New Challenge @ Shopping Our Stash #SOS562

 

Today begins a new challenge at...

Shopping Our Stash // #SOS562 ...A "shop your stash" challenge with a theme!!  FOREVER YOUNG is the theme for this current challenge!!  We want to see your kid card creations!!  I shopped my stash and found this designer paper that definitely has a kid feel to it.  I cut out and layered a colored rocket, added some banners and embellishments, and stamped in some extras...there you have it...some little boy is gonna be thrilled!!  I love you, to the moon and back!!

Card #2 was inspired by 3 challenges...

Inspired.Create.Challenge // #ICC206 ...A theme challenge!!  MONOCHROMATIC is the theme for this current challenge!!  Green is my color of choice for this monochromatic challenge.  I used a 6x6 tablet of wintergreen prints from Hobby Lobby.

Inspired By Challenges // #IB364 ...An "inspiration photo" challenge with an optional sketch.  I used both the photo and the sktech as inspiraiton for today's second card.  My inspiraiton from the photo...the Christmas tree & the peppermints as decoration.

Little Red Wagon // #LRW835 ...A theme challenge!!  Pearls, sequins, and gems, oh my!!  I love the added of embellishment to my cards and try to keep lots of pearls, sequins, and gems in my stash.

Card #1 inspired by 2 challenges...

Addicted to Stamps & More // #ATS&M506 ...A "make your mark" challenge!!  For this challenge they are wanting to see time of coloring...any type of making a mark...I used Stampin Up chalks and aqua painter to color my embossed flowers.

Can You Handle the Pressure // 22NOV25 ...An embossing challenge with an optional twist!!  The optional twist was...a card of thanks!!  Well this was a card of thanks until my mom stopped by needing a sympathy card.  The thing about a smalled sentiment is that it is easy to change out...you can quickly make a "thank you" into a "sympathy" in no time!!

Card #2 inspired by 2 challenges...

TGIF Challenges // #tgifc553 ...A theme challenge!!  The theme for this current challenge is...a set of cards!!  When a friend calls and asked for a set of 12 shower invitation cards, you go to work!!  I am not a fan of doing the same card 12 times...boring repetition for this creative mind...but there are times when I have to make a set of the same cards and I do it!!

Freshly Made Sketches // #FMS714 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch was perfect for creating this shower invitation cards.  I may not have used a Christmas theme or bulb but the sketch was my inspiration for these invites.

Little Red Wagon // #LRW835 ...A theme challenge!!  Pearls & Sequins & Gems, Oh my...the theme for this current challenge!!  Both of today's cards have black rhinestones on them.  Oh my, how I love a bit of bling!!

Sketch~N~Scrap // NOV2025 ...A "throwback" sketch challenge!!  My pick from the 4 throwback sketches is the one from 2013.  This sketch made for a great starting point for today's combining of challenges.

FarmQuest Challenge // #FQCB78 ...A farm and country challenge with a theme!!  The theme for this current challenge is "Christmas Tree Farm".  The rustic greens and the plaid paper give my card the farm & country feel and Stampin Up's Christmas tree die makes the perfect focal point.  I am guest designing over at the FQCB blog this month and would love for you to come on over an join the fun.

The Paper Funday Challenge // #82 ...A monthly "anything goes" challenge with an optional theme!!  MERRY & BRIGHT is the theme for this current challenge.  

I Spy With My Little Eye // #32 ...An "I spy" challenge!!  For the current challenge we are spying...something festive for Christmas!!  How about a Christmas Tree!?!

Make My Monday // #MMM265 ...A theme challenge!!  Graditude//Thankful...the theme for this current challenge!!  Gradtitude is the fairest blossom!!  This sentiment had me thinking of this new fairy stamp from Lavinia.

Love These Pretty Papers // NOV2025 ...A monthly designer paper challenge with a theme!!  The theme for this current challeng is FOREST CRITTERS!!  How about a snail and a fairy...from a mystical forest!!  I love these ombre papers from Stamping Up and it worked perfectly for creating my mystical forest.

Just Add Ink // #JAI774 ...A technique challenge!!  Stenciling!!  I used my sun rays stencil from Tim Holtz to create a light ray from my lantern.

Just Us Girls // #JUG803 ...A technique challenge!!  Stenciling!!  Just like the Just Add Ink challenge!!  Twofer!!  And just like that...two challenges covered in on card using the same challenge theme.

 Today's card was created for the new challenge at...

FarmQuest Challenges // #FQCB78 ...A farm & country challenge with a theme!!  The theme for this current challenge is "Christmas Tree Farm".  I am so exciting to be guest designing with this great team.  When I was emailed the details for this challenge I right way thought of the Melissa Frances Christmas ticket book that I have been hoarding.  This ticket was perfect for a Christmas tree farm challenge.

CAS on Friday // #323 ...A clean and simple themed challenge!!  CHRISTMAS is the theme for this current challenge that begins today.

         

Now that Thanksgiving has been celebrated and Black Friday shopping has begun, Christmas really is "right around" the corner!!  I hope that in this busy season you still have time to be creative and I hope you will join the CHRISTMAS fun over at CAS on Friday.
