2 Card Monday

 

Card #1 was inspired by 3 challenges...

Can You Handle The Pressure // 28FEB26 ...An embossing challenge with an optional theme!!  With Sympathy is the optional theme for this current challenge.  I embossed my tag with a floral folder from Stampin Up!  I colored it in using inks and a aqua painter and layered a With Sympathy sentiment.

Freshly Made Sketches // #FMS726 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch was perfect for creating a sympathy card for a friend whose brother just passed away.

Just Us Girls // #JUG813 ...A die cut challenge!!  For this current challenge we are to use a die and follow a green theme.  I used Stampin Up's Garden Green for my green and a "package die" for my ribbon and trio of string...that is right...that is a die and not actually twine!!

Card #2 was inspired by 4 challenges...

Double Trouble // #211 ...A "Thing 1, Thing 2, and Thing 3" challenge!!  Thing 1 wants us to follow a "In with the old, out with the new" recipe...3 layers, 2 colors, and 1 image...CHECK!!  Thing 2 wants us to use the sketch from Try A Sketch On Tuesday #690...CHECK!!  Thing 3 wants us to include a pig in honor of National Pig Day...CHECK!!  This piggie stamp has been hiding out in my stash for years as well as my buttons...I used to use them all the time but they have take a back burner.

Try A Sketch On Tuesday // #TSOT690 ...A sketch challenge!!  TSOT has been partnering up with Double Trouble giving great layout for completing their recipes.

Little Red Wagon // #LRW848 ...A theme challenge!!  ANIMALS...this week we are to include an animal on our card.  How about a pink farm animal?!?

FarmQuest Challenges // #FQCB81 ...A farm and country challenge with a theme!!  The theme for this current challenge...baby animals!!  Aww sweet!!  Nothing cuter than a piglet!!

New Challenge @ Sunday Stamps #SSC381

 

Today begins a new challenge at...

Sunday Stamps // #SSC381 ...A color palette challenge!!  From the "Whispers of Spring" color palette choose at least 3 of the 5 colors to use on your card.  I actually used all 5...caramel (Crumb Cake card stock embossed and used as the mat),the peach, light blue, & the green...perfect for stenciling up my florals, and the  navy for my sentiment is in Night of Navy.

INKspirational Challenges // #IC362 ...A "word prompt" challenge!!  The word prompt for this current challenge...Use Stencils!!  I used a layered floral stencil that I won as a prize for one of my card.

Just Add Ink // #JAI780 ...A "just add" challenge!!  For this current challenge we are just adding stencils & dies!!  I used a layering stencil and die combo from Taylored Expressions and a second die from Stampin Up for my sentiment layer.

Card #2 was inspired by 3 challenges...

Inspire.Create.Challenge // #ICC211 ...A theme challenge!!  IT IS ALL ABOUT THE MAN...that is the theme for this current challenge.  This chess card was made for my nephew who turns 21 tomorrow...he has grown up into a man!!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge // #AHSC671 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch was perfect for showcasing these other two challenges.  

Cut It Up Challenges // #351 ...A die cut challenge with a theme!!  Happy Birthday is the theme for this current cutting challenge.  I used a die from Stampin Up's Wildflower Design bundle and stamped a Happy Birthday sentiment for the theme.

Can You Handle The Pressure // 28FEB26 ...An embossing challenge with an optional twist!!  WITH SYMPATHY is the optional twist for this current challenge.  I water colored my florals with inks from Stampin Up and an aqua painter.  My "with sympathy" sentiment is from Verve Stamps (sad to say...no longer in business).

Hand Stamped Sentiments // #HSS483 ...A "mood board" challenge!!  My inspiration from this mood board...the blues, and the florals.

Colorful Options // MAR2026 ...A monthly color challenge!!  The color for March is GREEN!!  But the color board included gorgeous blue skies so I just had to include some soft blues as well.

Just Us Girls // #JUG813 ...A die cut challenge that showcases the color green!!  My sentiment is stamped and die cut...I love these dies from Stampin Up with their fancy edges!!  For my green I used Stampin Up's Garden Green ink and card stock.

 Today begins a new challenge at...

