Double Trouble Challenge // #224 ...A "Thing 1, Thing 2, and Thing 3" challenge!!  Thing 1 wants us to follow a "Scrapper's GORP" recipe...3 patterned papers (two sided Soft Suede and scrap strips of Allison Connors stripes), 2 colors (blue & tiny bit of orange...brown as a neutral), and 1 image (snowman sticker image) ...CHECK!!  

Thing 2 wants us to use the sketch from Try A Sketch On Tuesday #703...CHECK!!  Thing 3 wants us to add in some stitching (I added stitching to each of my snowflakes & sentiment)...CHECK!!

Try A Sketch On Tuesday // #TSOT703 ...These two challenges (Double Trouble & TSOT) always partner up.  Since this is a planned partnership on their part (not me picking and combining challenges) you always know they work perfectly together!!

Color Hues // #TCH140 ...A color challenge!!  The duo of colors called for in this current challenge is dusty blue and brown.  This color combo made for a fun snowman Christmas card.

Jingle Belles // #JB2618 ...A "year round" Christmas card challenge with a theme!!  The theme for this current challenge is STICKERS!!  I used a sheet of Allison Conner stickers from back in my scrapbooking days.

The Paper Players // #PP801 ...A "tic tac toe game board" challenge!!  My winning three in a row on this board: patterned paper, free, and circles.

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge // #AHSC697 ...A sketch challenge!!  I used Stampin Up's Stitched With Whimsy dies to create the layered framed look called for in this sketch.

Addicted to CAS // #315 ...A "code word" challenge!! ANNIVERSARY is the code word called for in this current challenge.  Here's to celebrating another year of marriage.

Just Us Girls // #JUG838 ...An "anything goes stencil" challenge!!  I used a layering stencil from Taylored Expressions and some mini stenciling brushed from Honey Bee...they work great for those dainty small stencil areas.

Make My Monday // MMM285 ...A theme challenge!!  The theme for this current challenge is YELLOW & WHITE + ANOTHER COLOR!!  I used 3 shades of yellow and a green ink from Stampin Up.

Allsorts Challenge // #AC857 ...An "anything goes" challenge with an optional twist!!  ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL is the optional twist for this current challenge.  I did use the optional twist and added some Creative Memories ants for my small creatures.

Retro Rubber Challenge // #rrcb279 ...A retro challenge with a theme!!  Retro meaning that we need to use stamps that are over a year old (Stampin Up's Sweet Strawberry stamp set from 2021) and the theme for this current challenge...anything goes!!

Cupcake Inspirations // #CI640 ...A "cupcake photo" inspired challenge!!  IN THE GARDEN, yep, that is where you find strawberries!!

Inspired By // #IB404 ...An "inspiration" challenge with an optional sketch!!  I used both the photo, color combo, and the sketch for today's card.  My inspiraiton from the photo...gingham from Stampin Up, strawberry die from Kat Scrappiness, and banner die from Emily Moore Designs.

Just Us Girls // #JUG838 ...A stencil challenge!!  I used a stencil from Kat Scrappiness on the top portion today's card and on the banner.  Just enough stenciling to enter it into their current challenge.

Just Add Ink // #JAI793 ...A "colour & inspiraiton" challenge!!  Use the color palette and/or the photo as inspiration.  I used both...stamped mushrooms using a stamp from Lavinia and used Stampin Up colors (Creamy Carmel, Poppy Parade, and Garden Green).

Simply Clean & Simple // AUG2026 ...A monthly "CAS" challenge with a theme!!  NATURE is the theme for the month of August.  Today's card has a forging vibe with both mushrooms and flowers.

Little Red Wagon // #LRW873 ...A theme challenge!!  ANYTHING TIMES THREE is the theme for this current challenge!!  I've got three mushrooms and three red flowers on today's card!!

Time Out Challenge // #TOC320 ...A "photo inspired" challenge!!  I created a stain glass window effect by using one of the dies from Stampin Up's Sunset Coast set.

Addicted to Stamps & More // #ATS&M524 ...An "any occasion" challenge!!  How about an anniversary??  That is an occasion worth celebrating, right?!?

I Spy With My Little Eye // #40 ...An "I spy" challenge!!  For this challenge we are spying something YELLOW!!  I have two yellow flowers and some yellow ink!!

Little Red Wagon // #LRW873 ...A theme challenge!!  The theme for this currnt challenge is ANYTHING TIMES THREE!!  I used three pink heart enamel embellishments on today's card.  They seemed like the perfect addition to this anniversary card.

Can You Handle The Pressure // 22AUG26 ...An embossing challenge with a theme!!  The theme for this challenge is BEES!  I stamped bees (Stampin Up's Beautifully Happy stamp set) visiting my stenciled tulips along my brick embossed pathway!!

Alphabet Challenge // 21AUG26 ...An ABC challenge!!  I is for insect!!  I got four bees buzzing around on today's card.

Ellibelle's Garden Party // #18 ...An "anything in or from a garden" challenge!!  Tulips and bees...both found in a spring garden!!

Just Us Girls // #JUG838 ...A stencil challenge!!  I used a brand new stencil that I won from Newton's Nook.  I love these tulips all lined up...makes for a cheery card!!

Never Before Used // #NBUS89 ...The NBUS blog doesn't give challenges but offers a great place to show off those items that have "never been used"...whether they are brand new or items that you have had for a while but haven't gotten around to using.  Today I am using a new stencil that it inked up for the very first time.  I won this stencil from Newton's Nook for a card that I entered in their Inky Paws Challenge.

CAS on Friday Take Two

 

CAS Colors & Sketches // #592 ...A "clean and simple" color challenge!! I kept card #1 clean and simple and used the trio of colors that they called for...Misty Moonlight, Pecan Pie, and Berry Burst.  I also used those colors on my second card but it was not as clean and simple.

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge // #AHSC696 ...A sketch challenge!!  Card #2 follows there current sketch challenge.  I made this card for one of our teachers that is taking a leave of absence for Coast Gaurd deployment.

Cut It Up // #363 ...A "die cut" challenge with a theme!!  ON THE MOVE is the theme for this current challenge!!  I have got sailboats on the move on both of today's cards.  I used Stampin Up's Sunset Coast die for the light house and a sailboat die from their retired Lily Pad bundle.

CAS on Friday // #341 ...A "clean and simple" challenge with a theme!!  Our theme for this challenge is to make a ROUND CARD.  I am on the design team for this challenge that started last Friday and we have had only three people play along...so...I am showcasing this challenge again to stir up interest and encourage others to play along.
