Notice:  It our 35th Anniversary and we are celebrating with a bucket list trip to Italy!!  So this is my last post until our return near the end of the month!!

3 challenges inspired today's card...

Freshly Made Sketches // #FMS644 ...A sketch challenge!!  This simple sketch was perfect for making and posting my last card before we leave for our trip. Since it was clean and simple, I was able to make one last card amongest the last minute packing that was needed.

Can You Handle the Pressure // 13JULY24 ...An embossing challenge with a theme.  STRIPES!!  I didn't emboss stripes but I did use striped papers.

INKspirational Challenges // #IC320 ...A "designers choice" challenge!!  Marlena's choice for this current challenge is to use products from at least 2 different companies.  I used three on today's card.  The ink is from Color Box...Rose Coral Fluid Chalk, stamps and embossing folder is from Stampin Up, and the designer papers are from Waffle Flower.

Color Throwdown // #ctd801 ...A color challenge!!  Navy, Terracotta, and Kraft are the colors called for in this current challenge!!  I used Stampin Up's Night of Navy and Cajun Craze ink for my watercoloring.

Allsorts Challenge // WEEK 789 ...An "all sorts of crafts" challenge!!  Circles are the theme of this current challenge!! Or if you choice you could just do an "anything goes".  Can you find my circle??  It is the sinking sun and it's reflection...the middle of the guitar silhouette!!  This is a new die that just arrived from InLoveArts.  I also used inks from Stampin Up.

FarmQuest // #FQCB55 ...A farm and country theme challenge!!  For this current challenge they are looking for thinks found in a pond or creek.  How about REFLECTIONS?!!?  I have to admit we have a ton of pond/lake reflective photos!!  So atleast it on household reflection work as something found on a pond!!

INKspiration Challenges ...A "designer's choice" challenge!!  The choice for this current challenge is to showcase two products from at least 2 different companies!!  I use inks from Stampin Up and die from InLoveArts.

Since I am using a new crafting item this card can also be entered on the Never Before Used Schtuff blog.  This blog is set up for showcasing any new items that have never been used.  No color challenge, no sketch, no theme just a place to showcase your "never been used" items.  For me, I am using a brand new die on today's card.  It just arrived this past week and today is they first that it has been used.

Try A Sketch On Tuesday // #TSOT650 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch was perfect for playing with my new rain boot die set.  I replaced one of the circles for an umbrella.  This "I'm so sorry" card was made for my sister-in-law because I missed her birthday!!  That is what happens when your summer is packed so very full!!

As You See It Challenge // #AYSI327 ...A color challenge!!  Daffodil Delight, Blueberry Bushel, Granny Apple Green, and White are the colors called for in this sketch!!  A spring time color combo...perfect for these rain boots and umbrella!!

Never Before Used Schtuff // NBUS64 ...A monthly "never been used" challenge!!  This  challenge blog asks us to showoff those items that have never been used and this die set arrived yesterday just in time for making today's card.

CAS on Friday // #287 ...A clean and simple challenge with a theme.  The theme for this current challenge is WATERCOLOR!!  I used water color paper and a splatter stamp to create my watercolored background for this sympathy card.

Make My Monday // #MMM229 ...A theme challenge!!  ICE CREAM is the theme for this current challenge!!  Who doesn't love an ice cream cone that is all "stacked up"!??!

The Paper Players // #PP697 ...A theme challenge!!  SUMMER FUN is the theme that the Paper Players have given to us.  Those hot days of summer call for triple dip cones!!

New Challenge @ Cardz 4 Guyz #C4G351

 

Today begins a new challenge at...

Cardz 4 Guyz // #C4G315 ...A masculine challenge with a theme!!  The theme for this new challenge is "Animal Magic"!!  One of the most magical things you can witness is a mama sea turtle laying her eggs and then the little turtles returning to the sea.  Sea turtles begin the magic to the beach.

Color Hues // #TCH90 ...A color challenge!!  White & Aqua!!  I used aqua and white designer paper, stamped aqua ink onto white paper, and finished off my card by embossing a white sentiment onto aqua paper.  Truly white & aqua today!!

Inspire.Create.Challenge // #ICC171 ...A theme challenge!!  SUMMER is the theme for this challenge!!  Today I am at the beach with a couple of co-workers from the school where I work...schools out for the summer...so we head to the beach for a girls get-a-way!!

INKspirational Challenges // #IC319 ...A technique challenge!!  Use stencils with paste!!  A messy but fun technique!!  I let my paste dry and then inked it up with a sponge roller.

The Paper Players // #PP697 ...A theme challenge!!  SUMMER FUN!!  A trip to the beach is the best kind of summer fun!!  The waves, the sunshine, the sand, and the surf...so relaxing & fun!!

Inspiration Station // #IS63 ...A monthly photo inspired challenge!!  In the photo the bag is packed and ready for a day at the beach...so I created a location!!  Seas the Day!!  Today, I have my back bag packed and we are heading out to the sun, sand, and surf, literally!!
