Global Design Project #272

Here is my take on the Global Design Project challenge.  Their current challenge is a CASE challenge (Copy And Selectively Edit) and we are CASEing a card by Kerstin Kreis, one of their talented team members from Germany.  I thought this challenge was perfect for showcasing my new bundle from Stampin Up...Friends Are Like Seashells.  This set along with lot of other awesome new goodies will be available in January from the new Occasions Mini catalog.

I used the die to cut out some water color paper then I inked it up with Soft Sky ink and then stamped the shells in Rich Razzleberry after spritzing them with a little water.  Added some silver cording and one of the sweet sentiments from the set.

#bethegift challenge:  Register to run/walk a 5K in the new year...to support a good cause.

Cardz 4 Guyz Challenge #261 & Tic Tac Toe Challenge #095

It is time for a new challenge from Cardz 4 Guyz!!  Our challenge to you for this current challenge (#C4G261) is to create a male card in either black and silver or black and gold.  I decided to use black and silver...perfect color combination for a masculine card made with my new stamps from Stampin Up.  You are getting a sneak peek at a bundle that will be available in January...Friends Are Like Seashells!  Since I am living in Florida, this set is perfect for me.  For Christmas I got the embossing folder, the stamps and the dies...the whole bundle!!

One last Christmas card for this season...It is never too early to begin the stash for next year!!  This card was created for the Tic Tac Toe challenge.  My winning three in a row runs across the top of the game board...Santa/Bricks/Rhinestones.  My little santa was completely made with punches...isn't he the cutest!!

#bethegift challenge:  Forgive someone today...even if it is really really hard!!

CAS(E) this Sketch #402

Merry Christmas!!  Even though today's card is not Christmasy in nature it's sentiment speaks volumes for this day and every day as we finish out 2020!! Live in the moment!! Today's card was created for the CAS(E) this Sketch challenge.  Their sketch was perfect for playing with washi tape and this long skinny metal sentiment that I had stashed away!!  I have included a close up of the sentiment because in the picture of my card you can't really see it...I just couldn't get the lighting right.

#bethegift challenge:  Order a pizza and have it delivered to the hospital for those doctors and nurses that are having to work today!!

Just Add Ink Challenge #536 & CASology Challenge #380

Today's card was inspired by two challenges...

Just Add Ink // #536 ...A photo challenges!  This little snowman in a bucket was two cute and I did my best to recreate it with stamps!! Not quite as cute as the photo but I'm happy with how it turned out!!

CASology // #380 ...Snowman challenge!  I know, I know.....not a lot of white space but a lot of empty space....does that count?!?  My snowman in a bucket needed a wooden back ground but since it was a single image I thought it might work for your challenge even though my backdrop was not white space!!

#bethegift challenge:  Leave several Merry Christmas notes on the windshields of cars in the next parking lot you park in.

INKspirational Challenge #228 // CASology Challenge #380 // Global Design Project #271

 3 Challenges inspired today's card...

INKspirational challenge // #228
...Word Prompt--SNOW!!  The Northern East Coast of the United States has gotten a lot of snow this week!!  It is at times like this that I am glad we moved to Florida six years ago!!  I'd rather be stamping snow on a card than  having to deal with it in real life!!

CASology // #380 ...Cue Card--SNOWMAN!!  Gotta have some snow to make a snowman!!  This snowman has long since been retired from Stampin Up but he is so stinkin cute that at least once a winter I gotta get him out and get him inky!!

Global Design Project // #GDP271 ...A theme challenge!!  Winter//Holiday!!  A snowman fits this theme perfectly!!  Warm winter wishes to each one of yall!

#bethegift challenge:  Give a heartfelt compliment to a stranger!

Two Cards...3 Challenges.

 Fab Friday Challenge #203

This card was created for the Fab Friday sketch challenge.  Most crafters have used this cute little owl as a Christmas stamp but I figured this little gift giver could also work for a winter birthday!!  So this time it says Happy Birthday!!