CAS on Friday // #329 ...A "clean and simple" challenge with a sketch!!  This clean and simple sketch has endless possibilities!!  I decided this sketch was perfect for showcasing some retired ribbon from Stampin Up along with my new stamp from Lavinia.

Addicted to CAS // #302 ...A "code word" challenge!!  WEATHER is the code word for this current challenge!!  An umbrella, a puddle, and rain still coming down...I like people who smile when it is raining!!

Allsorts Challenge // #AC844 ...An "anything goes" challenge with a theme!!  The theme for this current challenge...Ribbon & Bows!!  I used some retired Smokey Slate ribbon on today's card...it paired up perfectly with my little rain loving Lavinia mouse stamp!!

TicTacToe Challenges // #287 ...A "game board" challenge!!  My winning three in a row on this tic-tac-toe game board: circles (a stitched die circle), layering (circle layered on base, ribbon layered on circle), and neutral colors (Smokey Slate).

Jingle Belles // #JB2605 ...A year round Christmas challenge with a theme!!  The theme for this current challenge is MUSIC!!  Who doesn't love a Christmas Carole!?!

ABC Christmas Challenge // 11FEB26 ...An alphabet challenge with a Christmas theme!!  C is for CRIMSON & D is for DING DONG!!  I used Stampin Up's retired Bravo Burgundy for my crimson and a sheet of designer paper with bells on it for my ding dong!!

Addicted to Stamps & More // #ATS&M512 ...A theme challenge!!  CHRISTMAS is the theme for this current challenge!!  I went a little "old school" on today's card and burnt the edges of my designer papers and sheet music...messy but fun!!

I Spy With My Little Eye // #34 ...An "I spy" challenge!!  For this current challenge we are spying SOMETHING THAT WE LOVE!!  I love Christmas!!  I love the true meaning, I love time with family, I love the yummy food, I love the music, and I love the lights!!

Retro Rubber Challenges // #rrcb266 ...A "retro stamp" challenge with a theme!!  Retro meaning the stamp needs to be over a year old.  This stamp from Unity stamps has been in my stash for over a year...I am not sure what year it was released.  The theme for this current challenge is "Luck O' the Irish"...this stamp fits perfectly!!

I Spy With My Little Eye // #34 ...An "I Spy" challenge!!  For this current challenge we are spying for "things that we love"!!  I do love a cup of coffee!!

Festive Friday Challenges // #FF0204 ...An "inspo list" challenge!!  From the inspo list celebrating St. Patrick's Day, pick 3 of the 10 elements to use on your card.  My picks...green & yellow, splatters, and clover.  Happy St Patrick's Day!!

First Cup Challenges // #12 MAR2026 ...A monthly "favorite beverage" challenge!!  Here is my cup o' joe for the month of March.

The Paper Players // #PP775 ...A theme challenge!!  The theme for this current challenge...MYSTICAL CREATURES!!  This fairy riding her snail (from Lavinia stamps) seemed like the perfect stamp for this challenge.

Inspire.Create.Challenge // #ICC210 ...A theme challenge!!  The theme for this current challenge...FLORALS!!  How about a bed of flowers!?!

Just Us Girls // #JUG812 ...A technique challenge!!  For this current challenge the JUG team wants to see our stencils!!  I used my Wavy Ferns stencil from Kat Scrappiness for the background.

As You See It Challenges // #AYSI367 ...A speed challenge with a theme!!  Make a card in under 10 min. that showcases the color purple.  I used Stampin Up's Blackberry Bliss & Highland Heather...two purples!!  And...I finished today's card in 6 min and 13 seconds!!  Oh and I even used flowers!!

Card #2 inspired by 2 challenges...

Time Out Challenges // #TOC307 ...A "photo inspired" challenge!!  My inspiration from the photo...the pink & purple colors and the strips and polkadots...I embossed the top half of my card with stripes and the bottom half with polkadots.  I flipped the positioning of the stripes and dots from the photo to my card.

Inspired By Challenges // #IB377 ...An inspiration photo challenge with an optional sketch!!  Inspired by: sweet caterpillar!!  I used both elements on today's card.  I stamped my Unity Stamps donuts, cut them out and layered them up to make a caterpillar on my card...sweet caterpillar!!
