stamped my circle and card front separately and then worked at lining them up...why oh why didn't I stamp on the card front and then punch out the circle?!?!

Addicted to CAS // #243 ...A code word challenge!!  SHAPES!!  I kept it simple and used a circle.  Clean and simple is the name of the game!!

As You See It // #AYSI304 ...A fill in the blank challenge!!  "The thing that I love most about summer is______!!  Trips to the beach!! I love the relaxation of the sun, sand, and surf!!

TGIF Challenges // #tgifc431 ...A theme challenge!! SUNNY DAYS!!  Sunshine and sailboats!!  Sunny days are most fun spent on the water...wouldn't you agree!?!

Retro Rubber Challenges // #rrcb211 ...A game board challenge!!  Sun (sunshine stencil), dies cut (wave die), and patterned paper (Night of Navy & Balmy Blue) are my winning three in a row on this game board.  For this challenge we are also suppose to use stamps that are over a year old.  The Verve sentiment is over 9 years old and the sail boat stamps & wave die came from Stampin Up's Swirly Bird bundle that came out in 2017.  So that makes this card a RETRO creation!!

Paper Craft Crew Challenges // #PCC528 ...A sketch challenge!!  The lines on the lower half of the card are my waves...the circle on stacked on the lines is my sailboat...and there you have it...my creative take on this sketch.

Summertime Lemonade

Just Us Girls // #JUG689 ...A CAS challenge!!  A clean and simple challenge using 3 of something.  I used 3 lemon slices!!  I took a "coffee cup" and made it into a cup of lemonade by wrapping the cup in vellum and sliding 3 lemon slices between the vellum and yellow card stock.

Try Stampin On Tuesday // #TSOT616 ...A sketch challenge!!  A sketch challenge with an optional theme...summer drinks!!  How about a cup of fresh squeezed lemonade.

Papercraft Challenges // #PC96 ...A theme challenge!!  Summer fun!!  A lemonade stand is always fun summer project for the kids.  They can make a little money and learn a bit of responsibility while having fun!!

New Challenge @ Cardz 4 Guyz #C4G327

 Today begins a new challenge at...

Cardz 4 Guyz // #C4G327 ...A masculine challenge!!  For this current challenge we want to see masculine cards with a "on the water" theme!!    Sailboats are one of my favorite things to watch on the water.   So for my card I decided to do some paper piecing of the sails.  I love how it turned out.  Now it is your turn...hop on over to our blog and check out the creations from the rest of the design team.  Looking forward to seeing your take on this new challenge.

Color Hues // #TCH68 ...A color challenge!!  Olive & Berry...the color duo for this challenge!!  The pair made me think of raspberries, so out came my Berry Blessings stamp set from Stampin Up.

Global Design Project // #GDP404 ...A theme challenge!!  STRIPES!!  Designer paper is a great way to showcase stripes.

Inspire.Create.Challenge // #ICC147 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch was the perfect starting point for today's card...it allowed me to include stripes as well as showcase the color combo from Color Hues.

Alphabet Challenge // 14July2023 ...An alphabet challenge!!  H is for Humor.  The fact that Santa lost his hat is a bit humorous don't you think?!!?

Once Upon A Time // #OUAT12 ...A book inspired challenge!!  The book that is our inspiration for this month is...Beautiful Oops! by Barney Saltzberg.  The OOPS is my inspiration for this card.  Ooops, Santa has lost his hat!!

ABC Christmas // 12July2023 ...An alphabet challenge!!  There is an N & O challenge currently...I went with the N.  N is for "No Layers".  I masked Santa's hat so that I did indeed keep my card to one layer.

Never Before Used Schtuff // #NBUS52 ...A "never been used" challenge.  I won this stamp from Jingle Belles.  The making of this card was the first it saw ink...never before used!!

Jingle Belles // #JB2315 ...A year round Christmas challenge!!  For this challenge there is a Santa's hat theme.  On my card, Santa has lost his hat...left it behind on this fence post.  The children in the village will be thrilled!! Oh...and the Jingle Belles have teamed up with the Double Trouble challenge blog.  Thing 1 is asking for a Christmas in July theme, Thing 2 wants us to play along with the Jingle Belles challenge, and Thing 3 wants it to be about Santa's hat also!