This second card was inspired by two challenges.

The Paper Players // #PP521 ...A color challenge!! White, Black & Silver...such an elegant combination!!  Perfect for a wedding card!!  I embossed my trio of bells using silver embossing powder...used all three colors of card stock in my layers...finished it off with a trio of white pearls!!

TGIF Challenge // #TGIFC294 ...A sketch challenge!  The TGIF team is closing out the year with a simple sketch...perfect for this busy season!

#bethegift challenge:  In any store today...let the person behind you in line check out first!!

Today starts the "Snowman" challenge over at Cardz 4 Guyz.  We hope you will come on over and play along with us.  We are asking that you make a masculine card that fits the snowman theme.  I used Stampin Up's Snow Place.  This card was also inspired by two other challenges. The INKspirational challenge...their word prompt for this current challenge is...SNOW!!  The second challenge that inspired this card was The Library Challenge.  For the current challenge we were asked to pick one of this years previous books.  I picked The Girl on the Train...used the red, black, and white color combo.

A weekend of craft shows, lights, and stamping!!

This first card was created for the Paper Craft Crew challenge // #PCCC404 .  Their current challenge is a sketch challenge.  I gave this sketch lots of white space and kept it very simple.

This second card was created for three challenges...

Tic Tac Toe Challenge // #TTTC093 ...Another fun game board from the team!!  My three in a row for a win runs across the bottom...green/sequins/gold.

Hand Stamped Sentiments // #HSS304 ...A color challenge!  Their color combo for this challenge is Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, and Misty Moonlight.

Sunday Stamps // #SSC246 ...A sketch challenge!  I realized as I was posting this that my take on the sketch is a little off center from what the sketch called for--oops!!  I will try to come back with a better take on this sketch...I got a little caught up in my creating!!

#bethegift challenge:  Donate some of your used books to the local library!
This weekend was filled with fun...craft shows, Christmas lights, stamping, and long walks on the beach with my hubby!!

Color Throwdown Challenge #623 & Tic Tac Toe Challenge #

This card was created for 2 challenges....

The color challenge from the Color Throwdown team.  #CTD623 Their color combo for the current sketch it Green, Aqua, and Pink.   I also noticed and used the metallic element found of the layers of the trees...thus my little gold stars and the gold mat.

The second challenge that inspired this card was the Tic Tac Toe challenge.  #TTTC093.  My winning three is a row runs down the right hand side of the game board...Embossing Paste/Spotlight technique/Gold.  I have included a close up picture of my embossing paste stars...you can't really see them in the first picture...and even in this close up the white on white makes it hard to see but it real life it looks good!

This new bicycle stamp I got with a gift certificate that I won from Rubbernecker Stamps.  My name was drawn in the Twofer Card Challenge give away!!  Lucky me!!  I usually am not a winner in give-aways but I got lucky this time!!

#bethegift challenge:  Hide a dollar bill in the toy section of the dollar store...make some little person's day!!

Two Cards // Three Challenges

My first card was created for the CASology Challenge #379.  Their current cue card is...WHEAT!!   I had to dig deep for this one...the challenge has laid on my crafting table until the challenge was almost over!!  I just could come up with an idea for wheat!!  Alas, I stumbled across this Sale-A-Bration set from Stampin Up...it has been retired but it does fit the cue card.

This second card was created for two challenges.  A sketch challenge from the Freshly Made Sketches team.  #FMS465  And a color challenge from the Hand Stamped Sentiments team.  #HSSCC354  Their color combo for this current challenge is Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, and Misty Moonlight.  I used my acrylic block to create this watercolor tag in all three colors...edged the tag with my Misty Moonlight maker...layered it on my embossed background...then I stamped the foliage in Misty Moonlight...next I added an Old Olive ribbon and sentiment.

#bethegift challenge:  Deliver chocolates or flowers to the receptions at your local school.
