Inspiration Station // JUN2025 ...An inspiration challenge!!  The photo for the month of June is of a rainbow carnival swing.  I thought this stencil inked with water color pencils was perfect for portraying the swirling and the rainbow color, plus I included a swing...YES!!

Splitcoast Stampers Sketch Challenge // #SC1062 ...A sketch challenge!!!  This sketch was perfect for showcasing multiple challenges.  Three challenges are currently asking for us to use stencils and this sketch pulled them all together.

Just Us Girls // #JUG781 ...A theme challenge!!  STENCILS!!  

INKspirtional Challenges // #IC344 ...A theme challenge!! STENCILS!!

Addicted to Stamps & More // #ATS&M495 ...A technique challenge!!  Use STENCILS and/or DIES!!  I used both!!

New Challenge @ Shopping Our Stash #SOS543

 

Today begins a new challenge at...

Shopping Our Stash // #SOS543 ...A "shop your stash" challenge with a theme!!  The theme for this current challenge is to "Think Ink"...Use lots of ink, but NO COLORING. Think sponging, stamping, smooshing, stenciling, brayering, splattering, gel printing.

For my take on this challenge I used Stamin Up's Watercolor Shapes and stamped a background and then spritzed with water.  My main image is just basic stamping using 4 different ink colors.

Stick It Down // MAR2025 ...A monthly FaceBook sketch challenge!!  The Stick It Down challenge offers both scrapbook sketches and card sketches.  This month's card sketch was perfect for showcasing Stampin Up's Watercolor Blocks.  It looks like it was created with those stamps in mind!!

Just Us Girls // #JUG765 ...A birthday & die challenge!!  They want to see a birthday card that uses a birthday themed die!!  How about a birthday sentiment die?!?  Perfect!!  I also used additional dies to finish out my card!!

{PIN}spiraitonal Challenges // MAR2025 ...A Pinterest photo inspired challenge!!  So many shades of green in the photo...so I used multiple shades of green on my card!!  Oh, and a fews flowers too!!

CAS Colours & Sketch // #555 ...A color challenge!!  Lemon Lime Twist, Granny Apple Green, and Berry Burst are the colors called for in this current challenge.  My main image ended up being larger than I thought it would be...covering up more of my white space than intended.  I will try to be back with these colors in another card that is more CAS than this one.

Card #2 was inspired by 3 challenges...

TGIF Challenges // #tgif515 ...A color challenge!!  Fresh Freesia, Summer Splash, and Granny Apple Green are the colors called for in this current challenge!!  A fun springy color combination!!

As You See It Challenge // #AYSI343 ...A "speed" challenge that has us using punches!!  I used a retired butterfly punch from Stampin Up.  This card took me only 6 minutes to finish.  A clean and simple card that is fun, fast, and easy to put together!!

Allsorts Challenge // #AC818 ...An "anything goes" challenge with an optional theme!!  CLEAN & SIMPLE is the optional theme for thus current challenge.  I used all Stampin Up production on today's card.

The Paper Players // #PP710 ...A theme challenge!!  "Love is in the air" is the theme for this challenge!!  Love is diffinately in the air when you are cuddled up by that special "somebunny"!!

Just Us Girls // #JUG747 ...A color challenge!!  Chartreuse, light blue, and gray are the colors called for in this current color challenge.  A perfect color combo for these little snuggle bunnies!!

Sketch~N~Scrape Challenges // #SNS275 ...A sketch challenge!!  I used this sketch as the starting point for today's card.  The layout was just perfect for this snuggle bunny image.

Card #2 inspired by 3 challenges...

Color Hues // #TCH96 ...A color challenge!!  Orange & Purple are the colors called.  Lots of Halloween ideas with this color combo but I decided to go a little different route.

Splitcoast Stampers // #SC1027 ...A sketch challenge!!  I built my card about this sketch full of layers.  It was a great starting point for pulling together my textures and stamping.

Can You Handle the Pressure // #CYHTP ...An embossing challenge!!  There is an optional twist to this challenge but I decided not to use it today and just went with the anything goes element of the challenge.

New Challenge @ Cardz 4 Guyz

 Yesterday began a new challenge at...

Cardz 4 Guyz // #C4G336 ...A masculine challenge with a "Festive Creature" theme.  I picked this cute little penguin and created a scene of him ice fishing.  I wasn't sure it was clear that he was ice fishing so I asked my hubby.  He right away said ice fishing!!  Success!!  He has his sting of fish just about full ready for a holiday fish fry!!

Time Out Challenges // #TOC252 ...A theme challenge!! It is a winter/holiday challenge!!  This little peguin all bundled up and fishing for his holiday meal makes for a fun holiday card for my cousin who is always hosting a fish fry...he will love it!!

Less Is More // #LIM497 ...An alphabet challenge!!  D is for Deck The Halls!!  Nothing like a steaming cup of mocha for decking the halls!!  

Never Before Used Schtuff // #NBUS56 ...A "never been used" challenge!!  This die arrived in the mail while we were away for Thanksgiving.  How fun to have something new to play with this week.

TGIF Challenges // #tgif446 ...A sketch challenge!!  A perfect sketch for using up some designer papers from my stash!!  Anyone remember this pack of papers from Stampin Up??  It was from many years ago and I loved it so much I bought a ton of it!!  I am finally on my last pack of it.

Just Us Girls // #JUG705 ...A work challenge!!  THANKS!!  A thankful heart is a happy heart!!  Make sure you let those that you are thankful for know it!!  Your heart will be happy and theirs will be too!!

Summertime Lemonade

Just Us Girls // #JUG689 ...A CAS challenge!!  A clean and simple challenge using 3 of something.  I used 3 lemon slices!!  I took a "coffee cup" and made it into a cup of lemonade by wrapping the cup in vellum and sliding 3 lemon slices between the vellum and yellow card stock.

Try Stampin On Tuesday // #TSOT616 ...A sketch challenge!!  A sketch challenge with an optional theme...summer drinks!!  How about a cup of fresh squeezed lemonade.

Papercraft Challenges // #PC96 ...A theme challenge!!  Summer fun!!  A lemonade stand is always fun summer project for the kids.  They can make a little money and learn a bit of responsibility while having fun!!

Just Us Girls // #JUG679 ...A word challenge!!  WEDDING!!  The wedding season has begun!  Time to get my stash stocked up!!  I have been to one already with several others scheduled in.

Try Stampin On Tuesday // #TSOT606 ...A sketch challenge!!  We have also been given the option of using dies and/or punches.  I used three punches and two dies...got that option covered don't you think!?!  I know a square was called for but I really wanted the full title on this song book page and so a rectangle was needed...I hope that is okay!?!

Retro Rubber Challenge // #rrcb206 ...A game board challenge!!  My winning three in a row: stencil, flower, and ribbon.  As always with this challenge we are to use a stamp set that is over a year old.  This flower is from Stampin Up's You've Got This set from back in 2015.

Addicted to Stamps & More // #ATSM445 ...A die cut & stencil challenge!!  My card has both die cuts and stencils!!  I am not sure which item I love more...die cuts or stencils!?!
