2 challenges inspired today's card...

As You See It Challange // #AYSI335 ...A "recipe" challenge!!  Use all 5 ingredients given in this "Thinking of You Warmly" recipe!!  The ingredients for this current challenge are metallic (a silver charm), embossing texture (used a border embossing folder), Thinking of You sentiment (sentiment stamp from the Essential Sentiments set that I won somewhere along the way), tag (used a retired Stampin Up tag punch), and warm tones (Early Espresso, Hello Honey, and Melon Mambo inks from Stampin Up).  Check!!   All five ingredients are mixed together on my Caffeinated Collage card!!

TGIF Challenges // #tgif496 ...An "inspiration" challenge!!  We were given an "Abstract Art" piece as our inspiration!  I love a collage card...the layering up of colors, textures, and elements makes for a fun creation.

Allsorts Challenges // #AC804 ...An "anything goes" challenge with an optional theme!!  Today I decided to enter this challenge as an "anything goes" card...collage cards are kinda like that!!  Anything goes and you keep layering and adding elements until you have the perfect creation!!

Never Before Used Schtuff // #NBUS67 ...A "never been used" challenge!!  Today my "never been used" items are the coffee ben stamps!!  I won a prize gift certificate in the "National Coffe Day" blog from Miss Ink Stamps and today I am inking up those coffee beans for the very first time.

CAS on Friday // #295 ...A clean and simple challenge with a theme!!  The theme for this current challenge is to "use the corner of your card"!!  I will often use a single corner of my card...especially when making a CAS card.  So this was a challenge that came easy for me.

Inspire By Challenges // #IB307 ...A photo inspired challenge with an optional sketch!!  Today I used both!!  My inspiration from the photo...the pine cones and the earthy colors.  

Never Before Used Schtuff // #NBUS67 ...A "never been used" challenge!!  This stamp set is a real oldie but this pinecone charm is brand new!!  I just picked up a packet of charms from Hobby Lobby and opened them for the first time today!!

Cardz 4 Guyz // #C4G359 ...A masculine challenge with a theme!!  The theme for this challenge is "A Taste Of Fall"!!

I used my Spellbinder's layering dies for my "hello fall" sentiment and Stampin Up stamps for my mushrooms and gathering basket behind them.  Anyone else have a granddfather that loved gathering mushrooms??  Here's to those men who enjoy that hobby!!

Sketch~N~Scrap // WCMD#1 ...A sketch challenge in honor of World Card Making Day!!  This sketch was perfect for showcasing my mushrooms for the "A Taste of Fall" challenge.

Color Hues // #TCH97 ...A color challenge!!  The duo of colors for this challenge is olive and mustard.  I used Stampin Up's Old Olive and Hello Honey for my duo.  A great pair of colors that worked perfectly for showcasing my mushrooms.

Card #1 inspired by 4 challenges...

CAS on Friday Challenge // #295 ...A clean and simple challenge with a theme!!  The theme for this current challenge is "use the corner of your card".  I used corners opposite of each other to give a framed look.

Color Throwdown // #ctd816 ...A color challenge!!  The trio of colors for this challenge: orange (I used Calypso Coral from Stampin Up), Cream (I used cream chalk to color in my flowers) and Kraft ( I used Kraft cardstock and heat embossed my images in Early Espresso embossing powder from Stampin Up).  This color combo was in honor of Barb, a design team member who lost her battle with cancer! 

Just Us Girls // #JUG750 & Just Add Ink // JAI725 ...A technique challenge!!  Both of these challenges are highlighting the same technique!!  STENCILING is the technique that they are asking for this week.  I love this net stencil...it was perfect for adding some color to the opposing corners of my card.

Card #2 inspired by 3 challenges...

Hand Stamped Sentiments // #HSS449 ...A sketch challenge!!  I love this sketch...perfect for showcasing my new holiday woodland papers and the stickers that I won.

Addicted to Stamps & More // #ATS&M479 ...An "any occasion" challenge!!  I picked Christmas as my occasion.  Another card added to my Christmas stash...maybe by December I will have the cards needed for mailing to friends and family.

INKspirational Challenges // #IC327 ...A "seasonal" challenge!!  Pick and season and make a card that is apporiate for that season.  I picked winter and made a Christmas card!!

Both of these cards have items that have "never been used" so I will also be entering them in the NBUS (Never Before Used Schtuff) challenge.  Card #1 was created with a stamp set that I won from Miss Ink Stamps.  I won it during the National Coffee Day Blog Hop.  Card #2 has stickers on it that I won from the same blog hop...this prize was from Kimberly Anne Lanegan Wiener.

Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge // #CCCC34 ...A monthly caffeinated Christmas challenge!!  Coffee + Christmas + Whimsical Winter!!  These little stickers from Pinkfresh Studio stickers that I won during the National Coffee Day blog hop are perfect for a whimsical tag!!  Of course whenever you use pink for your main color it creates a whimsical winter feel!!
