Addicted to CAS // #ATC256 ...A "code word" challenge!!  MONOCHROME is the code word for this current challenge!!  I used three shades of green (Wild Wasabi, Pear Pizzaz, and Mossy Meadow) to create today's monochromatic card.

CAS on Friday // #281 ...A theme challenge!! SPRING is the theme for challenge #281.  Spring time brings out the green!!  The new growth is all kinds and shades of green.

Never Before Used Schtuff // #NBUS61 ...A "never been used" challenge!!  I am using this sending strength stamp for the very first time today.  It is part of a sentiment set from MY FAVORITE THINGS.  Don't you just love inking up a new stamp!!

TGIF Challenges // #tgifc468 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch was the starting point for today's card.  I thought snowflakes would look good in place of the hearts.  I was right!!

Jingle Belle // #JB2408 ...A year round Christmas challenge!!  For this current challenge we are asked to use a recycled item in honor of Earth Day!! My recycled items is the polk-a-dotted ribbon...it came on a bouquet of flowers that was delivered to my office.  Looked good in my floral arrangement and it looks good used on today's card.

Inspired By Challenges // #IB284 ...An photo inspired challenge with an optional sketch!!  I used both the photo and the sketch for today's card.  So pretty in pink!!  

Just Us Girls // #JUG722 ...A "word" challenge!!  RAIN is the word for this challenge!!  Rainy days can be brightened by a friend and that is the reason for this card...created for a friend who brightened my rainy day!!

Simply Clean & Simple // APR2024 ...A monthly "clean & simple" challenge with an optional theme!!  WEATHER is the theme for this month's challenge.  While emotional rainy days are no fun...I love an actual rainy day!!  Something about that pitter patter that is just smoothing to me.

Inspiration Station // #IS60 ...A photo inspired challenge!!  My inspiration from this photo of the earth being held in someone's hands...map of the world embossing folder & the sentiment beacause life on this earth is truly a journey.

Alphabet Challenge // 05APR24 ...An alphabet challenge!!  A is for ADVENTURE!!  Every day on this earth is an adventure and we need to take it all in an "enjoy the journey".  For me hiking is always an adventure...who doesn't love a chance to explore!!

Coffee Makes Everything Better...Especially on a Monday!!

 

Card #1 inspired by one challenge...

Freshly Made Sketches // #FMS631 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch was perfect for playing with my circular coffee die.  I am working on a set of coffee cards to take to a new local coffee shop...hoping the owner with let me set them up in his shop.  I will keep you posted!!

Card #2 inspired by two challenges...

Just Add Ink // #JAI687 ...A "just add" challenge!!  For this current challenge we are "just adding" a sketch.  The sketch had me thinking about Stampin Up's Bee My Valentine stamp set...seemed perfect to pair them up!!

The Paper Players // #PP685 ...A color challenge!!  Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay, Granny Apple Green, and Crushed Curry are the colors called for in this challenge.  I bright springy combination that worked perfectly with my honey bee card.

New Challenge @ Sunday Stamps #SSC333

 Today begins a new challenge at...

Sunday Stamps // #SSC333 ...A color challenge!!  Our "Pretty Petals" color palette gives you 5 colors and the challenge is to use at least three of those colors.  I chose not to use petals to showcase these colors and went with a sea turtle & starfish combination.  Worked out pretty good don't you think?!?

Inspired.Create.Challenge // #ICC165 ...A sketch challenge!!  I love this sketch with the layers of scattered circles.  It was perfect for building this "secret garden" card for my mother-in-law who loves birds, flowers, and my cards!!

Make My Monday // #MMM223 ...A theme challenge!!  The theme for this current challenge is "Natural Picture of a Bird".  I created a secret garden scene with two little yellow birds enjoying a rest.

Color Throwdown Challenge // #ctd788 ...A color challenge!!  The colors called for in this current challenge are pink, yellow, and green.  Perfect color combo for my "secret garden" scene.

Hand Stamped Sentiments // #HSS435 ...An inspiration challenge!!  The collage of pictures for this challenge include birdhouses, flowers, and a collection of springy colors...perfect inspiration for this "secret garden" card.

3 challenges inspired today's 1st card...

Global Design Project // #GDP440 ...A CASE challenge!!  For this current challenge we are CASEing a card created by Nicole Peschke.  I loved her white on white, the soft hint of colors, and the addition of gold.  

Colorful Options // APR2024 ...A color challenge!!  For the month of April we are to use pastels!!  Soft Sea Foam from Stampin Up is a favorite pastel of mine.  Card #2 would also fit this challenge because I used pastels (a word with two meanings) for coloring my image.

{PIN}spirational Challenges // #312 ...A Pinterest inspired challenge!!  In 2024 Deanne has us each month using different crafting supplies to create a card that is inspired by a Pinterest photo.  For the month of April we are EMBOSSING!!  For today's card I did heat embossing using stencils and for my sentiment.

Retro Rubber Challenges // #rrcb228 ...A retro rubber sketch challenge!!  This challenge has us using stamps that are over a year old.  How about this one...it is from Stampin Up and dates back to 1999!!  25 years old!!  Retro indeed...even has a very different style then we see today!!

Hand Stamped Sentiments // #HSS435 ...An inspiration challenge!!  This collage of photos is all things spring!! Myy inspirationn from the photo...birdies, wreath, floral, and spring time colors!!

Color Throwdown Challenge // #ctd788 ...A color challenge!!  Pink, Yellow, and Green are the colors called for in this challenge.  A spring time color combo perfect for this "Best Wishes" wreath.  I even made my birdies yellow to match the photo!!

Make My Monday // #MMM223 ...A theme challenge!!  A "natural picture of a bird".  These little birdies hovering over their nest seemed pretty natural to me...Right?!?
