My Mistake...

Sunday Stamps // #SSC463 ...A sketch challenge!!  My mistake from yesterday...left town without creating a card for the challenge that began yesterday!!  Kinda hard to create a card without supplies while camping with grands!!  But here is my make up card now that I am home.  Hop on over to the Sunday Stamps blog and play along with us.  We would love to see your take on our new "Front & Center" sketch challenge!!

Hand Stamped Sentiments // #HSS436 ...A color challenge!!  Petal Pink, Garden Green, and Pretty Peacock are the colors called for in this challenge.

Just Us Girls // #JUG724 ...A stencil challenge!!  This anything goes stencil challenge is super fun for me because I love using stencils.  I have not gotten into the new layered up one but they are on my wish list.  For now I'm enjoying the ones I have and mostly using them as backgrounds.

Inspire.Create.Challenge // #ICC166 ...A theme challenge!!  "Somthing New" is the theme for this current challenge.  I am using my new french press die that I just ordered from Stampin Up.  It took me a minute to figure out how this one layered up but I think I got it right.

New Challenge @ Sunday Stamps #SSC334

Today begins a new challenge at Sunday Stamps but I totally dropped the ball and didn't make one before we left for a camping trip with my daughter and her family in KY.  I made and photographed card to post each day that I was gone but totally missed that Sunday should have been a card for the beginning of a new challenge at Sunday Stamps!!  GRRRR!!  A big apology to my design team members for dropping the ball.  When I return home today I will try and create a card for this sketch.  Even though I don't have a card for this new challenge that begins today, I want to tell you all about it!!  It is a sketch challenge and offers lots of open space for stamping and creating.  We hope you will join the fun and play along with our "Front and Center" sketch challenge over at Sunday Stamps!!

The Color Hues Challenge // #TCH85 ...A color challenge!!  The duo of colors called for in this current challenge is pink & yellow!!  A perfectly springy color combo!!

Try A Sketch On Tuesday // #TSOT645 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch was perfect for playing with a new spiral tablet of shaped designer papers.  I torn out this pink "note book" paper oval and stamped it up.

Alphabet Challenge // 19APR24 ...An alphabet challenge!!  B is for bird!!  I used Stampin Up's bird builder punch (retired) for my litttle birdie.

Colorful Options // APR2024 ...A color challenge!!  Pastels were called for in the color challenge for April.  I am thinking that yellow and pink are just perfectly pastel!!

100% Spoiled

CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge // #535 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch was perfect for playing with a tablet of papers and stickers that I found during my craft clean out.  I made this 100% spoiled puppy card with a friend in mind who just recently got a new puppy!!

Never Before Used Schtuff // #NBUS61 ...A "never been used" challenge!!  A true find during my craft clean out...left over brand new tablet of paper and stickers that have a puppy theme.  We no longer have a dog and I am longer scrapbooking so this tablet will get used for cards for friends with dogs.

Freshly Made Sketches // #FMS633 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch was perfect for the good times retro card.  I am using a pad of papers that I found while doing a craft clean out.  I love the retro look.

Color Throwdown Challenge // #ctd790 ...A color challenge!!  The color combo for this current challenge is yellow, green, and aqua.  The pad of paper that I found was perfect for this color combo...all the papers used on this card came out of the same pad.

Inspired By Challenges // #IB285 ...An inspiration challenge with an optional sketch!!  I picked the peach pop as my inspiration!! And I used the sketch as well!!

Colorful Options // APR2024 ...A monthly color challenge!!  PASTELS are the colors called for this month.  I decided on this peachy pastel for my latte love card.

Never Before Used Schteff // #NBUS61 ...A monthyly challenge showcasing those "never been used" items!!  This Stampin Up bundle just arrived in the mail this weekend and today is the first that it has been inked up!!

New Challenge @ Shopping Our Stash

 

Today begins a new challenge at...

Shopping Our Stash // #SOS520 ...A "use from your stash" challenge!!  The theme for this new challenge is "Mama Mia"...we would like to see cards honoring the women in your life.  From my stash, I used to stamp sets that have long ago been retired.  The Penned & Painted set of florals from Stampin Up, and the Mother's Day sentiment from Verve stamps (A company that is sadly no longer in business).

Stick It Down // APR2024 ...A monthly sketch challenge hosted on Facebook!!  This sketch was perfect for showcasing this verse stamp for a Mother's Day card.

Just Us Girls // #JUG723 ...A mood board challenge!!  This mood board had me seeing Calypso Coral...So I used Calypso Coral baker's twine, card stock and designer paper.

Freshly Made Sketches // #FMS632 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch was the starting point for today's card.  A sketch is the ground work for all creations and I appreciate the inspiration from the FMS team.

Festive Friday Challenges // #FF0157 ...A "inspo list" challenge!!  From the inspo list honoring Cinco de Mayo we are to use three of the ten elements on our card.  I used dry embossing, thread, and enamel dots for my three elements.

Color Throwdown Challenge // #ctd789 ...A color challenge!!  The trio of colors called for in this challenge: navy, red, and gold.  I used Stampin Up's Real Red, Night of Navy, and gold embossing powder.
