New Challenge @ CAS On Friday #338

    

 Today begins a new challenge at...

CAS on Friday // #338 ...A clean and simple challenge with a theme!!  For this current challenge the theme is DIES ONLY w/ STAMPED SENTIMENT.   I used Spellbinder flower dies & a stitched rectangle die from Stampin Up, and no stamping except for the sentiment.

Word Art Wednesday // #760-761 ...An "anything goes" challenge with a focus on scripture!!  I didn't use the verse on today's card but I will be back to make a card using the current verse before this challenge closes.

Make My Monday // #MMM291 ...A theme challenge!!  The theme for this current challenge is BLENDING.  They would like to see 2-3 colors blended together.  I used Stampin Up's Baja Breeze, Highland Heather, and Flirty Flamingo for my blending.

AAA Colourful // #29 ...A "color board" challenge!!  I like how the colors were blended together in a water color look so that it what I did on my entry for this challenge.  Using an acrylic block and a spritz of water to create my blended colors.

Allsorts Challenge // #AC853 ...An "anything goes" challenge with an optional theme.  The optional theme for this current challenge is STENCILS.  I used a Funky Fossil stencil and a Sizzix die on today's card.

Inspired By // #IB395 ...A "photo inspired" challenge!!  My inspiration from this photo of sea life cookies...the color combo, and the sea life theme.

Alphabet Challenge // 26JUN26 ...An ABC challenge!!  E is for EMBOSSING!!  I used two of my favorite embossing folders for today's card.  I love all things beachy so of course these folders are a favorite.

As You See It // #AYSI376 ...A "fill in the blank" challenge!!  My favorite embossing folder is______.  Stampin Up's Seabed and 3D Seashells are two of my favorite embossing folders and they get used a lot since I make lots of cards with a beachy theme.

I Spy With My Little Eye // #38 ...An "I spy" challenge!!  For this current challenge we are "spying" SOMETHING FROM THE SEA.  From the sea...shells, seaweed, and coral...YES!!

Time Out Challenge // #TOC316 ...A "photo inspired" challenge!!  My inspiration from the photo...the splash of pink & aqua and all the metal structure fit the sketch challenge I am using today.

Just Add Ink // #JAI789 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch was prefect for combining these challenges.  The lines in the sketch fit the structure of the pool housing.

Addicted to Stamps & More // #ATS&M520 ...A theme challenge!!  The theme for this current challenge is DIECUTS and/or STENCILS.  I used Spellbinders flip-flop die, but didn't use stencils this time.

The Paper Funday // JUL2026 ...A monthly "anything goes" challenge with an optional theme!!  The optional theme for this current challenge is SUMMER SPLASH!!  Flip-flops are the shoeware of all summer splash moments!!

AAA Cards // #318 ...A clean and simple "follow my lead" challenge!!  For this current challenge we are following Marlies.  I used a new embossing folder from Darice and created an embossed strip instead of a black and white strip.

Alphabet Challenge // 26JUN26 ...An ABC challenge!!  E is for embossing.  I embossed a full folder in white and then cut out three of the images and colored them.  I used the left over bit for my side panel and envelope.

Double D Challenges // 1JULY26 ...A "visual prompt" challenge!!  My inspiration from the visual given...the watermelon slices!!  I know they are candy in the photo but fresh works, doesn't it?!?

FarmQuest Challenges // #84 ...A "farm & country" challenge with a theme!!  The theme for this current challenge is FRUIT, GARDEN, or ORCHARD.  I picked the fruit element for today's card.

Never Before Used // #NBUS88 ...

The NBUS blog doesn't give challenges but offers a great place to show off those items that have "never been used"...whether they are brand new or items that you have had for a while but haven't gotten around to using.  Today I am using a brand new embossing folder from Darice that I picked up on my trip to VA at the Green Valley Book Fair.

AAA Birthday Challenge // #87 ...A monthly Birthday challenge with a theme!!  The theme for the month of July is FOR THE GIRLS!!  Nothing like a girls trip to the beach to celebrate a birthday!!  Gotta love an birthday that falls in the summer!!

Hand Stamped Sentiments // #HHS491 ...A sketch challenge!!  The sketch was perfect for combining these challenges and creating a beachy birthday card for a friend.

Make My Monday // #MMM291 ...A theme challenge!!  The theme for this current challenge is BLEND 2-3 COLORS!  I used Stampin Up's Calypso Coral, Blushing Bride, and So Saffron for blending my beachy circle scene.

Inspire.Create.Challenge // #ICC219 ...A color challenge!!  The trio of colors called for in this challenge: yellow (So Saffron), pink (Blushing Bride), and orange (Calypso Coral).

 

Card #2 was inspired by 3 challenges...

Double Trouble // #219 ...A "Thing 1, Thing 2, and Thing 3" challenge!!  Thing 1 wants us to follow a "It's Going to be a Long Day" recipe...3 layers (took three layers to make this cozy cup), 2 images (coffee cup & coffee beans), and 1 slimline card ...CHECK!!  Thing 2 wants us to use the sketch from Try A Sketch On Tuesday #698...CHECK!!  Thing 3 wants us to include glitter...FAIL!!  I was glittered out after crafting with my grand-daughter yesterday and was just not up to clean up glitter again today!!

Try A Sketch On Tuesday // #TSOT698 ...A sketch challenge!!  These two challenges always partner up.  Since this is a planned partnership on their part (not me picking and combining challenges) you always know they work perfectly together!!

Retro Rubber Challenge // #rrcb275 ...A "retro" challenge with a color combo!!  Retro meaning use a stamp that is over a year old (Cozy Cup from the Greetery that came out in 2019) and the color combo for this challenge is red, green, blue, and white.

Addicted to CAS // #311 ...A clean and simple "code word" challenge!!  PATTERN is the code word for this current challenge!!  I used an embossed folder to create a pattern.

CAS Colours & Sketches // #588 ...A color challenge!!  The colors called for in this current challenge are Blackberry Bliss, Gorgeous Grape, and Garden Green.  I used card stock for all three colors.

Can You Handle The Pressure // 27JUN26 ...An embossing challenge with an optional twist!!  I used a retired embossing from Stampin Up.  An oldie but a goodie!!  I also used the optional twist, which for this challenge was PURPLE!!

Alphabet Challenge // 26JUN26 ...An ABC challenge!!  E is for EMBOSSING!!  

Never Before Used // #NBUS88 ...
